I was looking online to see if they carry converse, as I was looking for a pair of regular black chucks. When I entered the store there were tons of staff all over which is nice to see these days. I browsed the men's section first since the shoes are pretty much the same, I couldn't find them at first so I went across the store over to the women's and couldn't find converse in women's either. I did notice the women's shoes wasn't as busy as the men's. I browsed around a bit (no one greeted me or anything in men's or women's). I did finally find them under a table display and they only had platforms for women's so I went back over to men's to take another look. I did find them and waited for a salesman to assist me. A man walked up (after me) and the shoe he wanted was next to stock room so he was helped right away. I waited and asked for help.. I was told by a rep that he had to go check on some other customers, I kept waiting and being ignored to the point I witnessed reps asking people still looking around if they needed help and finally someone came up to help me, I asked for a 7 (as I'm a 8 1/2, 9 in women's), he came back and told me the smallest size they have is an 8 which is too big. He asked who I was shopping for, I said myself and he asked me what size I wear and I said about a 9 in women's and he said "well this is men's" as if I was blind. Just didn't like the vibes all around.

Their staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly which isn't always the case at other large stores. I didn't look past their fishing department but the store is huge and well stocked probably the most well stocked outdoor store in the Twin Cities. In fact you may be overwhelmed. If you buy an expensive gun, DO NOT bring it here to have any maintenance done on it. Take it to Cabella's where they're professional and actually address the situation to try to make it right

Not only did they give out free candy canes but also an ornament kit. They also had a Lincoln log station, free gun shooting of fake animals, and free bow-arrow shooting of fake ducks. We always enjoy their waterfall/mountain display or taxidermy animals and the live fresh water fish aquarium. It's a great place to go with kids. This year we tried the mini donuts that were for sale in a food truck by the entrance. Yum! They were so light and fluffy.
