He knows all of the stock and what shoes might work for you, after he does extensive measuring and evaluating your feet and walk. The sales people in the store don't try to push you to buy anything, and they all have great expertise in matching shoes with feet. I'm blown away how great they were. My husband bought a pair of shoes from there quite a while ago, and has been urging me to check it out. Let me urge you to check it out. You won't be sorry. Today's visit to Fleet Feet was probably only my second time there, but I remembered them having helpful, knowledgeable staff, and I was not disappointed. Kevin assisted me and although I'm not an athlete and was only shopping for orthotic inserts for my sneakers, he gave me his full attention and the benefit of his knowledge and experience, and patiently answered all my questions, and listened to all my babbling. Even when I offered to let him handle a customer who came in after me, he insisted on continuing to help me until I made a decision, and subsequently made my purchase. It is nice to be heard and treated with respect despite not being their usual clientele and not shopping for bigger ticket items. I've bought shoes there before and will again (although they unfortunately don't carry narrow widths in store anymore, they have them in their website), but I wanted to write a review to highlight the exemplary customer service I received from Kevin. No one greeted us as we waited for several minutes to buy a pair of Hokas. Walked out without ever being acknowledged. Disappointing.

came in and waited. only one employee who was helping someone. other people were waiting before me. i don't mind waiting. And i totally get if a business is short staffed. Things happen. The problem here is the employee never acknowledged me or the people in front of me. not even "someone will be right with you". I DID see the reviews about this establishment being RACIST but i thought, theres no way, theres so many good reviews..boy was I WRONG. No big deal, most of the staff looked busy so I didn't think anything of it. As we were looking at the shoes on the walls for about 10-15 min, nobody came up to us or asked if we needed help. No problem, maybe they are busy right? I kept looking around and making eye contact SEVERAL times with workers (all white males) and none of them came over or acknowledged my husbands and I existence at all. At one point I even said "excuse me", and one employee looked at me and walked away to the back room. At this point I didnt understand what was going on. They clearly saw us walk inside and we have been in the same spot for almost 30 MINUTES NOW. To my surprise, a WHITE person walked in and was greeted right away, asked what they needed RIGHT AWAY and had them checked out within 10 FREAKING MINUTES. unbelievable. Im so sorry to those who also experienced this in the reviews. IF YOU ARE LATINO, OR ANY PERSON OF COLOR THEY WILL IGNORE YOU AND NOT CARE AT ALL. Stood in the store for more than 20 minutes and not a single employee asked if I needed anything while standing infront of the shoe racks. Darcy at the Encino location went above and beyond the call of duty to help fit me and find me the right shoe for me . I just started walking / jogging to better my health and I had been using the wrong shoes so went to fleet feet and was welcomed by Darcy . She got me on the fit id machine and told me everything about my feet that I definitely didn't know . She brought out several pairs of shoes for me to try on and when I thought I found the one she brought out another few pairs and that's when I found the new balance 860 in a wide by far the most comfortable shoe I had ever worn. I'm 72 and was looking for an athletic shoe store that carried multiple brands to increase the chance of my finding shoes that fit really well. Fleet Feet had received excellent reviews so I gave them a try. The salesperson listened to my requirements, we discussed the diagnostic profile of my feet which their computer provided, and then he brought out three pairs of shoes from different companies for me to try on. It didn't take long to determine which shoes were best. I didn't care for the colors of that shoe, however, so we went over other colors on his computer that he could special order. The shoes came in a week later and they're great! Lastly, this store has a nice community feel about it: from organizing evening runs to donating used shoes to the homeless. Beyond exceptional customer service provided by Damian! I walked in with intentions to buy shoes for my 12-hour shifts in the hospital. I'm on my feet majority of my shift and my knees, ankles, and bottom of my feet are in extreme discomfort by the time I get home. I tried Clove brand and Hoka's but I wasn't too satisfied with them. Clove ended up not helping my pain and Hoka's are just plain hideous. Damian was so great and patient with me and brought out multiple shoes for me to try based on sizing my feet on the scale. I ended up loving the Cloud and Asics. Damian's proficient experience with these top brand shoes helped me tremendously when it came to investing in shoes for work (because let's be real, they cost a pretty penny!). Andrew was great!! My mom and I went to this location on Sunday morning (Labor Day weekend) We tried on 5 pairs of shoes each! Andrew was so patient, provided the best customer service ever received at this location and Burbank. He was very thorough explaining the details of the shoes and the makers. The first service was great but my second time today, worst service. Everyone else was pampered, me I'm ready to go to purchase my $75 sandals, took 5-10 minutes to approach the register. When I got there, I was greeted by an employee and I was helped right away (I was also the only customer in the store). I told him I had an appointment for a fit analysis, and he then asked if I knew my shoes size, I said yes and told him my shoes size, and he proceeded to tell me that since I knew my shoes size the fit analysis was not necessary. Amazing place if you are looking for running shoes! They have a system that looks at your foot shape and the sales person will find shoes that would be a good option for you. Just for fun I tried on some of the brand that was not recommended for my foot shape and sure enough they felt off compaired to the others. June was our sales person and was the best! My husband and I both came in and we both loved the service and help we were provided. Unfortunately they didn't have the colors we liked in stock but their website did!
