Got tickets for opening night of Flip Circus at Garden State Plaza in Paramus and I took my 6 year old daughter with me. We came last year too. When you get inside they take a photo of you in front of the circus backsplash. They charge $15 for the photo should you choose to buy it. There are numerous concessions you can buy - popcorn, snow cones, hot dogs, nachos, soda and candy. Seating is great wherever you sit because it is an intimate smaller setting for a circus. They do crowd work with the closer rows. The show was good but it was like 40% filler. The best act of the night was the contortionist- absolutely incredible!!

I decided to take my granddaughters here because it was conveniently located at Cross country shopping mall under a big tent ; free parking . The tickets for general admission were under 50 each. The circus as most are now a days was only performances don't expect any animals ...I actually was surprised to see young girls performing as well seasoned older performers with weight in them.....(let be explain I had geriatric surgery over a decade ago and people under estimate those with weight. ) The couple did exceptionally well held their own ... bravo for not conforming to what society deems normal. I'll say were were entertained was it the far best circus I've been too , no bit for the price ease of access and the friendly staff whom help my girlfriend on crutches find a seat and retrieved a lost bottle for us Thank you my granddaughters had fun at reasonable price ...conception's wasn't a killer 2 large sodas pop you said the concessions for 30 b 30 bucks a large popcorn, two large sodas and a candy and later my hot dog was 8 . My grand kids left exhaust with their 15 dollar light up toys

We went to the circus on a Monday night, and it was such a fun experience! The performances were great and really kept the audience engaged. My favorite parts were the dancers and the guys flipping in the hamster wheel contraption. This really felt like a fun old-fashioned circus experience. I like that it was an actual circus tent. The show was very family-friendly but also fun for adults. The tent is small enough that even though we were in the top nose bleed sections, we had a good view. I would definitely recommend this fun circus experience!

I went to their Paramus pop up as part of yelp elite giveaway but I did end up buying extra tickets at full price. There are a few things that bothered me but overall it was a nice evening out and my kids enjoyed themselves. Some of the performances were a little ehh but most were entertaining and fun to watch. I do like that it's a smaller environment and not a mega place like msg or prudential. Costumes are beautiful and very detailed. Here are something's I hate to bring up but I'm an honest reviewer: - timing: they start very late like 20min late and then intermission is 20min so it felt like a lot of down time which is tough for kids - heavy on the product pushing all night long, they come around and stalk you for your entry photo print out and the light sabers/wands at every chance. Even before intermission they do a call out for a special moment for light wands/sabers and then proceed to call out that there are a lot of people without them in the audience and more guys come around with toys selling them and shoving them into your face. - food and concessions are expensive- the photo op in the beginning is 20 and not great quality print, 2 waters and a cotton candy was $30 and then $6 for a box of candy I needed to get because my kids were going bonkers during the long intermission - risqué - once or twice I thought the routines were a bit risqué. The roller skaters in particular, the guy rips his shirt off and while I can appreciate it, my kids which I thought this was geared for had a lot of questions as to why the performers kept taking their clothes off. Isn't a huge thing but I could do without all that. Overall it was a good experience just be prepared to shell out $ and go in with no expectations.

Once in a while their clown helped the audience stay engaged by either attempting to recreate the past acts or interacting with the audience himself!

My friend ordered 2 waters and a soda for each of us as well as truffle parm popcorn for me and fried pickles and she tried the honey thyme wings. We received one water and asked for another which we didn't receive until 10 minutes before the movie ended. The sodas were fine and the food came out fine. I asked for a refill of my popcorn which I had to keep pushing the button since it was taking awhile. I was brought plain which I barely ate and after the movie approached the wait staff who fixed it and added seasoning and packed it up in a box for me. It was quiet as usual despite it being a kids movie but there were kids running down the aisle of the theater but that was the inly disruption. I love that the Alamo has strict rules.

Finally got an excuse with the Super Mario brothers movie to come by. 'Cool' is the word when it comes for what they're going for with Alamo. It's located in the back of a shopping center with ample parking, however the decor is very nice inside. They had a headless horseman figure, a well designed lobby, clean bathrooms, and a few games for the kids. Also had a Super Mario poster kids could take pics in front of. Bar looked great too. They like their retro vibes, and the old school Mario cartoons/shows before the movie was a nice touch; saw some Godzilla stuff I might come back for too. Food was easy to order from your seat. Why only 3 stars? Service was very uneven. My food and my son's food came out immediately, however my wife's food (and a side of sauce for me) took 20min. I flagged this multiple times in the app without acknowledgement, so eventually grabbed someone only to get a boilerplate answer of 'we're working on everyone's food'. Luckily her food came independently right after, but she was starving so not a great experience. My food was cold when it came, however the boneless chicken wings were very good. Still sucked for her. My beer was also flat when it arrived, however I do t expect the world there when it comes to a theater (although if they poured it with more head it might've been fine). Lastly, my chair's back didn't recline much, which prevented me from the nap I planned to take during this movie. Could've been worse, however also could've been better. I am open to going Alamo 1 more shot, however might be just for me and friends versus a family. They really need to work on the operational back end here, as the place is cool as hell and I'd love to be a regular if they had things together.

I was initially drawn to the impressive dollhouse, but there are also so many other cool paintings, sculptures, and photographs here. The museum building itself is very bright and welcoming. Check out the courtyard, too, where there were some lawn games over the summer. We also explored the education center, which seems to have an ongoing activities for kids. In the HBO drama "The Gilded Age," the characters are keenly aware that they live in interesting times, and this establishment was featured as Mrs. Astor's home. Built for millionaire banker John Bond Trevor and his family, Glenview Mansion has been painstakingly restored by the Hudson River Museum, which is a hidden gem located in Yonkers. Guided tours are offered to six fully restored rooms (Great Hall, Sitting Room, Parlor, Dining Room, Ebony Library, and Billiard Room), which my partner and I had the pleasure of today at $20 per adult and can be purchased on their website. Since his primary residence was in NYC, this 19th-century seasonal home was used from April to December each year and sits on a 23-acre estate. The owner commuted into his office on Wall Street in New York City, about 23 miles away. Upon entering the mansion, it showcases late Victorian with the colorful tiles on the floor, the high ceilings, and the furniture and fixtures such as the Tiffany and Co. grandfather clock, a Victorian recliner chair, or the storybook tiles over the fireplace in the Great Hallway. The original home featured a wraparound balcony that could be accessed through the Sitting Room, but it was later removed in order to lower maintenance costs. Besides the mansion, the museum is a complex of galleries that present changing art exhibitions, a permanent Hudson River School collection, a planetarium, an amphitheater, and educational spaces for all ages. The staff was friendly. The interior was very well kept and organized. With great views of the Hudson River, this is a relatively short day trip, which we can recommend.

Years later, this is still not good…read more Tried this again twice after a very long time of not coming here - yep, still not too good. In comparison to other movie theaters, this one pales greatly. While they updated the theaters with modern seating(w/ tables), it's not as comfortable and clean as competitors. In all fairness, I've only been to the standard theaters, so perhaps the larger theaters are better - but it should be equal across the board. I get why they did it this way, but they probably should've just rebuilt the theater from scratch. Cross County as a whole has undergone the effort trying to look better than it once did (whether better or not is up to individual interpretation) and here we have this dated movie theater with so many better and modern theaters at other malls. Each time I came here, at least one of the beverage machines was out of order while the other one remained a mess, with sticky floors as an added bonus. I get that the general public can be inconsiderate slobs, but this is why these things should be maintained by employees. Getting a drink shouldn't be a hassle nor should there be an impromptu sticky 'minefield' to have to maneuver through while getting the drink. The theater seats weren't as comfortable as they looked like they would be and didn't feel entirely clean. While the small table was a decent innovation, it would've probably been better had all of them been adjusted, tightened, and oiled. One improvement - the employees were a little friendlier than I remember them to be. Most of them anyway. A suggestion to the theater itself is to choose when and where tickets are checked. If I check in at the front with my phone, it should be good enough - not a second time with my hands full before going into the theater. If you're concerned about those not paying, then have a better system in the front of the place. It only happened once out of the two times I was there, but it was annoying to have to get my phone back out while my hands were completely full and the employee wasn't exactly friendly about the inconvenience either. The parking lot is sizable and you should easily be able to find a spot as long as its not during the holidays. I wanted to give this place a second chance from long ago and hoped things had changed - but they haven't. It's better elsewhere. I have no intentions of giving this place a third chance unless they completely tear it down (like they should've) and start over. There's better movie theaters out there.

She gave an excellent demonstration on how to properly throw an axe, let us practice a few rounds, and provided helpful tips on positioning our arms and legs for the best results. The venue had a great drink menu with plenty of options, including non-alcoholic beer. We also loved the variety of games available Battleship was a favorite! Another fun touch was the TouchTunes music system, where we could purchase credits and play our favorite songs. We definitely took advantage of that! Only thing I didn't like is you pay for an hour but the staff started the timer before hand so we didn't get an actual hour they started the timer and then explained the rules to us and showed us how to throw it would make sense to do the tutorial and then start the timer once we are ready or once they are done explaining.
