In March 2018 we decided to have our floors redone and on a whim went into Fleury's to look at samples. We had passed Fleury's countless times as residents of Concord. I was in a bad situation where I needed to replace the carpets in the house were moving into within a week and could not even go to the house much before moving in, tried homedepot and lows and also called fleury a flooring by the time I even had someone call me back from homedept we had already chosen the carpet, done with measures by and set up up a time for installation with fleury flooring. This review is pretty late, but I thought customers ought to know about this. After my carpet was installed, two weeks later I was vacuuming, and to my horror, a thread caught in the vacuum brush and pulled an 18 inch thread out of my new carpet. Obviously, it was not installed properly for this to happen. I called, and the owner said, "these things happen" and said it would cost $350 for someone to come out and fix it. What ????? I have someone coming out today to fix it for a very reasonable price, not $350! read more

Can't say enough good stuff about this family-owned business and I'm so glad we didn't use some big-box store after what happened. The owner, Al, was great. We went to put hardwood floors in our new house, but Al's guys found major, unknown pet damage to our subfloors when they pulled up the carpet. Instead of going right over it, like some big-box store sub-contractor probably would have, Al stopped all work and encouraged me to get it restored. Al put the whole thing on hold while a major restoration was done, and re-scheduled around the restoration. Once the restoration was done, Al got his crew back out quickly to get the job done. He personally came by several times during this process to check the progress and follow up. He even called contacts he had made over his many years in the floor business to research how to have the problem restored. I know we absolutely caused havoc with his work schedule, and he did a whole bunch of stuff outside the scope of his responsibility, but Al still came in right at his original quote and the floors look great. read more

Great installation by Fleury! We had the carpet replaced with an engineered wood flooring in a majority of our home. Hallway, bathrooms and kitchen were not changed from the stone flooring. Based on his expertise, he discussed the pros and cons of different floor samples and installation methods. We were also able to keep samples for many days to compare under different lighting conditions. Victor, the team led, was an artist in transitioning from a long hall to our master bedroom. He configured the flooring at a borderless angle to eliminate any threshold molding. If you are looking for someone to work on your flooring, this is the place to go to. It is a family run business and they provided excellent support and service when I needed it most. I had a great experience and highly recommend them. Some of the finer details, in case you are interested: I recently needed to replace a portion of my laminate flooring which got damaged. I was stressed out about the whole thing. I saw the great reviews for Fleury's and found out that they carried the model/brand of laminate flooring that I was looking for. So I decided to call them first. I explained my situation, over the phone, to Patrick Fleury. He put me at ease and assured me that he would take care of me. From my first interaction with Patrick, I was impressed with the level of service that he provided. He quickly confirmed that they carried the exact model/color that I was looking for and made an appointment to take the measurements so that he could work on an estimate for me. When I met Patrick in person, he once again assured me that he could get the job done. He has a friendly personality and is easy to talk to and work with. Later that evening, Patrick gave me an estimate, and I immediately made the decision to hire Patrick for the job. Patrick's gave me an accurate timeline of when to expect the material to arrive and when his contractors could come and work on my floor. Patrick's contractors came as soon as the material arrived (which was pretty quick). They were on time, friendly, courteous and most importantly, highly skilled. When we told the staff at Fleury's what we were looking for, they recommended a company, Moda, in southern CA who does custom colors. My husband and I bought a new home in Walnut Creek, and the only thing that needed to be done before we moved in was to replace the carpets. We shopped around a bit and decided on Fleury's because of their superior pricing and the service we received from Al and his son in helping to select our new floors. Boy, are we glad we did. We were very excited to move in to the house and were on a tight timeline with the movers. After working with Al on the details (I'm glossing over quite a bit here, but should definitely mention that throughout the entire process Al was extremely proactive and responsive), we received the keys to our house on a Tuesday, and Al and his installation team were onsite first thing on Wednesday. By end of day Friday, we had 4 beautifully carpeted new bedrooms and brand new hardwood floors in the office. Oh, and those details and the new hardwood floors I mentioned? We needed the office to match the hardwood floors in the rest of the house. There were a few boxes of the original flooring left from the previous owners, so we thought it'd be easy to just order a couple more boxes of the same stuff and have that installed. Al looked into it and found out the style we had was discontinued. Bummer! Luckily for us, Al was able to find a match from another manufacturer and rush ordered it so it'd be ready for installation the day after we closed. My husband and I have high expectations for service and quality, and we are really thrilled with Fleury's and the job they did. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted when we started the carpet selection process, but I absolutely love the carpet we chose (based on Fleury's recommendations). I have nothing but great things to say about Al Fleury and Fleury's Floor Covering. I had a bathroom remodel (through LOWES) a couple of years ago and the floor was installed incorrectly. Actually, it was a butcher job by an incompetent installer. I tried to get the issue resolved but was unsuccessful. If your thinking of contracting through LOWES.....DON'T. The whole experience was a nightmare. I finally decided to call Fleury's. They installed new carpet for me last year and I was really pleased with it. I went down to the store and met with Al Fleury. I showed him pictures of my floor and the surrounding damage done as a consequence of the bad installment. After discussing what needed to be done to correct it I picked out new flooring (they carry lots of options) and scheduled the install for the following Monday. Victor showed up promptly at 9:30am to do the install (he also did the carpet install last year). He not only replaced the existing floor but corrected the damage done to the shower surround, door jam, and baseboards done by the previous installer. I LOVE my new floor. On a Saturday morning not long ago I stopped in Fleury's place of buisness to see about the installation of a new bathroom floor. I spoke with Mr. Fleury himself about this. Explained that I wanted this to happen on a certain date and also needed a new toilet installed. He was very easy to get along with and the date I requested was not a problem. His crewman showed up on the date agreed upon and replaced the floor and the toilet. He was very professional and extremely neat. Covered the carpet in the hallway to avoid any stains from getting on the carpet when removing the old toilet. The floor looks great and his clean up was wonderful. Fluery's has also installed my kitchen floor which was why I chose them for the bathroom. I will not hesitiate to call on them again for my master bath. read more

We have Mannington Antique Barn Oak Laminate throughout most of our house. We decided we wanted to extend it further throughout the hallways. I left a message at Fleury's Floor Covering. Mr. Fleury was very responsive, was at our house within two days to take measurements and we had an estimate emailed two days later. I am giving him five stars for outstanding customer service, which nowadays seems almost nonexistent. His team of installers were well-qualified. Our hallway area had many doors, and even though the project seemed small, it was a lot of work. When I came home that night it was finished and everything was nice and clean. Very happy with my new carpet, great customer service and price I received from Kimberlee and Al. Kimberlee and Al, Thank you!!!. I walked into the shop and met with Kimberlee. No pressure sales talk. She told me the first thing is to select the carpet I want. All I knew is that I wanted high end quality carpet with a great price and hassle free service. She showed me the most popular colors and designs. During that process I really liked Montecito style carpet made by Moda. Now the next step was to select the colors. She gave me few samples which I brought home and showed to my kids and wife and we ended up selecting our color. Kimberlee then ordered bigger samples from the Moda carpet mill and few other darker and lighter colors to be absolutely sure on the color. Al then came over to measure. For my stairs he recommended Hollywood style which I had no idea even existed. The stairs look awesome! Al worked with my schedule to have the installation done on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Installers were great. They arrived on time, moved all the furniture and other big items. As promised, the whole job was done in 3 days. They installed 318 yards or 2862 sq.ft. carpet in 5 bedrooms, family room, living room, and hallways. I highly recommend Al and KImberlee Fleury. Fantastic family-owned company! If you're shopping around - STOP, and GO HERE. You won't regret it! First of all, everyone there - Kimberlee, Al, Patrick - is friendly, chatty, and lovely. (I was reading some of the responses Kimberlee was making to critical reviews on Yelp too - what a class act.) They were very nice to our kids, too - who can be a handful! Very informative but no hard selling, they really seemed to want us to get the right solution, the right product for our needs. We went in a few years ago to get some information on replacing floors in a home we were considering buying - they gave us a lot of time and info, not even knowing if we'd HAVE a home for which we could buy floors! Very patient and good relationship building. Once we did have a house AND enough equity built up to replace the mangy floors - we went right back. They remembered us - and even the hardwood we had fallen in love with years ago! We ended up getting that wood - in a different shade - installed in about 1000 sq ft, plus a hallway and two staircases. The process was painless, the price was right, the installation was FANTASTIC. The guys were very courteous, fast, clean, and highly skilled - they did a little "herringbone" pattern of the wood at the end of the hall where the "run" of the wood looked best to change directions 90-degrees....it looks SO luxurious and high-end and beautiful. They communicated clearly to make sure they knew what we wanted, and executed it perfectly. I never had a doubt they would - these are not the kind of guys that install floors one day, paint the next, and neither one very well. These guys are CRAFTSMEN. They also were meticulous about cutting and installing the baseboards, which look great.... The transformation of our house was incredible. The experience (while renovations are never fun) was as good as I can imagine it being. The service, communication, pricing, courtesy....everything was impeccable.
