I had my wedding dress designed with Lujen about a year ago. I totally loved my dream dress, the service offered was like no other (Thank You Erika) and I am very grateful for their time. As I looked for a wedding dress, I was a little upset with the year long timeline of having a factory dress delivered from magazine. I never thought I would have my dress customize because my work hours are usually the same work hours as bridal stores. If it was possible to give Royal Lily Boutique less than ONE star I would! BEWARE, this business is here to steal your money - "our number one priority is customer satisfaction" is complete BS. My wife had to deal with a wedding dress that looked nothing like she had envisioned the week of our wedding and to top it off Lujain had the audacity to say the following: 1. That she can still fix it even though we're 4 days before the event. 2. That the $1000 deposit was supposedly "not enough" and that's why she had to use cheaper material -- this is ridiculous because she will be paid in FULL upon delivery but it is not my job to pay for the materials of the dress. Let alone the fact that she refused to give the deposit back when we refused a dress that did not resemble anything we had requested. 3. Her value on customer service is complete BS. If she truly cared about customer service she wouldn't laugh in someone's face and say "good luck finding a dress a few days before your wedding" followed by hanging up the phone call. 4. Cancelling appointments the week before the wedding resulting in my wife seeing her wedding dress for the FIRST time the week of the wedding. This whole process was a complete nightmare, something in which we were proactive in starting early (about 6 months prior) so we wouldn't run into issues yet Royal Lily (both the in house designer and the front desk receptionist) made an effort to completely derail any attempt at making a wedding dress a simple and easy process. I FULLY expect a snarky response as evidenced by all the other one star reviews and their responses. SAVE YOUR MONEY, do NOT waste your time here. Do not come here! Had the worst experience. The employee there took measurements and pics that we suggested and said the dress would be ready for the first fitting in 3-4 weeks. 7 weeks pass and no call we had to call ourselves to see what was happening. We had to make our own appointment 2 weeks out of the weeding date mind you. We get there the dress looks nothing like what we asked for. The employees there start treating us rude saying they will not make changes because that's what we asked for. They call the owner and she says she will do what she can and call us the next day. No call the next day. We call and get out on hold and then they hang up on us. We call again several times and they forward our calls. The owner the sends us an instagram message saying she will not be able to do what we asked. We asked why couldn't you guys tell us before making the dress? She said she did what she could and we will not get our money back. She then says we will have to talk to the owner. I have to say I have been to a few bridal boutiques at this point of my bridal journey and by far this was one of the most disappointing experiences. First of all they charge $50 of you to even book an appointment which I understand. What I don't understand is how do you charge a deposit but are late 20 mins to your first appointment. Second I was hoping to see more inclusive sizing with a bit more of a selection. Which what I was expecting when I inquired about an appointment and what put the cherry on top was when a sales associate decided to drink out of my sister's coffee and pretended as if nothing had happen. This is the worst place to ever have a wedding gown custom made!!they appear all professional and custom but if your custom order is too much for them they will drop you like a hot cake!!!! We placed a custom order with them over a year in advance and after several visits they dropped us like it was too much for them! We paid a lot of money just to get where we were at! My daughter just started medical school and they told us that they could not complete her wedding gown and that the designer was not able because she was delivering the following year!!! Seriously!!! We ordered a veil from here. They charged us over 300 and when we came to pick up the veil it was completely different. We told them this is not the veil and that ours was much simpler than this. Do NOT shop at Royal Lily Boutique or use Lujen Labib (the in-house designer). The final dress you receive will be far from the design they promised. Despite the dress being "personally designed," you can expect it to fit improperly (or not fit at all). If you have time to read it, you can see all the struggles I faced with my dress from Royal Lily Boutique. 1. Vendor did not deliver the finished product by the specified deadline of 22 September. 2. Vendor did not provide the product promised. The design was for a dress with detachable sleeves. The dress (after the poor alterations the vendor performed) had no sleeves and had patches made from spare fabric covering both underarms where the seamstress cut the dress because the original version did not fit. 3. Vendor refused to over a discount or issue a refund. 4. Vendor became hostile, rude, and threatened to keep the dress and the money paid for the deposit. I reached out to Royal Lily Boutique (doing business as Royal Lily LLC), a custom dress shop regarding having my wedding dress made. After a paid consultation, and the designer sketched a dress to my specifications, and we agreed upon a pick-up date. Royal Lily Boutique promised that the dress would be ready for a final fitting on 21 September (3 business days before my departure to my destination wedding), and all alterations would be complete by 22 September. I flew from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Los Angeles, California, on 16 September in the event that the dress might be done early. However, they did not complete it until 21 September. When I went in for my scheduled final fitting appointment on 21 September, the sleeves and shoulders were so tight that I could not stand up straight, and it left a bruise on my arm. They said it would be no problem, and that they would complete the alterations to make the shoulders and sleeves fit. However, when I came in the next day, the alterations were worse. I still could not stand up straight, and they cut holes in the armpits, leaving my underarms and the sides of my breasts exposed for anyone to see. Again, they assured me there would be no issues and to come back in an hour. When I returned at approximately 4:30p.m., they said the dress was still not ready. I remained approximately another 1.5 hours, as they had me waiting on the seamstress to finish. This was an hour after the business closed. At this point, they indicated that the dress still was not ready and told me to come back the following day, which is one (1) day after the alterations were guaranteed to be finished. When I came the next day, 23 September, the alterations were still not correct, and they said having sleeves on the dress would be impossible. Therefore, now the dress they provided no longer even remotely matched the design we agreed upon. When I asked for them to correct one of the underarm areas that was clearly sewn differently than the other one, they said they did not have time. Knowing that I had a flight that evening, they used that to their advantage, giving me no alternatives. At this point, I asked for a 20% discount, since the dress was not what we agreed upon. They refused to even entertain the idea of a discount. Instead, they threatened that, if I did not pay the full price, they would keep the deposit and the dress. They also refused to refund the deposit. At this point, the staff was very confrontational and aggressive. They started bagging up the dress and refused to make the needed alterations. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience. A custom dress should fit properly, and they could not accomplish this. Additionally, a custom dress should match the design promised by Royal Lily Boutique. They could not accomplish this either. When they are unable to provide the services promised, they will become aggressive and start threating you as the customer. There are much better options that will treat you respectfully and ensure the product delivered is accurate to what is promised. read more

After the four weeks mark, we called them, and they kept lieing about dates one to come in saying that they still had to make that headpiece for the dress, and continue finished the beading , which was all a lie. We had a deadline and they pass that deadline. They made promises that they did not keep they kept lying, and when it came time to pick up the dress finally which is today. The dress that we ordered was completely different than the dress they had in store. It was different material, different color and they didn't put any of the crystals or the gold beaded and the diamonds. They made it completely different than what we ask for. And instead of taking responsibility to place the blame on us I never experienced a more shittier place in my life. As soon as this event is over I will update the pictures to show everyone what they gave us instead of what we wanted ordered because it's was ridiculous. They were very inconsiderate. I never met a more. Horrible establishment they are scammers liars. They made the dress very cheaply completely different. I personally told the designer a few points that i cared about in my dress and asked the designer to sketch a few ideas until we reached the look that i want. I also saw another customer who came in with their own design and got exactly the dress they wanted. So it can go either way, if you are like me someone who did not know what they want or someone who exactly knows what they want, this place will make it work.
