Only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because communication is sometimes difficult and they are a little pricier. For 5 bridesmaids and bridal hair and make up it was $1400 and $400 of it was bridal hair and make up. I felt like I was being charged double for the exact same job my bridal party was getting done. They also charge $95 for each hair trial and $95 for each make up trial. That being said, I absolutely loved the work that my girls did for me day of and truly felt like a beautiful bride. They have the option between airbrushed or regular make up (I chose standard because I was told air brush is harder to touch up the day or if you cry). The only other issue was communication. I was not given arrival time for my hair and make up artists until I emailed the company the week of to ask when they would be coming. Their response was that the owner was out of town and I received an answer two days later where the owner told me I was over a week late on my deposit. I had initially been told to bring cash the day of for the remainder of the payment and was unaware that I was behind on the remaining payment. I was totally fine to pay this amount prior but wish there had been more communication done in letting me know when everything was due, etc. I would use them again in different circumstances just hoping for better communication! read more

I didn't know that when I booked Carina for my wedding makeup that I would be leaving such a bad review. After all, they came highly recommended, my trial went amazingly, and I was so excited for myself and all my girls to get beautified on my wedding day. There was a total of 8 of us getting hair and makeup done. Leading up to my wedding, I attempted to contact Carina in hopes of getting a timeline for the hair and makeup so I could assign the ladies to their times. This was such a hassle to deal with being already stressed with my upcoming wedding, I did not get the timeline until 3 days prior. My wedding was 10/13/23, and Ashley arrived on-site first for hair- which she did great on everyone, no complaints! Carina arrived afterward and went to the table to set up. On the table was the envelope with FULL payment for services plus a large tip and took it upon herself to take it. I understand it was for them, but I thought my MOH could've handed it over after the completion of services. I wish that was the case because the tip I included would've diminished quickly. As I stated, Ashley was a joy and was very friendly. Carina seemed annoyed and inconvenienced to be servicing me. That is until she found out that I was marrying the son of one of her clients, and then her annoyed attitude seemed to melt away. After completing my MIL and SIL, they left to be with the groom, and Carina was back to her annoyed self. She started working on my mom, who was only getting her eyes done. When she asked my mom what she wanted, my mom said her dress was black, so maybe something with silver, to which Carina replied, "I'm not doing 70's!". Sorry, WHAT?! This left my mom very uncomfortable, and it hurt her feelings. Carina rushed through my mom's makeup while making snarky comments along the way. And now it was my turn (the bride). Carina had almost finished my makeup, and my party was all standing behind me talking to me, I would turn around and answer them. I guess this was unacceptable. As I turned around to address them, Carina slaps my arm and says, "If you keep turning around, I'm never going to finish." I apologized, and she quickly finished. After finishing my make-up, she asked my girls if they needed any last minute touch-up's or gloss, and my mom asked if she could get some gloss applied. Carina responded to her that she didn't pay! Excuse me? You took the full payment plus tip as soon as you walked in, and you were accepting tips from all of my girls. So my mom Zelle'd you MORE $ for gloss. Unbelievable. To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. I cannot recommend Flawless Faces after my wedding day experience with Carina. I tried to put it out of my mind and enjoy my wedding day, but I could not get rid of this memory, so I am leaving a review. Yes, I think I looked nice, and my girls were beautiful, but feelings were hurt, and people felt uncomfortable with Carina's behavior and words. I recently had my wedding on 10/29/22 and Flawless Faces Inc did an amazing job on both me, my bridesmaids, and my mom and mother in law! There was a total of 9 of us (including myself) who needed both hair and makeup done, and it went so smoothly! We only had one hiccup in the morning where one of the makeup artists showed up to my house when the plan was that they were supposed to arrive at the venue, however, we were back and forth with the plans so it was just a slight miscommunication issue. Everything was resolved quickly and I didn't feel like it messed up the schedule at all. I had my hair done by Jenie and makeup by Reyna and they both did a phenomenal job! I chose airbrush and didn't need to have any touch ups at all during the rest of the day. They were both so receptive to any changes I wanted to make (same with my bridesmaids) and everything turned out perfectly! Reyna did my makeup and Rosie did my hair as a bridesmaid. I was left pretty upset after the whole experience and regret tipping. They each went overtime with my hair and makeup and had to rush it in the end. Rosie was nice, but my hair ended up looking so huge and stiff I felt like Dolly Parton. After she left I brushed it out and completely re-did it. I tried to be very clear with Reyna about what kind of fake lashes work for me and even brought her some to show that I need them shortened. She wanted to use longer ones on me and once she applied them they were poking into my tear duct so she had to shorten them like I had originally asked. Not to mention she was really rough with the makeup brushes when applying eyeshadow/sponges with primer and whatnot. The other bridesmaids were saying the same thing. My skin looked very splotchy/the makeup did not last long at all, and my eyebrows looked like the 90s style very thin eyebrows :(. I had to spend a lot of time fixing the makeup afterwards as well. I should also say that another girl who had Reyna and Rosie do her makeup and hair did the same thing as me and completely re-did both afterwards. AFTER WHAT HAPPENED NEXT I HAD TO LEAVE A REVIEW. As I had mentioned they were rushed in the end. Rosie had to finish my hair at the same time as Reyna was finishing my makeup. They were each telling me to move to different locations at the same time and it was stressful/all over the place. While they were both working on me, Reyna started speaking to Rosie in Spanish. They must have assumed I don't speak Spanish, but I actually do understand a fair amount :(. Reyna was complaining/basically trying to blame it on me for why she had taken extra time/ran late. It was so uncomfortable for me to sit there while she basically talked crap on me. The crazy thing was that I arrived 20 minutes early, and they were able to get an extra early start on me. The final straw that lead me to this complaint was that Reyna took a before pic of me as she began my makeup. As she was about to take it I told her I wasn't comfortable with that and didn't want it posted. She took it anyways and said she definitely wouldn't post it, she just wanted it for her records. Of course the next day it was posted anyways :(. Other bridesmaids came up to me after they left and noticed my hair looked pretty goofy. They also had complaints about their experiences. They mentioned that the hair and makeup crew just seemed to enter with bad moods/negative energy. They put the bride on the spot and made her pay extra because not every girl got both hair and makeup. From what I heard they had brought it up to the bride in a pretty rude way as well. She had to Venmo them instead of all cash because they added the extra costs last minute and she wasn't ready for that, what sucks was that they seemed snobby about having to accept Venmo as well. I have never left a review for anything before this, but I just wanted to put it out there for anyone considering this company for their wedding/special event. It was just a very unnecessarily frustrating start to a big day and I wish it could have gone better for everyone. read more

This complaint pertains to the awful experience with the hair stylists and makeup artists hired for my best friends bridal party. Unfortunately, they rushed through the entire group, displaying little care or consideration for the importance of the occasion. The unprofessional behavior of some of the hair and makeup team was unacceptable; and this is ASIDE from their miserable face expressions. Their vibe was so egregious that even the mere act of walking into the room made we want a shot of tequila to handle their attitude (at 7AM). The pricing for their services was high, yet the team couldn't even manage to crack a smile while performing their work - maybe just Rosie smiled. Carina, a blonde lady, was especially terrible in her treatment of the bride. Actually she was the worst one in the room. To make matters worse, she showed her true colors, demonstrating a lack of empathy, respect, and emotional intelligence. Despite the bride's grandmother's recent tragic death, Carina insisted on the contracted amount, and later tried to extract more money in front of the entire party for 3 additional people (one of which died - outside of anyones control). Which she claimed was on the contract. Knowing the bride, she wouldn't lie about the number and it was clearly a miscommunication. To embarrass the bride in front of the entire bridal party in an attempt to get more money (even if there was a miscommunication) was inappropriate and made everyone uncomfortable. Shame on you. Yes, contracts are contracts. But you can control your attitude and the way contract issues are handled. Not in front of an audience on the girl's wedding day. And maybe WORK with your clients to come to a resolution. That is the right way to do business It is impossible to recommend this organization for any event, let alone a wedding. Unless you're interested in crying on your special day - or having 6 bridesmaids complain about the bad vibe. The bride should be refunded for the greedy and stingy behavior exhibited - at the VERY least for her grandmother who passed away. read more

Amy, the makeup artist, did a great job and really took the time to listen to the style and color preferences of my entire bridal party. She was friendly and focused though she was late to perform my trial service and to the hotel (complete accident, we were staying on a lot that had two hotels right next to each other but figured I should mention it as my MIL also mentioned that she had been late for HER trial). My biggest complaint was that she only had fair skinned foundations and one of my bridesmaids is a person of color and looked washed out by the foundation that Amy chose. I feel that her kit could be improved by adding foundation for darker skin tones as the two-three foundations she did pull out were better suited for fair skinned faces. On a positive note, the makeup lasted all night which was a testament to her ability as my face sweats pretty heavily. However, I wasn't satisfied with the service that was provided specifically by Marjan who performed the hair service for my bridal party and myself. In my trial I'd asked for an updo that was very neat and had more volume as I have thinner hair at the crown of my head. I thought that it was great, truly. But after sitting on it and looking at the photo 4 months later, I ultimately decided to ask for a different updo, one that was looser and less tidy, wouldn't involve much teasing and where the bun didn't take up the entire backside of my head and was lower toward the nape of my neck. Apparently she can only do specific hair styles on certain lengths of hair. And while I understand that to be true FOR HER- she had no reason to lie about her ability- it seems a little bit ridiculous to me that I had to ask her to do my hair twice after showing her a reference photo. This wouldn't have bothered me if I had not provided a Pinterest reference photo with a literal step by step tutorial. I'd even mentioned that the photo reference had a looser look to it to add texture and she straight up told me it was just the lighting of the photo which it definitely wasn't. My hair looked nothing like the photo and hadn't been secured the way that the models hair was in the photo. In fact, not even an hour later my hair was falling out of the bun and my sister had to spend 45 minutes trying to figure out how to fix it. We ended up having to add 8 more Bobby pins so that it would stay in place. Someone else in my bridal party ended up also changing their hair immediately after hair and makeup left- almost an hour earlier than what we had paid them to be there for- as they'd asked for a sleek hairline and Hollywood waves, which is a very popular style right now, and her hair also didn't look like the photo. If you have short hair, I would recommend Marjan- she did a great style for my MIL who has shoulder length hair- but if you have longer hair than that I would suggest asking for a different hair stylist. read more

The team at Flawless Faces is amazing for weddings, special occasions or my most recent adventure, a make up lesson. It's hard to know what the the best products are for your skin type, coloring and what all these different brushes/lotions and potions are really for. After a person consult for two hours, I knew half of the things in my everyday make up bag were for my younger years and now I needed a few updates. Carina was able to help me apply my make up by her showing me one one side of my face how to apply while I watched in the mirror and after she would let me try. Carina was very difficult to communicate with. She did not respond in a timely manner, if at all. It was very stressful the week before our wedding when she wouldn't answer my text messages or emails to confirm the times and location for my wedding hair & makeup. The day of my wedding the makeup girl was 25 minutes late and that threw off our whole schedule. Then when the hair girl arrived, she had another appointment following mine and had to rush through my hair while I was getting my makeup done. It was a challenge and I felt like my hair & makeup were both rushed and did not turn out as well as I had hoped for on my big day! I decided to contact Carina, the owner, and was so pleased with the immediate response and availability for a trial. The trail for my wedding went amazing and I decided to book for myself, my mother, mother-in-law, and all of my bridesmaids. We had the pleasure of having Stephanie for our make-up!
