I get it. You have a lot of stock, and this location rarely has more than a few cars parked in the lot at any time I've driven by. I have browsed the shelves in the past and wonder how they stay in business and wonder how many firearms they sell to be able to stay in business, because they aren't moving much from the shelves. I came in recently to sell something, and the guy just said that the best they could do was $X and I would have better luck on Facebook marketplace and just kept nudging the item back to me. I've been going here for years because one positive is that they have a wide selection of stuff. However, a lot of their items are way overpriced and even after said items sit and collect dust for years, they still refuse to drop the price. Also, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT attempt to pawn a firearm at this pawn shop. I needed a little extra cash to hold me over until I got paid again, so I brought a brand new in the box semi-auto pistol in to pawn. It is a $600+ firearm. They offered me $150 max. I politely declined and went down the street to their competitors, who immediately offered me $350. That is a ridiculous difference if you ask me. I will continue to pop in to Fleur De Lis Pawn (only because I live so close) to browse through new items they might get in, but I will never attempt to pawn another item here. read more

Walked in this place and I should have known I would have a bad experience when the guy behind the counter was unfriendly and made me feel as if I was bothering him. They had a cool Les Paul guitar which was hundreds overpriced, so I got a decent deal from him (he still was unfriendly during the transaction). I got the guitar home and did what you have to do with any pawn shop guitar - clean it and do a full setup it, and re-string it. The electronics also did not work, so I had to fix a ground issue. After I have it all setup and plug it in, I notice it wont stay in tune. After a little searching, I discovered a crack in the neck. I brought it back the next day and explained everything, and he said "No returns. Maybe if you hadn't messed with it I could take it back'. Messed with it? It was completely filthy, with rusted strings and who knows what Covid was on that thing...Plus it didn't even work! He would not even consider refunding me some money so I could get it repaired. The guy working this morning was a total douchebag. He was incredibly rude and not only treated me as if I am an idiot, but seemed irritated that I had the audacity to walk in the door at all. He was flippant and dismissive, even though I was polite and, likely, the first customer of the day. Good job with the first impression! I will NEVER go back, and I encourage anyone reading this to give their business to BJ's or Airline Jewelry and Loan.
