Worst massage experience I've ever had…read more Before the massage even started, the lady asked for payment $60 for an hour FULL BODY MASSAGE and a TIP upfront. I told her I would tip after the service instead. Right away, the experience went downhill. She told me to lay on my stomach and spent the first 15 minutes just lightly rubbing my back with almost no pressure at all. When I asked her to go harder, she suddenly became too rough and actually hurt me. I got so uncomfortable that I let out a huge sigh. I checked the clock and realized she had only been rubbing my back the entire time. Then she suddenly said another lady would take over. The second lady did better, but she also focused only on my back. My chest was starting to hurt from laying in the same position for so long, so I asked if they were going to massage my head, legs, and arms too since I paid for a FULL BODY massage M. I don't think she understood me because she only massaged my feet for a few minutes and then said, "That's it. Done." The timing was also misleading. They started touching me around 9:05 PM and finished at 9:55 PM !! not even a full hour. I was so frustrated that I just walked out. Then the first lady literally ran after me asking for a tip. I've been seeing doctors for years about my…read moreneck and shoulder pain and always get told to take massive amounts of ibuprofen, do physical therapy, and suffer. I had been getting massages, which helped a little bit, but the positive effects soon wore off after just a few hours and I was back to square one. I was a bit hesitant to try acupuncture and cupping, but called Mei for a medical massage and she recommended the combination therapy (acupuncture, massage, and cupping), which I tried and the results were literally magical. I definitely had to relax and surrender to the process, and was well rewarded for it. In one session, my pain was gone and now I'm in the process of continuing my treatment with Mei to fix the root of the problem. When I asked her how often I would need to come back, her response was, "until you are better." It is so rare to find a practitioner whose goal is to actually heal you and treat the problem. Mei has 25 years of experience and keeps up with the latest developments in medicine. I can't express my gratitude for finding a solution to what I believed/was told was a hopeless situation (unless I wanted to have surgery). I feel so much better both physically and mentally.
