I visited Londa at her Green street location this past week for the first time. I told her in advance that I had sciatica and plantar fasciitis pain but she seemed more concerned with everything but that, plus she made it known she had supplements she would like to sell me. That was a big red flag but other than that she was kind and basically professional with the acupuncture portion of my first session. My next session was to be two days later but when I woke up that morning my foot was so sore I knew I could not make my appointment so I emailed her letting her know I was going to have to cancel. My appointment was for that afternoon but because I did not cancel at least 24 hours in advance she sent me a bill at 10:18am for the session. It was like straight out of a Seinfeld episode where George got billed for a physical therapy session because he didn't cancel 24 hours in advance. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE. She puts on a good act but she is only about making money. I probably would have returned to her for at least 10 more sessions but now I will be changing to someone else so in the end she lost more than she gained. She could have just billed my insurance for the session but instead she lost a customer. I went to Londa for my first acupuncture session, and I was amazed at how I felt afterward, as well as, how thorough the first evaluation was. Londa is very knowledgeable and she came up with a great treatment plan for me. I came to her for overall stress management and not know what to do about it because it's all overwhelming. During the evaluation, she broke down the physical issues I've been experiencing and how they're all related so I have a comprehensive picture of what I need to treat and how to treat it. And she also walked me through the acupuncture session, what this point is and how it connects with your liver, spleen, etc. I was amazed how accurate her evaluation was when I felt the tension from the pins. I love going to see Londa, she always makes me feel so good and takes care of me. She is extremely gentle and very caring. I usually go do acupuncture and she does micro needling on my face as well. I've been going to Londa for acupuncture for about half a year now and I truly lover her whole body approach, we talk about nutrition and stressors and what to do about it. I have been diagnosed with an auto-immune disease, so Londa has been recommending supplements and what dietary items to avoid or to prefer for my special circumstances. She is very pleasant to be around and a good listener. At the beginning of each session she does a thorough intake; once the needles are all in place, she usually gives me a wonderfully relaxing head massage with scented oils and then some quiet time to relax before taking them back out. I always leave so relaxed, as if I'm walking on clouds (I think someone else may have written that as well, and it is so true). The night after acu I get the best sleep of the week. I've been to a spa recently, but let me tell you that this is more relaxing!!
