We reserved buddy spots at the Auburn Hills/Holly KOA and the conditions of the campground were so terrible we checked out after 1 hour. The sites do not have any type of lane which causes the lots to be soggy and muddy. I had to put my F250 into 4L to keep it from getting stuck while parking the camper. The lot was so filled with tire tracks and mud that our dogs and children would not be able to walk outside. My friend who was 8-months pregnant almost fell multiple times. We tested the water prior to hooking it up to the camper and it came out brown. The final straw was when we lost power between our 2 campers for the 5th time in 1 hour. The staff could not provide any resolutions to these issues. We did not receive the sites that we had booked: poor grounds, unsanitary water and electricity below the necessary 30 amps. I've called the campground at least 10 times, emailed once and called KOA's corporate number twice asking for a response and have never received a call back. We filed a dispute with Chase bank and the campground responded after 40 days stating that we did not meet the cancellation policy. How could we meet this policy when we wanted to stay there but could not due to the conditions of the site. I hope this review will at least save some future travelers time and energy by booking ANYWHERE else. read more

This place has come a long way in the last few years. However, it's pretty expensive and the cost of wood alone there really adds up. I liked that I could give my younger kids some freedom and still be able to see them on the structures. The pool was nice but super cold. So cold we didn't use it much because the kids lips were turning purple. We would go again but for tent camping, this place was one of the most expensive places we have been. I did the math and could have gotten an Airbnb on the lake for less. read more

No management. I've left 2 messages with Kaylee for a manager to call me back with no response. I called corporate and they said there is nothing they can do and I have to deal directly with the campground. I've sent an email as well with no reply. I wish I would have read these reviews prior to staying there. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Park is overpriced, pool was green and closed, roads are bad, sites are uneven, water not working on half the campground, staffing is short and not well trained..... Whatever money they're taking in is not being put back into the campground. We were overcharged for the number of guests in our party and I cannot get a call back to refund the difference. I guess they'd rather deal with an irate customer in person then a calm customer over the phone. read more

This place is really run down and unkempt. The staff is pleasant, so one star for that. The overall feel of the campground is sort of dumpy. It's a shame because it could be so much more. They have all the makings of a potentially great campground, but everything just looks like it needs major updating. The only thing that is newer are at the playground equipment areas. The area over by the jumping pillow is littered with empty bottles and wrappers, and the supplementary play equipment over there looks like it's from the early 80s. The zip line was never open while we were there. My biggest complaints are: 1. Most of the sites are barren, or a mix of weeds and dirt. It rained the second day of our four day stay and the site was a muddy, slippery mess the rest of the time. The mud was even oozing up through our outdoor mat. If there had been grass or heavy gravel, it would have been fine. 2. The deck was really splintered and in need of maintenance. Our son was playing on the deck (since the rest of the site was mud) and got splinters in his leg. 3. The bathhouse was filthy. One bathhouse with three showers for 125+ campsites is not enough. 4. It seemed like the general vibe of the other campers at the campground was low grade surly. No one waves or smiles as they drive through. Or maybe it was just because we are a same-sex family. Felt *very* conservative here. 5. Lastly, why in the hell would the campground staff choose To drive through the campground at 9 PM with an antique fire engine, lights and sirens blazing? I mean, kids go to bed before 9 o'clock if they are younger. This seems a bit excessive and unnecessary. If it must be done, why not do it like 10 o'clock in the morning when most people are awake including children? Common sense seems to lacking here. read more

Zero stars!!! Do not give this campground your money. It's completely disgusting and run down. They charged $100 a night for full hook-ups, which is more than a private RV resort! We requested a refund, as we refused to continue to stay there. The front desk refused to refund us the remaining 2 nights and gave us a fake email address to the manager. My son found a condom wrapper at the park, along with empty pizza boxes, cigarette butts and garbage. The pool is full of dirt, the pool deck is overgrown with weeds and lawn chairs are filthy. The arcade is closed, the roads in the park are completely tore up. Our site was nothing but sharp rocks, scattered mulch, weeds and deep ruts. It was near impossible to get level. I would stay far away from this campground. We will never be back here again. Most KOA's are clean and up to date. This one is stuck in the 1970's. My so called "pull thru" site was on a corner so I was told at check in that I would have to back in. Ok, no problem...easy enough. Our site was a flooded mess. The previous campers did not clean up this site when they left, so obviously the staff didn't either. Now on to the the cabins we were across from. Music playing loudly well into the night. Did the staff stop by and tell them to turn it down? Never did in the 2 nights we were camping. If I could rate this campground with a negative star, by all means I would have. KOA corporate needs to visit this place and make changes ASAFP, or condemn the property. Rant over...have a nice day my fellow campers!! read more

I've been RV camping for five years or so, been all over the place. We stayed at the Holly KOA this weekend, and to be honest the place is a dump. The grass was 6 inches high, the sites not level, the bathrooms dirty, the kids play ground was full of weeds. The jump houses: one was not inflated and had standing water on it, it appeared it was like that from last fall because of the rotting leaves in the water. The other two where very dirty, as was the big pillow jump. It appears the owners have just given up on the place. I went to the office on the way out to voice my opinion and found a note on the door saying they were on the grounds working. Nobody was working on the grounds and by the way the place looks nobody has in a long time. This place is giving all KOA a bad name, I will never be back. read more

I stayed at this KOA this weekend with friends. After reading a few negative reviews online, I was EXTREMELY nervous, but after a pretty great weekend, I can say those reviews aren't very accurate. When we first found the campground, I was disappointed. It is very close to I-75 and when you first pull in, it looks like a construction site off to the right. Once we got a bit further in, it was ADORABLE! They are updating the pool area so a lot of the construction mess is from that. Improvements are a must so I am able to overlook the mess. It'll go away when the work is done. At night the traffic noise is pretty noticeable. We were tent camping so the first night it did keep us up a bit. The second night, we were so tired from such a busy day, we didn't notice it much at all. :) if we come back, I would bring a fan to run at night to drown out the noise. Problem(s) solved! As I said before, once you really get inside the park, it's adorable! There are mature trees all over. The sites are pretty big and the cabins look cute. There are two play structures and both are updated. They also have a bounce house, bike rentals, outdoor bowling, a sand pit and some additional play equipment (these things cost us $5 per child for the weekend, I thought that was reasonable). The cost also includes train and wagon rides around the park. There are other activities that range from $1-$10 (the zip line is $10) but we didn't get to those this trip. The pool was clean and they are in the process of putting in pavers. Once the work is done, it looks like it will be beautiful. The locker/bathrooms by the pool were kind of scary. I think they are in the process of updating them, so I'm giving it a pass. The bathrooms and showers inside the campground were beautiful and kept VERY clean. I would suggest using those until the updates are complete. The one thing they should do is add "No Smoking" signs to the bathrooms. There was a woman smoking in the stall next to me when I had my four year old and she left ashes on the floor. Everyone that worked there was pretty pleasant. When you arrive they escort you to your site. Workers are all over throughout the day. They come by and pick up trash for you, deliver firewood, and are overall very helpful. My family had a great time here. My son wants to come back as soon as possible. The Holly State Recreation area is right next door. If you want to get more into nature there are hiking trails and fishing. read more

This place is horrible. Some sites don't even have a fire pit. Our pit is on the line for our site and the neighboring site. Sites are uneven full of ruts and holes. Making it extremely hard to safely pull in your camper. Picnic tables are rotting and falling apart. I've cleaned up cat poop every morning since I got here on Sunday it's Thursday now. There's random cats running around. Went to take a shower there are no shower curtains and the shower knob fell off. These showers are in the same building as the store and offices. They are FILTHY. The newer bathroom shower building seems to be nicer. The laundry room garbage has been full for a while. There's more broken and run down play equipment then there are good play equipment. Someone's going to get horribly hurt here. The teenage boys riding acquired pulling a garbage trailer drive through here as if it's a raceway. They went flying around the corner throwing rocks at my vehicle and when I went up to the office to speak to a manager there's never a manager in. I don't think the manager even exist. There are absolutely no activities they're only on Friday and Saturday laser tag that is listed as being available is not available. The rock wall does not work at all and they don't have harnesses for it. The zip line hasn't worked from what I was told for years now and the building for the zip line area smells as if something has died inside. The only activity that seems nicely kept is the pool. The pool area the sand could be cleaned up a little but the pool is not bad. The computer in the office keeps going down so if you're paying for anything use cash because you'll be standing there forever waiting for the machine to be rebooted. This place is way too expensive for how incredibly rundown it is. Save your money and go somewhere else. The only reason I'm giving it a one-star is because a few of the employees are really nice read more

It's not that big and there is not a lot of trees. The camp sites are small and uneven. Colors also have faded away from the playground. Would not come back ever and it looks very haunted. read more

My husband and I planned on staying here and we got to our site and our neighbors had their stuff everywhere and when we asked the staff if they could talk to them they said they would but the last time they asked our neighbors to move their stuff they tried to fight them. and they went and asked them again and it happened again. it did not feel safe or clean at all and we have been trying to get our refund because of the awful experience and still have not received it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is so awful, I'm going to write KOA corporate about it. 1. This is the first campground on the planet who straight up REJECTS mail being delivered for guests. "It's not a service we offer." And they don't mention this ANYWHERE. 2. Check-in is at 3 pm. We arrived at 2:46 and the girl at the front desk said we could check in early for $5/hr. I said... it's 14 minutes. No go. So we waited outside the gate for 14 minutes. Customer service hasn't made it this far north apparently. 3. The grounds are not kept up at all. Giant divots and holes in the dirt make getting to the big rig area (up a hill) sort of challenging. 4. Paying $85/night for one of the worst RV parks in America is laughable. You're not paying for location - you're paying for kid activities. The reasonable nightly rate for off-season at this place should be about $45/night tops. 5. The water is smells horribly of metal. It's not too far from Flint, so I'd guess they're in the water system and are still dealing with the lead issue since they still haven't finished replacing all the copper pipes. read more

We enjoyed ourselves. Lots for kids to do, jumping pillow, skate park, climbing rock, bowling, 2 parks. The hunts brothers pizza was really good. Staff was really nice. Came around one night with dog treats for all the pups. Like other places, needs some attention but overall a nice place to spend a weekend. read more

Our family of 11 rented 4 cabins - 3 deluxe with bathrooms. Upon arrival: Cabin #1 - toilet ran the entire time - turned off water supply. Cabin #2 - toilet bowl had cigarette butts in toilet, toilet paper and cigarette ashes on table. Deadbolt lock on cabin would not lock on the inside. Cabin #3 - toilet bowl had toilet paper - not cleaned or flushed. NO HOT WATER IN ANY DELUXE CABIN. Cabin #12 - good condition. This cabin did not have a bathroom, only the 3 on site had bathrooms. Housekeeping was sent but my wife and I did a much better job cleaning all cabins before the family arrived. The KOA site manager was from New York and was at this property to oversee this franchise property for the owner, one in MI and one in NY. He was pleasant but only fixed the door lock. Later a manager named Lacie dropped off a bundle of firewood for the condition of the bathroom upon arrival. In June 2019, my wife and and I stayed at KOA's in S. Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and N. Dakota. The Mt. Rushmore KOA is a Corporate owned facility and is beautiful. The other properties were very good except N. Dakota which resembled Holly, MI - not kept and no management. I find it interesting that KOA Corporate does not publish an address to voice legitimate problems in order to get some resolution; like a refund for staying at a facility that offers only a $6 bundle of firewood instead of getting the hot water fixed and having the place ready to go before we arrived. New KOA President Toby O'Rourke and CEO Pat Hittmeier (March 2018) appear to be non-interested in correcting the rip off franchise operators that hurt the brand. Although maybe they only care about the Corporate owned sites which is more than obvious from the other reviews - deal with the campground direct?? Made a reservation with the front desk over the phone and informed the staff we would be arriving after 8pm. We received our confirmation email with no further information for accessing the campsite after regular business hours. We drove to the campsite to find a gate with no after hours phone number. We waited to find staff and walked the entire front desk building looking for a way to reach staff. We left and contacted them for a refund due to them failing to mention they close after 8pm even after they were told on the phone we would be late. The next morning we called the front desk only to be told they left a packet for us with our information. We never found it or were ever informed to look for it. I've been using KOA for years but will never return. Front desk person was rude, condescending, and of no help. read more

We camped Memorial Day weekend 2017. Roughest KOA we have stayed at. We had to go home and get our own weedwacker. The grass was higher than the picnic table. Our fire pit was flooded. We asked for firewood. It took 2 hrs for them to deliver it. The roads in the campground were in very rough shape. The playground had bounce houses at it. But after looking closer my daughter noticed there was standing water in them that was green. The park seemed like it could be a really nice park if maintained better. read more

Horrible location! During our recent stay they allowed my 10-year-old daughter to buy a rubber band gun & rubber bands without adult permission. I went to the store & ask them to refund the UNUSED gun & rubber bands. I waited for at least 45 minutes for the "manager" to com. The "manager" argued with me for several minutes saying he wasn't going to refund my daughters money. He then called the police because I refused to leave until I spoke with someone up higher. They had pumpkin painting for the kids, they ran out of pumpkins. The propane fill up station was broken, when they fill up your propane it is such a strong smell of propane, the "manager" said this was normal, it is obviously not. This could easily cause a horrible explosion. The mobile pump out truck was not working. They are under staffed My best experience was with the fire truck driver, he was great with the kids. The zip line didn't have a worker at the correct hours. This location is under new management, it has gone down hill since. I used to love this location. Still waiting on a resolution from the owner. I would not recommend this location to anyone. BEWARE! read more

This place is very unkept. Grass needs mowing and a weed eater has not been used in a long time. Bathrooms need a good scrub. Laundry washers were all full of someone's laundry and the room also needs a good scrub. Most expensive KOA we have stayed at. Will not return. read more

Not impressed. Of all the campgrounds and specifically KOAs we've been to this definitely ranks near the bottom. Positives: *Convenient location and easy access to the interstate. *Plenty of stuff to do (which honestly, I think 99% of campgrounds do) *Spots relatively easy to get in to. Negatives: *Hard to see the entrance. There's a dealership next door that blocks the KOA sign. *Lots of kids working there and several speaking broken English. Campgrounds are a great job for kids but they need adult supervision. We had mass confusion at check in. The girl couldn't find our reservation, had our name wrong, and couldn't figure out what site we were at. *The cleaning was odd. It seemed like there was constantly a girl cleaning the bathrooms but I didn't think they were that clean. One night my husband was taking a shower and when he came out she was in there cleaning. Really? Also, no wet floor signs were ever put up. I know to be careful when floors are wet and most people do. Kids don't know though, and some adults don't care. They're asking for a lawsuit by not putting out signs. And guess what? If someone falls (or says they fell) on the wet floor and sues, the KOA is going to lose and be found negligent. *I felt the roads could use some smoothing. They're gravel, which is fine, it's a campground after all. However, it was very uneven and there were many very large rocks in the roads. *The "comfort station" (bathroom and showers) by the bounce pillow and inflatables is much nicer than the one up by the office but there are no hooks in the showers to hang your stuff and no shelves in the shower. Some people will say this is a positive but I think it's a negative. They had a vintage fire truck that they drive around every night after dark and gave kids rides. Cool, right? Not so fast I say. The flashlight on my iPhone is brighter than the headlights on that thing. Crowded campground over Labor Day weekend with a fire truck driving around in the dark with dim headlights is a recipe for disaster in my eyes. Not planning on coming back and wouldn't recommend. read more

We just left this campground and will not return. After having a great experience at the KOA in Port Huron last weekend, we thought this site would be as well taken care of, but it isn't. The playground equipment is in disrepair, the slushie machine wasn't working, no fries, no cheese sticks, yet all of those food and drink items were advertised. Of the 4 dump stations only one had a water line to rinse out the black water tank. The site we were on was completely uneven, and the ones next to us were just as bad. As soon as we got there we wanted to leave, but we couldn't find another campground with open spots. Our 7 year old was disappointed about the snacks bar at first, but liked the kid activities. The fire truck was a big hit, laser tag, and the bounce platform. We met some nice people who were also complaining about the condition of the campground. For as many workers, you'd think that the rather new pool deck would not have weeds growing out through the bricks. It really looks as if the kids are running the place and they don't see that the grass needs trimming or that the sites could use some leveling and gravel to maintain them. In fact, I went home and picked up our string trimmer to mow our area. The girl mowing our spot hit our new mat and shredded it up. She wasn't mowing after that, actually, no one was... the manager told me they'd 'make it right' and replace the mat. I'm hopeful that will happen. We thought that KOA would have higher standards. I wish we'd researched this place further. I do see that it has possibilities and with proper management and some landscaping, leveling, and repairs this could be a beautiful place. Grounds needed some tlc. Little stuff like weeds around the pool really annoyed us cause it's so easy to fix. The events were sweet. Here are my comments: 1. I did not understand their pricing. It's about $65/night and not comparable to other parks that cost $35. I wouldn't object to the price if there was value to be had. There is not under present management. 2. They don't let you have visitors unless they pay a fee. You have to use a code to get in the place but as mentioned by others it is often poorly maintained with ruts in the road. 3. Most of the spaces aren't level. We had to try 4 different spaces before we found one where we felt safe using and was 50 amps as requested. 4. The staff is not properly trained and any exceptions have to be approved by the "manager" who never seems to be there. The slushie machine apparently has been out of order for several years. If you're not going to repair it, kindly remove it. It just looks bad. 6. My overall impression is that this place is owned by someone who wants to squeeze the last little bit of profit from the business by charging high prices without providing a quality guest experience. This park is our last stop on our trip back to Canada from Arizona. Understandably, it isn't at its height of the season readiness - the roads are not graded and really hard to drive on - lots of bumps and potholes, etc. Given a couple more weeks and a lot of manpower this may be a nice little park! It has potential. If you're hauling a fifth wheel of any size or a big motorhome towing, you may want to check the status of the roads with the office before confirming a reservation. So bad here. We got to our site and the water spicket was broken and the picnic table. The maintenance had to come out after we went and complained about it in the office. They should had been repaired before we got there. They charged 195.00 for 3 days. For that I expected full hook up, cement slabs. No, not at all. Their store is nice and pool. I'll never come back. Where to start...Bathrooms were semi clean, good enough for a camp ground. Pool needed skimming. Skate park had screws all over the ground or sticking up on the ramps plus cracks everywhere. The slip and slide was supposed to be open from 3-5 at 4 they were still trying to clean it. When it did open the kids couldn't even slide on it. Sand lagoon is more of a trash out. Jumping pillow needed reinflated. The bounce house didn't inflate more than half way. There were no train rides as advised as it's sitting disassembled on the side of a building. You can't bring your own firewood and there's is $7 a bundle. Hope they haven't run out or you'll be waiting hours. There's no outdoor movie theatre, it's inside a building and just a small pull down screen. No movie was played during our stay. The food is gross, and way over priced. Anything that was included in our stay was broken. We payed for the rock wall, waited 2 hours because no one ever came out to help us. Then we were told the man who runs it won't come in until tomorrow. We're checking out tomorrow. Best thing they have going on is the play scape. To charge this much then to charge for the things that there is to do is absurd. Most of this stuff is held together with bubble gum and stripped screws. Clearly the money they make isn't being put in to this place. They claim to be strict on the quiet time after 11. No one patrolling, no one in the office, nothing. We ended up with a group of 12 all young 20s kids that were up until past midnight drinking, doing drugs, fowl language and someone throwing gas on their fire. I understand having a good time but seriously? I would not return nor recommend this location. You can literally stay in a hotel for cheaper. read more

Rough place. We were a little concerned when we pulled in but remained cautiously optimistic. Our young son was disappointed by the train that broke down, the nasty and dirty inflatable slide, the rickety playground by the bounce house (looked like Chernobyl) and the high speed/no headlight/50 mph "hayride" in the dark. I ordered firewood at 4:30, called to inquire as to its whereabouts at 5:45, called again at 6:30, asked an employee in a golf cart at 7 and finally got it at 7:30. Overall, not the worst ever but there sure are much better places for the same money. You've been warned. read more

This place is the worst run KOA ever. Check the ratings on any review site. They all say similar things. Trust them. We will never return. To be fair, our site was flat,spacious, and long enough and a few of the staff were very nice. (note:with that space, campers have no problems walking right through your site and there is no signage discouraging this) Knowing those key things were okay should definitely tell you how awful The rest must have been. I left several messages for the manager before we got fed up but he never bothered to get back to us. We had reserved a full hook -up but were denied that when we arrived. We were told twice a week someone would be by to empty our grey and black tanks but we had to chase down the service nearly every time because they kept forgetting us. Even that would have been forgivable if they seemed to care at ALL. They clearly do not want us back and that's fine. Plenty of other campgrounds in the area to give my money to. Their summer help is largely kids.. which wouldn't bother me at all if they seemed to want to be there. The girl i had to deal with at the front desk.. did not like her job. Even that though we could have overlooked if management had given us the time of day to even have bothered to so much as deny my simple request -instead of blowing us off. There is a bouncy pad but very near it was what i assume was the ventilation for the sewage because it smelled like it all the time near the play area. It was also unsafe as it Was a 3" pipe jutting up a few inches out Of the ground. All these things added up to the worst experience. They were very busy some weekends so i guess bad reviews dont matter for their income? I just feel it's my responsibility to warn others. read more

Sorely disappointed I got a site for one night just for some quiet time. I don't mind the fact that I was in between a camper and rv. My problem was the fact that I paid 45 dollars and there wasn't even a fire pit or a table. So for the most part I paid for a parking spot. Stay far away. Campground is dirty and poorly maintained. Workers are all foreign exchange students who speak limited English, don't understand camping with no adult in charge. Roads are washed out, sites extremely out the of level and water pressure is nil. Very high priced for this dump. Not big rig friendly whatsoever although they claim to be. read more

We stayed this past Monday-Friday at this KOA. I was a little disappointed at first, I thought the koa website made it sound funner, but its a campground not Disney. We tent camped and we were one of about 3 total tents and around 20-30 rvs. They gave us the best site, it was at least 75ft deep and set back into the trees, very secluded and nicely shaded a major plus for my 2 kids. My son (5 years old) rode the train at least once a day and if he missed the scheduled time they didn't mind getting it out again for him. He also enjoyed the outdoor bowling and the jumping pillow. All three of the above cost extra the train was $1 per ride and the other activities required an $8 bracelet that lasted one day a 2 day bracelet was $15 ( ridiculously overpriced in my opinion and the reason I did not give 5 stars). Our whole family enjoyed swimming everyday and free glowstick wagon rides at night. The pool is very nice and they are ok with floats and toys being brought in. The bathrooms were nice as well and the staff was very accommodating for the most part. There are 3 play areas 2 are newer and very close to our site the third was older and a little further but still had some neat play structures. I should mention we could hear the highway noise at night but I like white noise so I didn't mind. read more

My family stayed at the KOA in Holly mi 7/28 - 8/1. I seen all the things we could do there and thought it would be great to stay there. We stayed in the deluxe cabin. The first thing I noticed was the blinds right by the bed on the floor. Then as we started to move our stuff in noticed I the table was sticky and gross. Then looked into the bathroom and saw the tub had a "rust stain" from the hard water on it. Beds in the bunks were sticky. We went to talk to the office and eventually they came to clean it. They also tossed the broken blinds onto the deck (where they stayed the remainder of our stay). The cabin still did not feel clean so we drove 9 miles to the nearest store to buy cleaning supplies and sheets for the gross beds. The following day they said they were going to replace the blinds. That did not happen. I went to talk to the office to talk to the manager, I was told he would be back in an hour. When I came back in an hour the manager told the office girl, he was not available to help me the office girl then wrote me the email of the owners to bring up my complaints there. They just responded with we are sorry for the inconvenience and will be by to fix your blinds tomorrow. The Neighboring cabin was supposable closed due to holes in the floor, so did ours. The other cabin TV did not work and toilet ran all the time. The Bowling only has one functional ball to use. For 3 lanes. Not sure where they have this "laser tag arena." Mini Gulf need to be weed wacked and fountain was not working. The Rock wall also needed weeds to be cleared around it. Lots of weeding needed to be done all around the camp ground. Mini gulf was $5 a ball. Don't remember how much rock climbing was. Sand lagoon was a fine gravel lagoon with old playground toys and the pool was turning green. They said to be patient with their "upgrading" Since I also complained about a pile of broken concrete slabs and construction equipment at 8 PM till 9PM. They just told me not to let my kids climb on or around the construction and play at the playground. I am not stupid KOA I know that would be unsafe for my kids. Also, their playground was full of liter and there were few campers there and only 2 other kids at the playgrounds so it looked like it has been there a while and they just don't clean it up. Called corporate and they would not do anything because it is independently owned. I know that I will not be looking to stay at KOAs in the future. I would have hoped they would have had some pride in the campground's quality. I hope I can save you from making the same mistake I did. read more

Not impressed at all with this campground and will not be returning! When we checked in the store was very very dirty and the employees couldn't answer any questions not very knowledgeable. I needed to purchase toilet paper and the store didn't have any???? The restrooms by the bounce pillow were filthy and I had to call twice to get toilet paper put in the restrooms. The sights were awful not level what so ever and the grass looked like it hadn't been cut in a while. The whole campground needs a makeover! It is a Dump! Doesn't even deserve the star I gave it. read more

Pro: the location is convenient. I've been coming here off and on for 15 years. I remember it before it was owned by KOA. Con: The bathrooms. They're adequate for use to use the toilet, but doing anything else is miserable. The bathrooms have: -Limited counter space. This is made worse by the fact that the counters get wet frequently, and there are no paper towels to dry them off, so there is nowhere to put the stuff you bring with you when camping... things like backpacks, purses, towels, swim bags, etc. -Limited hanging hooks, which is especially inconvenient when showering because there is nowhere to put things like clothes, backpacks, purses, swim bags, towels, etc. -Poor ventilation, so it's humid from people taking showers or kids walking through in bathing suits and leaving the floor wet. This leaves you sticky and sweaty. -Not enough soap dispensers. -Not enough air dryers for hands -No shelf in the showers for shampoo and other toiletries -No garbage can in the showers so you're putting trash/tampons/diapers on the floor -Poor drainage in showers, so you're changing into clothes over a puddle. Hope your pants and socks don't get wet. -POOR MAINTENANCE. The staff neglects the bathrooms, so they get bad and stay that way a long time. Garbage overflows. All I can say is that I'm glad I don't have kids/diaper bags to deal with. It's hard enough with one person. read more
