The first was about ten years ago for another portion of our house, and once again they did an outstanding job. They were helpful in selecting a flooring pattern that matched our previously installed floors, and the estimating and scheduling process was straightforward and easy. The installation crew paid close attention to detail, and you can tell from the work around corners, transitions, and trim that they take pride in their craftsmanship and quality. We also appreciated how transparent they were regarding areas where our subfloor was uneven (which we knew would be a problem going into the job). They assessed the condition, explained the available options, and then corrected the subfloor so the planks could be installed the right way. Having a section of our hallway flat when it's been uneven for years has been a great bonus. It's reassuring to know a company like this exists in Concord. Fleury's is the only place I would use for flooring in the future.

Fast forward to present day and time to replace 30yr old original carpeting upstairs. Because our prior experience with Fleury's went so well, naturally we returned to them for phase 2. I started with Chris at the store to present the project and he made suggestions for makers and brands to best match the Brazilian Cherry we had downstairs. Patrick was up next with onsite inspection, measurements, and bringing over samples. A complementary (and upgraded) product was chosen and install timeline was set. Javier and Kiko were next on the scene and took only 5 days to demo carpet, prep and level subfloor, and install flooring and baseboards in 4 bedrooms and a hallway. Patrick came by a couple times to check on progress and made a great suggestion to add additional underlayment. That - combined with their tried and proven method of gluing and nailing down the floor - made for the most solid-feeling hardware floor installation I've ever encountered. I'm a pretty picky customer, so when I tell you their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and finish skills are top notch - believe it. Prices and labor these days are pretty much standard all around. But if you receive this level of workmanship and flawless results, you sleep better knowing you made the right decision. Can't say enough about my experience with Fleury's. 10/10

We had MSI Trecento XL Carrara Avell flooring installed throughout our home, and the finished flooring is absolutely beautiful. It has transformed our home, the new baseboards look great, and we are very happy with the overall result. The installation did take considerably longer than expected due to scheduling delays, the extensive floor preparation that was needed, and later an unexpected shortage of flooring material. The amount of dust generated during the work also made it necessary for us to stay in a hotel for 11 nights. What I especially appreciated was how Rudy handled the difficulties. He remained professional, listened to our concerns, apologized for the problems we experienced, and worked with us on compensation that covered much of our hotel expense. That willingness to listen and work toward a fair resolution made a big difference to us. Our advice to anyone planning a large flooring project would be to discuss scheduling, crew availability, dust containment, and material planning in detail beforehand. Renovations can have unexpected complications, but ultimately what matters is both the quality of the finished work and how a company responds when problems arise. We love our new floors and are very happy with how beautiful our home looks now.

Jonathan was an incredible person and super nice - really personable and his wife was also the most responsive person ever - always quick to answer questions and provide the quote/invoice right away as promised. I hired them to finish up flooring since I had some injuries and couldn't finish up the work and their quality and speed was phenomenal. I have an eye for attention to detail and their crew was above and beyond in how they did the flooring, going the extra mile for things that normally would be a quick shortcut for contractors hoping the customer would miss it but they didn't take any shortcuts. They were reasonably priced - not the highest or the lowest quote but Jonathan was what sold us on the work and we're more than happy to have gone with him and have recommended him to other neighbors. There's a reason why they are so backed up with work! They're popular for a good reason. They're finishing up the work today and the guys are respectful, clean up after themselves and super nice to chat with. Definitely would recommend Jonathan and his crew to anyone looking to have the best flooring done the right way. Just like their slogan says!

He was professional and followed up with me shortly thereafter, simply saying to call him if I had any additional questions. Because of Duy's professionalism and honestly, my mom and I decided to move forward with the project sooner than we had anticipated. When I finally reached out to Duy about moving forward with the project, things moved quickly and the company finished the project ON TIME. The flooring is amazing!!! Zack explained the whole…read moreinstallation and prep process to me so I understood what potential unknowns may pop up since I was replacing floors the old owners put into my condo. He also explained the difference between the two types of LVP and whether I actually needed something super thick. The two other places I obtained bids from didn't do any of this, so it was much appreciated, and I felt like I could actually make an informed decision. I ended up going with one of the colors he suggested for my floors after showing him a few things in my home that were in the color range I was interested in. For the indecisive amongst us, it was super helpful to have someone cull down the extensive options. Aguilar and his team did an amazing job despite the curveballs my condo threw out. Turned out the prior owners installed the old LVP on top of tile, multiple layers of linoleum, cement board or another layer of LVP depending on the room (landlord special?). This meant a lot more demo than planned and no ability to reuse my baseboards (well, the former owners glued those down too, so they were breaking anyway). This was communicated to me within a few hours of starting demo, and when I got home from work, Aguilar showed me the different rooms and just how badly uneven the cement was in some of the rooms. I appreciated the clear communication and explanation. Zack also got me an updated bid within 24 hours so we could move forward and stay on track. I have seen some of my neighbors' floors after they have had them done, and mine look sooooooooo good compared to theirs. The team paid so much attention to detail, even cutting a one inch piece of baseboard to fill in this weird spot in my bathroom, and going through and filling in the nail holes on the baseboards so you can't see them. I feel like I live in a completely different home now. Big plus for me living in an HOA is that they left the area outside my unit I share with neighbors tidy and cleaned up at the end of each day, and frequently vacuumed areas inside. They ended up moving all of my furniture into my living room because I decided to decamp to a hotel for the first few days in light of all the extra work needed so they wouldn't have to work around me. They put up plastic to block off the space to minimize dust, and also covered the TVs on my walls with plastic, too when working in those spaces. Mayra was also great with scheduling and working with some of the dates I needed to work around and confirming with me. Mike was also great in delivering my flooring. Also, shout out to Mike for picking up paint from me at the hotel I was staying at so they could paint my new baseboards before installation.

They even have obscure items like dark purple sparkly grout. I was blown away by how large their showroom is. They even have XL porcelain slabs. I used to say I hate tile because of the grout but they have beautiful selections. They even have a clearance section in the back left of the store. The first visit we didn't find the Schluter edge trims we needed. But they do have a much larger selection than your local hardware store. The second visit I was looking for Y shaped spacers for installing hexagon tiles. An employee asked if I needed help. He and another employee took maybe 10 minutes out of their way to help me look for the Y spacers. Super nice! Exceptional service! Their inventory online actually seems to be accurate because they asked if I had the SKU and it told them the same number available as what I saw online. I had called two other flooring stores nearby to see if they sell Y shaped spacers but they don't. Definite plus in how large their inventory and selection is. I will be going out of my way to cross the bridge to go to Floor and Decor for my next project needs.

This year, I wanted to replace the carpet throughout the house with the same. After getting several bids, it was clear that CCH was the best price BY FAR. They even worked with me and the manufacturer to get extra discounts since I would need to redo the kitchen as well to match the latest LVP version. They finished the job (~1900 sqft) in just about 4 days and they even helped move many items including disassembling my master bed, at no additional cost! The team is super respectful, and the attention to detail (while not perfect) far exceeds what I would expect given their competitive price point. I am also really impressed with Mark's responsiveness over text, providing updates and responding to concerns - including after hours! His and his team's level of customer service, again, is really top tier. For example, when his team accidentally broke a couple of ethernet cables, he offered to deduct the cost from the bill right away. And at the end of the job, he encouraged me to compile a punch list of any issues that needed to be addressed in a return visit, which should happen very soon. Despite pretty much all of the work being finished - he has not asked for the 2nd half follow up payment yet - not until they complete the punch list at the followup visit. Really commendable company! I also love the music the install team plays during their work (they are also willing to turn it off if the customer needs it quite). So I was thrilled that they were willing to send me the youtube play list. Happy to recommend this company for your next flooring needs! I may even be trying them out for a bathroom remodeling project soon via their partnered remodeling company. Fingers crossed!

Value was there, and everyone we dealt with seemed authentic, relaxed, with no "sales pitch" and no "artificial" tone. Their installers came out and did a wonderful, professional job. We couldn't be happier with the end result. I deal with a lot of home improvement vendors throughout the Bay Area because of my line of work. I'm keeping Diablo Flooring at the top of my flooring list.

Although we did not have a huge job, we chose The Floor Store in Concord for its promised good prices (and a current sale on vinyl flooring.) Now that the job is done, replacing our cracked ceramic tile kitchen floor with new vinyl flooring, we couldn't be more pleased both with the price and the results! We were treated with utmost respect and care at all times, from start to finish, no matter who we dealt with, as if this were a major job, when it really was minor, I'm sure, in the world of flooring. Starting with our salesperson, Tiffany Tapia, who bent over backwards getting us the best prices possible, advising us as to style. flooring varieties, baseboard, etc, she kept us in the loop always as to arrival and install dates. And a HUGE thank you and compliments to Angel and his installation crew (I'm sorry I don't remember the others' names) - everything was just wonderful. As a woman who is often home alone when contractors come, I can sometimes feel "concerned" with men I don't know around for hours on end... however, this time I always felt very much at ease with the polite, CLEAN and efficient crew that The Floor Store sent out via Angel and the other men. Due to a minor snafu (not their fault!) a one day job took 2 days, but Angel and crew did everything they could to manage the job as quickly but as completely as they could, staying quite late the 1st day so that they could finish early the 2nd day to continue on to their next job. But they took no shortcuts; everything has been completed to perfection! I didn't have to follow up and clean up after them; they were always very polite (no cursing and always respectful); had the right equipment and tools to do everything perfectly; just very professional, efficient craftsmen. NOT workers, craftsmen. They really knew what they were doing, making everything fit perfectly, flooring and baseboards around walls and cabinetry, even tucking the baseboards under the recessed DW in one area w/o being asked to; all this even with all the inherent problems in my old, uneven house. I would not hesitate to use The Floor Store in Concord again, so long as I have Tiffany and Angel with his crew doing the job again! Definitely recommend, without any reservations! read more

This is great place to get flooring! It took us a while to be brave enough to invest in new flooring. As retired senior citizens it is harder to spend for 'luxury' items like hardwood floors but we are SO glad that we did and that we chose The Floor Store. We were greeted by Stephanie who assisted with our choices of hardwood and carpet. She was patient, kind, and well informed about the products they sell. The lady who came to measure the carpet was so good that we ended up with only a small amount of extra carpet. The hardwood team of Ryan, Ariel, and Manuel were great. Ryan has worked for the company for 20 years. They installed living, dining and kitchen engineered hardwood. They were friendly, worked straight through the day with no breaks. They did a perfect job, cleaned up afterward, and Ariel even gave us a design idea of where and how to make the transition from hardwood to the bedroom carpet. The next phase was carpet installation by Angel. He was wonderful. He did the entire installation by himself with only a helper, briefly, to move the heavier furniture. Not only did he place the furniture exactly in the right places afterwards, he had covered furniture and mattress with plastic or throws to prevent the pieces from getting dusty from the installation process. Angel worked quietly, no radio, no breaks, and we could tell he took pride in his work. He did a walk through with us after the installation and even me with my OCD tendencies could find no area that needed to be fixed. The room was clean and bed and furniture back in place. He worked by himself into the evening to get it all done in one day including stairs. Stephanie had the good idea to have our small remnant bound and made into an area rug approx. 4x6 to use in a bedroom/office that has hardwood floors so it ties in with the rest of the carpet areas. It was a lot of money to spend for older people on a fixed income but we are so happy that we did 'go for it' and happy that we chose The Floor Store in Concord. read more

In my remodeling I needed flooring to go on top of slab in the kitchen, entry and two bathrooms. I came to The Floor Store to look and compare. I had heard about their size and selection. The sales staff were always friendly and knowledgeable with my questions and phone calls. And, in my research about flooring stores in general, it became important to me that The Floor Store employs their own installers. Along with attractive selection and pricing, this was something I wanted. I was not disappointed. Their installers were pleasant, courteous, efficient, did not make a mess, and were fully experienced and knowledgeable about the flooring I finally selected. I decided upon Mannington Adura vinyl plank flooring, only to find out there was a two-month back order on the product (at whatever flooring retailer). I couldn't wait. Robert, Genl. Mgr., who I worked with and who was familiar with my search and criteria, suggested another similar product that was available, Karndean DaVinci African Walnut vinyl plank flooring. He had a large sample showing planks put together and also had experience with and had seen several installations of this flooring. I liked what I saw and the product was available so I decided on this flooring. It is just beautiful!! I was impressed with The Floor Store's knowledge of products and installation, and also with their customer service, from the beginning of the sale through installation and then followup after the sale (by both the sales staff and the install coordinator). I hadn't expected that phone call after the job was finished. I was surprised and impressed that they took that much care with me. Customer service is so much appreciated, and sometimes just missing. I'm glad I made the decision to use The Floor Store, would use them again, and would recommend them to my clients. read more

We had a great experience with The Floor Store. Being new to the area, buying a new home and wanting to have nice flooring put in without a lot of headache and have it done in a timely manner - totally happened! Working with Stephanie on ordering our flooring made everything EASY! We picked out our floors (they can order anything for you if you don't see it in the store and get a sample) and then the home was measured, floors were ordered and were installed a week early! Mario and Miguel, our flooring guys were AWESOME!!!! They were fast, professional, picky with the tiles, did custom work in the hallway, a herringbone pattern, and we were able to be involved in the pattern lay outs before it was placed. Contractors that were working on the home while the flooring was being installed were complimentary on Miguel's hard work ethic, his talents, attention to detail and how lovely he was laying the tile. Everyone that has seen our wood tile flooring, is in aww that it is not wood and how gorgeous it is. We are tickled with our experince with The Floor Store, the excellent service from Stepanie and our awesome tile guys, Miguel and Mario!!!! I recently decided to update the linoleum floor in my bathroom. The Floor Store installed my living and dining room carpets, along with the kitchen and bathroom floor years ago. I was surprised to learn it had been 12 years since they visited my home in Concord. I am the type of customer if you show me too many choices I have difficulty making a decision and selecting a product. Reggie Brown, Floor Store Sales Consultant listened to my ultimate goal, and desire to update and brighten my bathroom. After showing me a couple of choices he introduced me to some new tile products and assisted me in deciding the appropriate baseboards and grout color to brighten my bathroom. He even came to my house to measure and show me the products I selected. I was concerned the tile would be difficult to install, cut, in my bathroom with the various corners and zig zags to the walls and the floor areas of my narrow bathroom but Andres, Floor Installer, did a spectacular job installing the tiles and my bathroom now looks spectacular. Andres has years of experience installing all types of floors and much to my surprise was the Installer who visited my home 12 years ago. My husband and I recently had our first floor 25 year old carpet and oak flooring removed and replaced by beautiful pre-engineered maple. Out experience with the staff of the Floor Store in Concord and the installers was first class from start to finish. Brett Lowder was extraordinarily helpful in our selection process (we have been looking for a year at various stores for the right color/wood!). His knowledge is deep. Once selected, Rachelle Forrest walked us through all the details of the installation process. She even drove across the Bay after work to complete all the measurements. She continued to be our point person until completion. Finally, the installation team lead by Angel Cordon with Ricardo and Gary were professional, competent, knowledgeable and great to work with for the 8 days of installation. They are craftsmen and take great pride in their work, as they should. Our floors surpassed our expectations. They are beautiful. We plan to return to the Floor Store when we are ready to select carpet for our bedroom area upstairs. Looking forward to visiting the new SF store. I give The Floor Store in Concord my highest review and, in particular, the store manager Tarik Mellali. We purchased 1800 sq ft of flooring from the Concord store for installation throughout our house. Tarik was pleasant, professional and expert in helping us select, size and plan the materials and installation. Very customer-service-oriented. Our installation had unique complexities and Tarik worked with the installers to remediate all obstacles. The installation was efficiently and professionally performed, minimizing disruption to our lives. Starting from scratch, the old floor was removed and the new floor installed throughout the house and in just four days, with all furniture undamaged and returned to correct position. A special word regarding our chosen flooring. We selected CORETec Plus, an LVT from USFloors. This product is incredible and almost indestructible. Looks and feels gorgeous, without the fragility of actual hardwood. Great for rough-and-tumble families and/or pets. Requires no transitions between rooms. The lead installer from the The Floor Store know the product very well, which allowed for optimal installation. Highest marks. read more

My husband and I recently remodeled our kitchen and bathroom. The Floor Store in Concord was our go to place for EVERYTHING. We had designed a backsplash that was very detailed both in the bathroom and in the kitchen. Sonya at The Floor Store was amazing at getting us everything we needed. Their selection is extensive, and if they do not have what you are looking for, they can get it. I wanted to work with one vendor/store for everything - so Sonya ordered everything I needed. She made everything so easy for me. We also replaced the flooring throughout the house, and, Sonya, again, was incredibly patient and helpful. It took us weeks to decide on which flooring, so we were constantly needing samples to take home. If Sonya was not there, the other sales people were also tremendously patient and helpful. The Floor Store is the place to go if you are looking for great selection, quality products and amazing customer service. This review is for the Sand and Refinish division of The Floor Store. For a very long time my husband and I had been in search of a company that could help us with our hardwood floors. We were so lucky we met David DeLima at a home show where we learned about The Floor Store's refinish division. I had no idea The Floor Store did refinishing. We made an appointment with David and he was on time and provided the estimate on the day promised. I was very impressed with the professionalism of him and his staff. We scheduled the job and were so pleased, the work was done on time and my floors look like new. My husband and I had been putting this work off for so long, only for the reason that other companies did not show the professionalism or skill level that we found with The Floor Store. I am so so happy to have found David DeLima, The Floor Store and his staff to help us with our hardwood floors. Regie was the best. I was purchasing an older home that I thought might have hardwood under the carpet in the main living area, since the rest of the house was hardwood. The Floor Store was having a huge sale that I did not want to miss out on. So I went in and talked to Regie and was able to get an estimate and put a deposit. When I knew I would be able to refinish the hardwood floors I took my new measurements and they were able to make the carpet into an area rug. This worked very well, especially since the room was an odd size. Regie took care of me though the whole process. My room looks fantastic with the new area rug cut to fit with binding to finish the edges. There was a piece left over from the area rug that would work for my hall runner so I had them finish it off with binding and it also looks fantastic. I needed 5 boxes of the same flooring I purchased from Kevin at The Floor Store in Richmond a few years ago. I called and was told Kevin now works in the Concord store, so I called there. Kevin has always been my flooring guy, starting almost 15 years ago at their branch in Pittsburg (since closed). He is so knowledgeable and takes good care of me. Kevin told me the floor was discontinued but he thought they might still have some available and that he would check and get back to me. The next day, Kevin called and let me know there was almost 1000 square feet left. I knew that I eventually would need it for 2 more rooms, I asked Kevin to give me a deal to buy 680 sf. He let me know that due to inflation, the price has actually increased quite a bit since I last purchased. But as usual, he was able to make me a great deal so I bought everything I needed to complete my house. Thank you to Kevin Llewellyn and The Floor Store!!! read more

I am writing this review for Sonya DeLima. I'd first like to say how happy I am with the amount of time and effort she put in to informing me about every detail i'd need to know. Sonya really knows her stuff, she was unlike most other sales people I'd been to because she didn't just try to sell me something, instead she listened to the Quality's I wanted in a carpet and she showed me what was best and why. She got into detail. We spoke about the stitching of the carpets to the comfort of the pad to be placed underneath. and her pricing was a plus as well. So when I moved to Brentwood I got in touch with Sonya again and this time she did my entire house, once again no disappointments what so ever my new tile floors look just like i had imagined! We had all the floors in our house replaced by the Floor Store in Concord. Vinyl tile, rug and hardwood. Sherri was the best sales associate possible. She advised us on selection and coordinated the whole process. Her attention to detail and customer service was outstanding. She worked tirelessly to make the process as easy as she possibly could. If you use this store make sure to ask for Sherri. The installer for the vinyl tile and hardwood was Ricardo Ramirez. He and his team were excellent. Their work ethic and craftsmanship was perfect. Ricardo advised us on the floor design for the hardwood layout, we could not be happier with the way our house looks now. The Floor store pricing is competitive and the selection is great. I have been dreaming of having hardwood flooring in our home for a long time... well, The Floor Store in Concord just made my dreams come true. Judy, the store rep, was so patient with me through the process of picking out the "perfect" floor... John came out and measured it so we only had a little left over which is perfect... Larry and Jason delivered the flooring to acclimate and then returned to lay it... and WOW was all I can say... it is "perfect" in every way... Larry and Jason were so professional and respectful of our home... they were hard-working and very tidy... the whole process was "perfect" from the first board to the last piece of sawdust swept up. I want to acknowledge Alex at the Concord store. Very knowledgeable and patient. We started our kitchen/family room flooring journey February 2017. The installation was good but shortly after there arose an issue with the materials (no fault of the Floor Store). Due to the manufacture's requirement of a full investigation my replacement floor took some months to be installed. I worked with Alex, Caron and Rocky (Danville store) who were very very accommodating and helpful. Because of the dedication and professionalism of these folks I decided to go ahead and have my living and dining rooms carpet replaced with laminate. It is truly beautiful! I just wanted to share that yesterday the installers finished installing my new hardwood floor. It looks amazing! They were a great crew and did such a great job. They were professional and courteous and provided me with details every step of the way. They just did a phenomenal job on the floor! I believe the lead was David. I liked how all the employees were Floor Store employees and not sub-contractors. My experience started with Tiffany who was amazing! It was so hard to decide on what I wanted and she was so patient and helpful. Everyone I dealt with was helpful and professional. 33 years ago we purchased a country cottage built in 1952. We knew there was hard wood under the carpet we installed but didn't know their condition. Dave from the Floor Store took measurements and gave us assurance that they will make the floors look like new. Carlos and Antonio, the finishers, came to our house, removed the carpet and refinished our oak flooring. Their professionalism and knowledge exceeded our expectations. My experience with the Concord Floor Store was excellent. Carlos Amaya, the salesman I first contacted by phone, was very responsive. He send me photos of vinyl planking to choose from and, after I chose color and type of flooring, sent me a detailed invoice. Because of a sale, the price was discounted. Manny and Victor, the team who came to my condo, immediately inspired confidence. They answered all my questions, removed the old tile, leveled the floor carefully, and installed the new planking efficiently. Along the way, they took careful measurements and consulted me about various installation choices. My new floor looks terrific! read more
