Fleurish L.A. is an incredible shop! I went to 7 bridal shops in both Sacramento and L.A. and tried on so many dresses before I came to Fleurish and found my dress. The selection of dresses here was so beautiful -- unique and lovely and classy and not at all typical to the selection at other shops. I specifically came here because they carry Lillian West. My top contender before I came in was a Lillian West dress, and after I booked my appointment with a note about that dress and others I was curious about, Sherri reached out by email with helpful information about which LW dresses she had that she thought I might like. My mom and I came in for my appointment with Megan, who was really kind, knowledgeable, and fun. I appreciated getting to go around the gorgeous, calm store -- we had the shop to ourselves essentially -- and getting to pick out which ones I wanted to try, with Megan's advice as well. I had already tried on so many dresses at other stores, and usually had a muted reaction of, "Oh... it's nice!" or "It's pretty, but not for me..." But when I put on the first dress, a Lillian West dress I hadn't seen online before, I burst into tears, becoming a total bridal cliche. It wasn't what I expected but it was also really perfect for me. Megan asked a lot of questions about my reaction to help validate and understand what I loved about the dress. I then tried on all the others I had picked out -- I wanted to be very sure! Plus there were so many pretty dresses and I had a feeling this was my last appointment... Then I tried the first dress on again and cried again. (I really did not think I would get to have such a positive and emotional wedding dress discovery moment! I'm grateful I did.) Megan again helped validate all the things I liked about the dress, and how it differed from the other ones I'd tried on. I felt really happy and secure in my choice, and it's a big purchase and an emotional one, so that was important to me. This review is based off an appointment I had in March 2019. I had invited my mom and future mother in law out to LA to help me dress shop, and I chose to visit Fleurish based off the dress designers they had online. I showed up to my appointment on time and the shop was closed. I called the number on my appointment verification email and no one answered. A few minutes later the employee called me back to say she was almost there. When she did show up, she looked like she just crawled out of bed. She was wearing dirty sweatpants, sneakers, and a sweatshirt. When I booked my appointment I had to say details about my wedding, what I was looking for in a dress, etc. When the woman finally opened up the shop and sat me down on the sofa, she pulled up my appointment info seemingly for the first time because she read it out loud to me. When she did pick out some dresses for me to try on, they were either really tight or too small (I'm a size 8 in regular clothes). It was not the best experience dress shopping due to the employee being late and then showing up looking extremely sloppy and unknowledgeable about my appointment. This is a long review, but If I could give 1000/10 stars to Allie and Fleurish LA, I would. From the time I booked the appointment to the purchase of the dress, Allie was thorough, positive, and knowledgeable. I was nervous going in to dress shopping, and it completely faded away once I spoke to Allie for a pre-appointment consultation. She really personalized my experience based on the type of dress I wanted. This is not a conveyer belt establishment. Allie took the moments in between dresses to connect with my family and ask me questions about myself and the upcoming wedding. Her dress selection was PERFECT, I ended up selecting the first dress I tried on! It was apparent that Allie is very passionate about her job and dress design. I loved learning about the fabrics and details! I got the VIP experience and Allie had an array of snacks and mimosa fixings set up for us in the private room. It really made my family and friends feel special. Allie was very patient as well. She let me retry on my dress twice during the original appointment. She added a veil and flowers to get the full picture! Then she let me come back the same day after an appointment at another location to have my "Say Yes" moment. I'm thrilled to support a local shop that also gives back to the community. Every dress sold donates a prom dress to a local girl! Last but not least, having Xander the therapy dog there was such a highlight for my crew! Had a such great experience at Fleurish LA! My wedding is coming up in 4 months, and I am still in the market for a dress. In my frantic state, I came across Fleurish LA. So glad I came to check it out. While it's not a champagne and 'Say Yes to the Dress' type shop, it does offer a great variety of dresses, across many price points. Most importantly, I think the selections they have really fit my style - chic, natural and elegant. I love mermaid, lace and not super poofy. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable - I really enjoyed my whole experience there. I didn't feel rushed at all, or pressured, which I can't say for other places I've been. I especially love Pronovias dresses, but alas, it's out of my budget. However, Sherri and team were very helpful and suggested several dresses for me to try that had a similar style and were reasonably priced. I was surprised at how good of an eye she has! I have several top contenders in mind, but need to ponder over it some more. Luckily, the ladies at the shop were very willing to fulfill my many picture taking requests, at different angles. Sherri at Fleurish is the absolute best! I went in mid-March and I was nervous to try on dresses for my upcoming wedding, and the minute I walked in I felt so comfortable and had so much fun. Sherri's dog Xander was a very welcome addition to the entire moment, and made me feel right at home. I am so happy with the two dresses I landed on, and grateful for the time Sherri took to help me decide on what dresses I felt most myself in. Cannot recommend this place more! read more

Poor customer service -- if you're a first time wedding dress shopper, get a better experience elsewhere-- I went here a few days ago (January 2021), with my best friend who is getting married, merely for support. It's unfortunate this was my friend's first experience shopping for a dress. I just want others to know that you should just go somewhere else if your budget isn't at least $1000+ and if you happen to be an average bodied, curvy woman (aka most women, and real and beautiful). I wish I would have known this beforehand so that I could have suggested my friend look elsewhere. Luckily, we had an appointment at David's Bridal right after our appointment with Sherri -- and as Sherri insisted *numerous times* to us during our short visit since we didn't have the budget of Sherri's offerings, and tbh David's Bridal was better - but for many reasons than I think Sherri would understand. Sherri met with us and immediately told my best friend that due to her budget she isn't going to find much here (and said it with an attitude as if we're wasting Sherri's time and made us feel bad for even going at all). Also, Sherri didn't hesitate to say right from the start that due to my friend's size (an average size!!!) that there would only be maybe 1-2 dress options for her. She said this within the first, idk maybe 3-5 minutes of meeting with us, and then proceeded to tell us how she met with a customer just the day before who got offended by this type of talk about weight/body sizes and tried to justify herself to us. And I was so confused why she was telling us this. I'm genuinely surprised this place has gotten as many positive reviews as it has. I'll give Sherri the benefit of the doubt that she was having a bad day and I hope others' experience is better -- but I don't think the things she told my friend are simple small things that could be fixed overnight. They're deep rooted and require training in customer service, and an understanding of body diversity, various budgets and income diversity etc. which Sherri doesn't seem to have. Sherri made it clear within the first 5 min of our appointment that my friend's size and weight were the issue here (as opposed to, idk, maybe the fact that Sherri doesn't offer a diverse range of sizes and options for various body types? Or, hm, idk, maybe the problem of poor customer service or basic manners?). Those were the real issues here -- not weight or budget. Sherri honestly seemed cool and chill at first, which is why this was so disappointing. I would've almost liked her but then she started talking and saying all these ignorant, disrespectful comments to my friend that made us so uncomfortable. And she tried to justify herself on top of it by claiming she just has a "blunt" style to the service she offers. She said "you have a diet plan right? There isn't going to be much options for you here as a size 10. Have you thought about your diet plan?" "Go to David's Bridal- that's more your budget and would have more options for your body." "But you'll see the quality difference when you go, compared to here. You'll see. Yeah go to David's Bridal, that seems more for you. go and you'll see that the quality won't be the same." We did see the difference -- the biggest difference that David's Bridal offers (besides carrying a wide, diverse range of styles and sizes) was proper customer service! I'm surprised Sherri and Fluerish have been getting these high stars on here. I suggest Sherri gets better customer service and diversity training -- or at the very least make it clear on her website that this store is just not meant for most women under size, say, 6? Any size beyond that, go elsewhere. Make it clear on the website right from the start, if that's the area you serve. She made us feel like we were wasting her time right away, which is why we ended up leaving our appointment early by about 20 minutes. Not sure how Sherri thinks treating potential customers like this would be good for business? not everyone is going to be as chill with your "blunt" style, Sherri (which, my friend, luckily for Sherri, was so gracious that she didn't say anything). Sherri should respect that customers might get offended by the rude things she says and maybe adjust her approach? It's a shame because we were trying to support a small local shop during this pandemic but Sherri just can't be bothered. If this is your first time shopping for a wedding dress and you want to feel special, consider going elsewhere. Or call in advance and ask "bluntly" what her style in service is, what to expect in sizes and price offerings, before you go, so you can decide if it's right for you. I'm giving her 3 stars to be generous and give her the benefit of the doubt. I hope she gets proper training and adjusts her approach. read more

It was so nice to have a very personal dress shopping appointment and once I found my dress I knew it was the one! Besides a beautiful selection of dresses, one of the things that makes this bridal store special, is the the owner Sherri. My daughter found a particular dress online that she loved, however, it was going to be discontinued very soon and no store had it in stock. Sherri arranged to have it shipped to Fleurish so that she could try it on, and she had also pulled several other dresses for her to try by the same designer. It turned out that ultimately the dresses weren't a fit for what she was looking for, however, during the process, Sherri could not have been helpful, patient and accommodating. I went to Fleurish LA with an open mind after attending 4 appts at other bridal salons. Not only I had an amazing and pleasant experience, most importantly I found my wedding dress there:)!! My wedding is in August, I've been dreading to go dress shopping as I was pretty confident I'll be able to find something easily in my size and price range, WRONG...! After attending 3 appts in west LA and Bhldn in Beverly Hills, I was overwhelmed with choices and was on the fence with some of my choices. I chanced upon Fleurish LA on IG and decided to make an appt with them. Sherri, I believe who's the owner/stylist attended to my appt, was extremely helpful with listening to what style I wanted and even gave some great suggestions without over stepping on boundaries. She helped me in and out of dresses without making me feel uncomfortable or rushed at all. The salon has a great selection of styles and brands at different price points, they even carry some of the Bhldn styles at better discounts and have an in-house seamstress to handle alterations. Sherri was very knowledgeable about the fabrics (I recalled going to one of the other salons where the owner/stylist had no clues about the fabrics and how they drape etc), and in suggesting customization option/accessorizing with the veils, hair clips, shoes etc. Towards the end of the appointment, Sherri had helped me narrow down on the shapes and styles that fit my vision and most flattering on my body and Voila... i found MY dress!!! We were very excited for the appointment we had with Fleurish, however, it was definitely a let down. I was so excited after seeing all the great reviews and beautiful dresses online. This was our first appointment of many for the day, and definitely did not get us off to a good start. This is for a bridal appointment - I hope this was a one time encounter and that no other bride feels the way our group did. The group walked in to the bridal boutique, and the stylist was rude with no greeting of the group and demanded that everyone put their drink on their table, which we were happy to do with or without asking. As the appointment continued, not only did the stylist not understand what she was looking for, she didn't even help get the bride into the dresses. There was no attempt at creating this experience for her, and even the group felt that she was trying to rush us through the appointment. Finally and last straw, was that she kicked us out close to half hour before the end of our appointment saying she needed to get ready for her next appointment. This would not be a place I recommend if the customer service and experience does not improve. read more

Where do I start? I walked into Fleurish LA as my last bridal appointment of the weekend. I was exhausted, I hadnt found a dress yet, and my patience was quickly dwindling. I came in and was super honest with Donya about my previous experiences and what I wanted. She was SO bad ass. Ok, I literally can't say enough about good things about Sheri! I truly feel as though it was my best friend who happened to own a bridal shop that helped me pick out the perfect dress. I originally purchased a $40 on sale dress from nordstrom (during rona) which was definitely pretty but lacked the wow factor. Sherri was absolutely amazing. After telling her about my style and what I was looking for she pulled a ton of dresses for me to get started. She was so helpful and very patient. Another shop we went to earlier in the day was rushing us and kept telling us how many left I could try on so I don't go over my "1 hour" appointment. For being a bridal stylist myself for years, I thought I would know exactly what would work for me but I was so wrong. I tried on 20 lace gowns and never felt like myself. Leaving a long review (10/10 would go again!) for this FABULOUS business for potential clients to know this place offers a high quality experience and STUNNING dresses (for an affordable price!) and for Megan/this shop to get major kudos: If you are ready to find your wedding dress, want to get the fancy boutique wedding dress shopping experience and truly hope to fall in love with a dress that does not compromise on beauty/style (from simple elegance to all those extras like high quality tulle/soft materials, gorgeous lace, a little sparkle from glitter or beading, appliqués, and all the fancy stuff!)-- but are also on a mission to find something reasonably priced and affordable that doesn't make you worry about your wedding budget being blown up-- COME HERE! They are the best and will take such good care of you. I was initially hesitant to pay the $25 for the dress appointment but it was so worth it (and ultimately goes back towards the price of your dress if you end up finding one you love); they give you over an hour to browse the dress selection and try things on in their spacious building, it feels very light, airy, and hopeful in there, well organized and romantic with about 4 nicely spaced racks with gorgeously curated dresses and materials that are a treat to the eye. The space is thoughtfully designed with a comfortable curtained changing area, 2 chairs for guests, a soft carpet to be barefoot as you try things on, and perfect romantic music playing in the background, you also feel like you have a lot to choose from, but it doesn't feel cramped or overwhelming. So even if you don't find your dress here the experience is also worthwhile. What I really loved is that they balance stylish designers with affordability and transparency in costs and alteration process: they curate incredible designers from all over the world including American-based designer Lillian West (who I ended up absolutely falling in love with -- she does classic, traditional wedding dress designs and shapes that make you feel like a bride but with a romantic dreamy bohemian floral vibe that could work in a fancy indoor venue or a simple outdoor wedding). Dresses started off the sample rack for under $1000 (I liked one for $900 by an Israeli designer; the one that I jaw-drop-fell-in-love-with was only $1800). The average price is $2000-4000 range mostly, max ~$5000. They also have affordable veils (~$100-400ish) and in house seamstresses for alterations ($550-650 average, this is not taxed). In total, my dress + veil after taxes was $2150, even with alterations after that it will still be well under $3000 (my goal). I did not feel like I compromised quality AT ALL, and fell in love with the dress the minute I tried it on and could see it at my wedding day and yes cried! (I didn't get that feeling with more expensive dresses I tried on elsewhere.) For brides on even more of a budget I think it would be doable especially if sticking to sample dresses which were also stunning! Proceeds from a wedding dress sale goes towards a prom dress for an underserved local teen too which is beautiful Finally, I will say this: Megan is incredible! She works at the front desk and runs the bridal appointment, helps you browse the inventory, guides you to certain designs she thinks you'd love, and helps you get ready to show off each dress for you and/or your guests to get the full beauty of each option. She is upbeat, impressively knowledgeable about the dresses, helped me pick out the right ones to try on based on my mental image/prior picture/asks but also wild cards, and was respectful of my price point. I never felt pressured to pick a dress, just supported and celebrated in the process whether it lead me back to them or to another shop. She clearly loves what she does, had a great experience with her own wedding/dress, and clearly loves passing along that positivity and happiness to make your dream come true too! read more

Leah at Fleurish L.A. was so so sweet and allowed me to try on so many dresses. She let me sift through all the dresses in the shop and pick out which ones I wanted to try on and then based on that, she picked out several more that she thought I would like. She really listened to my feedback in order to find THE dress! I am so in love with the gown I chose and cannot wait to wear it on the big day! After purchasing the dress, I also found out that Fleurish L.A. is committed to profit with a purpose. With every bridal gown purchased, Fleurish L.A. donates a prom dress to a deserving high school student. How amazing is that?!? I really am so happy I stumbled across this shop. I highly recommend this shop for a true, one-on-one experience--it was nice having the privacy of having the whole shop to ourselves during the one hour appointment. Since it was a 2021 style I was having a hard time finding the dress at any dress shop that carried the designer. I called all the shops in San Antonio where I am from, and all of the shops in Southern California! Only Sherri was able to have a sample mailed to her shop free of charge and before October of 2020. I was on the hunt for this dress starting in late June. So not only was I able to try on the dress free of charge, I was able to try on the dress 5 months earlier than any other shop. Incredible! On top of this, Sherri and her fabulous seamstress were able to help me find a solution to make my dress a little more covering up top. I also purchased a beautiful veil. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am to have found this boutique. This place exceeded my expectations by far! Let me break it down for you.. I found them randomly through a designer website. I usually like to stick with local places here in Torrance, but figured I should check this place out since they carried some great designers. Thankfully, the storefront has it's own designated parking spots, so that helps! Donya was my stylist who honestly made the experience as amazing as it was. She was so professional and honest, yet extremely personable. I visited the shop with my mom and my sister who flew in from NY, and we all got along so well right off the bat. I simply showed Donya a few pictures of the styles I was looking for, and within minutes she was able to pull 8-10 dresses that fit my criteria. She took care to pull dresses within my budget as well! She was NOT pushy at all, and really respected the many little preferences I had when it came to choosing THE dress. Super patient dealing with a noobie like me :) Her methodical way of helping my try on dresses, narrow down favorites, and ultimately help take pictures of the top dresses made the experience seem a lot more organized than previous visits from other shops. After less than an hour, I was able to have 4 dresses that I could see myself wearing on the big day! After thinking about it for a day, I ended up deciding on one and was able to make a quick visit to re-try the dress and finally purchase! What I extremely loved about this shop was #1 DONYA, #2 the selection of dresses and quality really matched what I was looking for and #3 the intimacy of the shop. I believe they only allow 2 parties at a time at the shop (no more than 3 guests each). We were lucky enough to be the only party there at the time (on a Sunday afternoon), so we had the whole floor to ourselves! Super highly recommend any bride-to-be to check this place out. Keep in mind that this place used to be under different management not too long ago (I think Fleurish took over early Spring 2017), so any negative reviews you hear about the "shop next to the korean bbq place" are probably referring to the old management. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have found Fleurish LA. Sherri is AMAZING and so genuinely helpful. My wedding is in 3 weeks and I've had a revelation that I do not like my originally chosen dress. Panicked, I needed a dress fast, so she stayed open late and let me come in. She sold me a dress off the rack and is going to help me with alterations! I cannot say enough nice things about her. Fleurish LA was the first and only bridal shop I went to and I had a fantastic experience! We unexpectedly got an appointment for a civil ceremony for the NEXT DAY and I wasn't even sure I wanted a dress. I called Fleurish LA to see if they had off the rack dresses and Sherri was able to see me within a few hours on the same day. She was super helpful selecting a variety of dresses for me to try on and in the end I found the perfect dress! There was no pressure having to buy something either and the environment was very safe regarding Covid restrictions (my partner, our baby and I were the only ones in there with masks, sanitizer etc). It was also so lucky that Sherri's seamstress Paty was able to alter the dress over night so everything was ready the next morning! Sherri also offered me a 10% discount for an off the rack dress. I never thought I'd find a dress less than 24hrs before the ceremony, I would definitely recommend Fleurish LA! read more

I am so happy to say that I said yes to my dress here!! This shop and Sherri easily gave me the best bridal experience. I had my bridal moment here which is something so special and that I will never forget. I felt very rushed at other places I looked at before (even got cut!) but at Fleurish, I really felt like it was all about me and making sure I found the perfect dress. So glad I checked out this store. I love that you can make an appt online; I was able to make a same day appt! Leah and Sherri were the best and made my solo dress shopping trip a blast! I never felt rushed (I was at the store until a little after 7 when they close at 7!) or pressured to buy a dress. I really liked their Elegance Bridal Collection and of the 4 dresses I tried on, I loved each and every one of them. I'm excited to come back with my mother and bridesmaids!
