Mon had the better guest lists (at least in our opinion) so we gave up the other tix. It's a process to get in, so nothing too surprising. The earlier you get there, the more of a chance you will sit closer. All in all, we were out by around 6:30pm. Tho they did add a game that was going to air on a another day with I believe the One Piece cast? A good experience if you are into talk shows. This was a fine experience. I'm not really a Fallon fan but the experience of watching a 'live to…read moretape' recording was pretty interested. We didn't have tickets, so we went to the gift shop at 30 rock through the 6th ave entrance to score some stand-by tickets. We arrived what I would call late, at about 11am. If you want to get these stand-by tickets I'd recommend arriving as close to 8am as you can, because every ticket is numbered and they can only fit so many people into the studio (they will always try to fill it). If I recall correctly the tickets said to come back to 30 rock at 3:15 but note - if you arrive a bit later, say 3:30, it won't effect your chances of getting in - the most you can do to increase your chances to see a show that day by walking in is to get there at 8am when they first start giving out the numbered stand-by tickets. Also, while they say you cant bring in bags, I had a smaller sized north face backpack and my friend had a large plastic bag and a small purse. If your number gets you in to see the show that day, you will pass through security like at an airport. Everything is extremely orderly and organized, the only stressful part is 'am I going to get in to see the show or did I just spend an hour and a half of my day for nothing.' My friend and I just got in under the wire, with the guy behind us being the very last person to stand-by for this day's show (there were about 56 stand-by visitors accepted that day). You will have an opportunity to use a bathroom before you sit for the filming, so don't be concerned about that. If you're a fan of TV or of Fallon you might prepare a question or two to ask him, he took a number of questions from the audience. The funniest one was 'are you going to use that entire bit you just did' because Jimmy and Drew Brees spitting pumpkin seeds went on far, far, FAR too long, about 3? minutes, which was about 2:45 longer than it needed to be. Jimmy was quick with the 'no, that's going to be edited down.'

First of all, I have loved and enjoyed the comedy of Seth Meyers for many years. Now that I've seen…read morea taping of his show I love him even more. Going to a studio taping involves a lot of standing and waiting. I found the seating process for this show to be very well organized and everyone interacted very politely with audience members. The process is simple; apply, get your confirmation code, arrive at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, and wait on line for ID and ticket check. (People will arrive earlier than the stated check in time. The earlier you arrive, the closer your seat will be to the front). You will receive a small "Seth Meyers card" after your ID and emailed ticket have been checked. Then you will continue to wait in the lobby. After a while, small groups of maybe 10-15 people are ushered up the stairs after the little card is exchanged for a ticket and a wrist band. Then one by one everyone must go through security, which is set up similar to the airport scans and metal detectors, complete with trays for your items. You must put on the wristband and show the ticket to get into the waiting room. There is plenty of seating, a water fountain, and a unisex bathroom in this room. Other shows share this space so when there is an overlap in production times the room becomes very full. Everyone is encouraged to use the bathroom or drink water before going into the studio because we are told that once in we will not be allowed out until the taping is finished. All phones must be powered off and put away. After a short wait people are called into the hallway in alphabetical order based on the letter/letters on the back of the ticket. (Two or more people arriving together get the same letter assignment and will be seated together.) Groups of 8-10 people are lined up and told to wait by the elevator that will take everyone to the floor of the studio. The hallway to the studio from the elevator is decorated with framed stills from iconic SNL sketches from the 50 years of the show. (No pictures are allowed since we were previously told to power off all phones.) The seats are well cushioned flip down seats. Similar in dimension and space to what one might find at a Broadway show. Not the most comfortable but definitely not the worst. A warm up comic said a few things and explained how the taping will proceed. The comic randomly tossed t-shirts and exited. Seth Meyers came out and thanked us for our time and also said a few jokes. He in effect did his own warm up, then he told us he will reenter in less than a minute and the show will begin. He did his opening and a Closer Look, then the taping stoped for a few minutes. He walked up the steps into the audience and said he had time to answer a few questions. What a great guy!! The taping resumed and the two guests on May 7, 2026, were Lisa Kudrow and Nicholas Braun. After the two interviews the credits rolled, then the taping was over. We were directed back to the elevators and each given a 10% off coupon to use in the gift shop upon exiting. Definitely a worthwhile experience if you are in New York City or plan to visit.

I loved Chef Robert Irvine's "Restaurant Impossible," and "Dinner Impossible" and was absolutely elated when Restaurant Impossible made over a restaurant in my county called "The Main Dish." We couldn't wait to visit the restaurant after the makeover and it was really good, especially for the small town it was located in, Meridianville, Alabama. Other chefs I enjoy are Ree Drummond, Ina Garten, and I like some of Giada De Laurnetiiis' recipes. Who can forget Food Network's sister channel, "The Cooking Channel" that airs/aired fun shows like "Bitchin Kitchen" with Nadia G., "Extra Virgin" with Debi Mazar, and my favorite, Bobby Deen's "Not My Mama's Meal." Ronnie Chieng was the host and the guest was Zoe Lister-Jones. There was a prerecorded sketch and a live green screen sketch. Ronnie Chieng even spent a few minutes answering questions after the show. He is a lot nicer than his rough comic persona represents. An excellent free experience. Always fun to get a peak behind the curtain.

By the time we arrived, the line was in two parts and we had to stand in the back half. We waited in line for about 30 min before the line started shuffling towards the entrance. One of the executive staff came out and asked who had high energy and wanted to be in a game and they selected five people and whisked them and their friends away. Other staff members confirmed our names were on the list, had us sign a waiver, and then gave us a ticket marked either A, T, W, or S. We were given a T. The next phase was going through security. That took another hour. There was only one metal detector and two persons working this station. Once through security we entered into a cramped waiting room where we had to fill out a Ask Wendy Question form. They wanted everyone to ask at least one advice question. It wasn't required but it was strongly encouraged. Finally they started seating groups. A stands for At. T stands for The. W stands for Wendy. And S stands for Show. This is the order they brought you in. Once inside it's nothing but the dj and the hype man keeping everyone hype and excited. It was like a mini party and very high energy. There were times when the camera got in the way of seeing Wendy, but there were small TVs stationed around the room so you could still see. In between segments they were playing music and hyping us up again. There was also a performance, so seeing them set that up was neat as well. overall we were there from 11:30-3:30.
