I got to meet Heather for a styled shoot a few months prior to my wedding, and loved her and her work so much that I booked her for my actual wedding. Originally, I made the mistake of booking my wedding hair and makeup through another company but I wasn't actually happy with the trial. I felt that it wasn't professionally done and didn't make me feel beautiful for my wedding day but was pressured to sign the contract and pay a deposit. During that same week, my mother in law met with Heather to get her hair and make up done. She mentioned that I wasn't happy with my wedding hair and make up trial and Heather thought that was awful. She thought I needed to feel the most confident and happy on my wedding day. My mother in law helped me get in contact with Heather and it was probably the best decision I made throughout the planning of my wedding. At my trial, she made sure I was comfortable and happy with everything she did. I could tell she truly cared and wanted me to feel my best at my wedding! She talked her way through the trial and let me know what she was doing every step of the way. She asked what I thought about my hair and make up during the trial and wanted honest feedback so she could make sure I was satisfied with my look. She made me feel comfortable that I could be honest and we tweaked a couple things but I loved mostly everything! By the time we were done, I couldn't wait for my wedding day and was so relieved I switched to Bloom Bride! Between my trial and wedding, she was easy to get in contact with and communicated well. She emailed me a schedule of my wedding day a few days prior. On the day of my wedding, Heather and Amber came to my wedding venue and worked all morning to do the hair and make up for my 6 bridesmaids, my mom, my mother in law, aunt, and cousin. Both girls were enjoyable to have around and made the getting ready process so fun! I couldn't imagine my wedding any other way. They did an amazing job and everyone looked absolutely beautiful. I have to start by saying that I rarely am impressed with any service enough to post a full review. But in this case, to NOT do so would have been unconscionable. There is absolutely NO way, to sufficiently praise Heather, nor are there enough stars in the ratings index to accurately describe what an incredible job she did for us. Not only was she willing to wake and drive to us at an extremely early hour, her rates and attention to detail were phenomenal. (For the record, my girlfriend was the client, so yes, this is an actual male posting a review here. lol) Heather took her time, never rushed, and even went over time in order to make sure it was "just right". She is personable, relaxed, professional and knows her art. And all of this was provided with just a couple days notice.
