Our 3 year old daughter is a student in 3 all me morning class. She loves it and always looking forward to her attend her class. Their Coach is good and really nice, i dont know how to spell her name but ill update my review once i know how one time i forgot to take off my daughter's necklace & coach removed it (students cant wear them during class for safety) . I didnt realized and i wouldnt even know she's not wearing them til we're getting in the car and coach came running to us to give us the necklace. The gym is big and clean. So many activity area compare to other gymnastics we tried out! The parent viewing area is nice, there's 2 levels where you can choose where you would like to watch your kid. They also have ninja warrior beside gymnastic. If you're looking for gymnastic classes, come check this place out! read more

How fun was this! Came for a 3rd birthday party and wasn't quite sure what to expect especially with the littles. Large warehouse filled with all things you would see at the summer Olympics. No adults allowed on the floor but, my little and the birthday girl (both 3 and under) needed mommies so, it was nice for Mr. Coach and the women (apologies, I forgot her name) to let us on the floor with kids. They started by teaching the kids basics with LISTENING, rules, tumbling, and balance. There was even free time for the kids to do as they pleased with rock climbing, trampoline, and even obstacle courses you'd see on one of those "Warrior" shows... They were very patient with the kids and best of all the kids had so much fun! And no one got hurt. Wish they had classes like these for adults =) haha read more

My daughter is so happy at this gym! --The coaches are positive and kind. --The gym and lobby are kept consistently clean. --Kris at the front desk is great and even knows who we are! So whenever I call in to let them know my daughter will miss a class, for example when she is sick, Kris knows right away who I am from the caller ID and which class my daughter is in. My daughter had a birthday party here and it was amazing! We upgraded the package for 30 kids and they had 3 coaches there who were so great with all the kids. No adults were allowed on the floor unless they had a little one so we all got to watch from upstairs while all the kids were having a blast. At the end they had a big parachute and put my daughter in the middle and sang happy birthday. She was so thrilled and absolutely loved having her party there! The gym is air conditioned and so clean. It was the best birthday party that I ever had for her! read more

Very organized and clean gymnastics studio, and they have an incredible parent waiting/viewing area on the second floor where you can see the entire gym. The only downside and I've heard it from all the parents, is that they are slow to assess progress and correct level when you start. It's also very repetitive at that age, so if your child masters a skill they don't give them something more challenging to do. My kid was bored with the classes at the start since they started off knowing a lot of basic skills, so I took them out for a year until they aged up to a higher level where the gym paid more attention. However, the gym is really great and does have a competition program. I find the coaches to be great, friendly, and they know the kids. I believe it's family owned, but you certainly get a feel that they care about their business. The other big downside for us is they don't take credit card payments. You have to Zelle or Venmo, which is a pain. read more

My daughter loves! She does this for fun and not competitive but they treat her great!

Well I liked this place until a coach deliberately injured and traumatized my child on the first day of a beginning rec level class, while stretching of all things! This was NOT an accident, it was deliberate and intentional harm! Teacher even walked away and said nothing after injuring and making my kid cry. Will be filing charges against the teacher. Don't take your eyes of your kid in class, EVER! Don't assume the coaches are competent here. It would have been very easy to adjust what she was adjusting with words, not tearing/straining my child's quadricep and hamstring. My child was in pain for a week, and we had to go to urgent care! The only reason the teacher did that was physical intimidation and psychological manipulation of the students. There are some nice coaches, and some evil and awful ones! Office staff and facility are nice though. :-/ read more

My 4 year old loves coming to this gym! The owners treat you like family and the instructor is very good with my daughter. This location is only 4 months old, 20,000+ sq ft & very clean. We used to drive across town for gymnastics so I'm thankful this gym is just minutes from us now. The class size is very small right now so she's getting more one-on-one which is fine with me. After her 1 hour class each week my daughter is happy & exhausted and ready for lunch and a nap lol read more

I called ahead of time to ask if we can try the class before committing to the pricey registration. Online it states for the fighting ninja classes, come in for "complimentary skill evaluation." When I arrived I was charged $25. But the owner that I spoke to on the phone was not there. I paid the $25 for the "trial" and planned to address with the owner at the next class if we decided to join. Of course my son loves the gym, so we decided to join. I spoke to the owner in person at our next class and he acknowledged that although it says "complimentary" online, that has changed. So I paid $25 for the trial, $50 for the membership and $140 for the 4 week session. We will not be back. read more

My daughter lives and breathes gymnastics but I was faced with the impossible task of finding a gymnastics facility that was welcoming, clean, large enough to fit all of the children and had coaches that would actually work with the children and not be distracted. We were at Desert Gymcats and they were so unorganized. The facility would cram as many students as possible into the building, it was so loud that my daughter could barely hear what the instructor was screaming. I was getting billed for snacks & leotards we never purchased. It was standing room only for parents. I would never suggest anyone to take their children there. THEN I began reading reviews on Yelp and came across Flip For me Gymnastics. My daughter tried the class today and when we left, she and said "Mom, I had the best day EVER!" Here is why this business gets 2 stars, instead of 0: 1 star for cleanliness of gym 1 star for the gymnasts 0 stars for the owner and coaches Marianna (owner): Talks down to parents and gymnasts. She plays a good game and acts nice, but it is fake. She literally befriends some moms so she can get information about the other moms and she talks about them behind their backs. Um, you do know that you are the OWNER of the business, right? Her parent meeting are ALWAYS the same. She takes about hairstyles for the meets and owing her money. Guess what? I never owed her money, so why did I have to sit through that? Yet, her one gymnast that she rests her reputation on owes the gym thousands of dollars. Why doesn't she just have a private meeting with that family? Florin (coach): Marianna's best friend from Romania. He seems to be a good athlete and knows his stuff, as far as skills. What he doesn't know is how to communicate, praise, motivate or encourage. He is working with little girls. Coaching is more than knowing the sport; it is about getting the most from the athletes in a positive way. Lottie (coach): She is a young lady who literally looks like she sucked a lemon ALL THE TIME. She is the type who has a bad day and goes home and kicks the dog. In this metaphor the dog is a gymnast and home is the gym. For such a young person, she sure does have a huge chip on her shoulder. She should not work with kids. Lottie, guess what, the girls don't care if you work opposite hours than your husband and that you never get to see him. They don't care that you hate your job. You are getting paid. You are at work. Suck it up. You expect the girls to be robots, yet you whine and complain. What a hypocrite. They do not have enough coaches. They fired one last summer for supposedly touching some of the girls inappropriately and never replaced him. (BTW, I have no comment on the allegations. My daughter said she never had anything strange happen to her.) So, let's assume that the coaches do not like me. I am okay with that. I paid my payments on time. I fell in line with all their stupid rules. I never spoke out until they started treating my daughter in a way that I deemed incorrect. When we gave our notice, Marianna was cold, but professional, I suppose. My daughter dedicated 12-16 hours in the gym every week for two years. She felt a bond with the coaches because that is what kids do. She loved her teammates and it was a difficult decision to leave. She is getting older and wanted to try other sports out. When she said goodbye on her last day, she didn't get so much as a "see ya" from those coaches. I am disappointed that they would be so petty to a child. Shame on them. Pros: It was usually pretty clean, and the equipment was in good shape. Coach Shawna was always awesome with our daughter. She seemed to really enjoy interacting with her. The classes were age appropriate and my daughter usually loved going. Cons: Poor communication. We showed up for class one day only to find out it was not happening due to a performance that was being put on. My daughter was disappointed. When we asked why we weren't told class was canceled, they responded that "we told (forgot name) to email everyone." I did get a class credit, but it took a lengthy phone call to do so. Only one parent is allowed on the floor at a time. Being a class for 2 year olds, I didn't understand why. My husband wanted to participate with our daughter as well, and we were told he had to watch from the sides, so we switched off. Repetitive. Each week was pretty similar to the week before. So much so that by the end of the 8 week session, my daughter had lost interest and didn't even want to go anymore. Management attitude was a bit lackluster in every dealing I've had with them. Overall I might give them one more try. Now that my daughter is almost 4 I hope the classes will be less repetitive and more progressive. read more

My daughter absolutely loves this place. She started mid term and they let her make up the classes that she had missed. The time, patience, and encouragement that give these little people is amazing. It took a while for me to get comfortable with her being out of my reach for the duration of the class but the staff is wonderful and she's learned so much in such a short amount of time. Although this gym is way too far from us, the travel time is worth it. The Mantas are not just business owners, they are very hands on to the training of their gymnasts, in which my husband and I truly appreciate. What I liked about their mantra is their dedication to safety and quality. Training 4-5 times a week is a must if your gymnast wishes to be better in developing their skills. Competitive gymnastics is no joke, thus the sacrifice for lots of time dedicated for practice is necessary and essential for their safety. Those amazing routines can't be learned in 1-2 times a week. Another thing we truly appreciate is the sense of family and friendship among the gymnasts and their families. We transferred to this gym in the middle of the season and everybody took us in as if we were a part of their gym family for years. The gymnasts are all very friendly with each other and even though they compete individually, they approach each meet with so much gusto as one strong team. They are also waiting for their new gym facility to be completed, and so our family cannot wait to start going there. read more

My daughter has been at flip for me for almost four years now. She has moved her way up from recreation to team. In all our four years we have not experienced any negativity whatsoever. She has been encouraged and praised for her success. Each an every instructor she has had has been respectful, knowledgeable and supportive. This attitude is passed onto the girls, as they in turn are just as respectful to one another as they are to the instructors. They are a family. The owners care for the girls like they are there own. I'm sorry the lady in the first review had a bad experience, but it is NOT representative of Flip for Me as a whole. I am surprised about some of the reviews here. Some of them apparently have nothing to do with the facility. We have been part of Flip For Me Gymnastics for almost 2 years and we are still there. The kids have a great time every time when they go to attend the classes. What I like most is that kids learn not only gymnastics but they are been taught how to be disciplined and be respectful with the coaches and other kids. Owners are Romanians and considering Romania's background in gymnastics I am sure they know what they are doing. The gym is always clean and the staff is helpful. Kids have also attended a Parent's night out and sleepover and they had a blast! If you don't expect your kids to be spoiled and be treated like kings and queens and you would like them to learn something new, be in a safe environment, develop their physical qualities and learn sports discipline and respect than this is the place to be! read more

We attended the free baby gym class. The first time was great! My 14 month old loved it and the teacher was very interactive and nice! The second time we went, there was another class going on but plenty of space for the babies and the older kids to do their thing. They have a rule of only one parent on the floor since it is a child/parent class. My husband and I switched off- one of us would wait on the couch and the other would stay with our daughter in class (toddlers are temperamental so switching helped- just as many other parents were doing as well). The prior week when we had been given a tour, the lady who worked in the office stressed that we should bring our bags into the gym with us. This class, she came I to the gym while I (and two other parents) were sitting on the couch/benches. She said, "excuse me" to me and walked by and stood next to where I was sitting. I looked over to acknowledge her because I thought she might ask me a question...she just stared blankly at me so I looked back to the floor to watch my daughter. A minute later she says to me, "only her father can be in here. You need to go wait in the viewing room." I was taken aback because we had never been told this or where the waiting room was even located! I told her that last week we had both been in here and she stated that it was not allowed. So I let my husband know and he went out to the car. I can completely understand this rule for older kids...but this class focuses on parent/child interaction. They need to clarify themselves in this situation and type of class. She let the other parents know as well and apparently there was some sort of bad interaction between her, a parent, and the coach of the older girls team. I heard the coach say that we shouldn't complain because the class is free. I decided to leave with my daughter at that point because I would much rather pay for a fun class where we are respected than attend a free one where "rules" change from week to week and they think that free means they can walk all over parents. Unfortunately, they lost about 3 potential students who might have become enrolled once they were old enough to join the paid classes. I will be taking my child somewhere else and happily paying for classes. read more

I joined tumbling class in 2009, shortly after Flip For Me gym was opened. Our group had two wonderful coaches - performers from Le Reve show at Wynn. I really enjoyed the time spent with the group. It was difficult at times but this supposed to be a part of the game. It is expected. Learning gymnastics require perseverance, discipline and determination. Very often I stayed for open gym after morning classes on Saturdays. Two years had flown by. The tumbling classes were over. So, I kept coming for open gym working on the skills I considered important and achievable. By that time it was obvious that my martial arts activity and gymnastics have complemented each other significantly. Cross-benefits were obvious. Adrian and Mariana are great coaches who like what they do. They are very knowledgeable and always ready to help. Over the years they put a lot of sweat equity in upgrades, furnishing the studio; getting new equipment. The gym is always clean, equipment is in good shape and working. I would really recommend this gym to anyone who wants to work hard, have great environment and good coaches. read more

While a few other mothers and I were sitting across the hall watching our FOUR YEAR OLD children from a room equipped with tv screens we hear coach Shauna bellow in a very loud deep tone "I told you 4 times to get over here and pay attention" and I'm talking like shes yelling at grown men in a barroom or something absurd. Completely startled we all glance at each other wondering if that really just happened. Followed by 2 other moms I walk to the room, concerned. When i asked Coach Shauna what was wrong she told me that the girls were just not listening. I told her that if she ever has a problem with my daughter to send her out of class, that i am always in the other room and that i do not approve of her yelling at her. the other mothers also voiced their concern in which Coach Shauna replied "if you dont want your kid in my class they don't have to be" Hello?! Last I knew I payed to have my kid in this class and never once did I sign her up to be disciplined especially in that manner! After requesting to speak with the manager about the incident and them returning my call after they reviewed the tape i was informed that they cant have the class disrupted. I am not about letting my daughter be rude and I am more than proud knowing that she is a very polite and respectful little girl, but these are FOUR year old kids Coach Shauna is dealing with and if she doesnt have the patients to teach four year olds then she shouldn't be! i'm also pretty sure they are suppose to be having fun and they are not training for the olympics. Needless to say I never went back and wasted a ton of money :( Beware of this scary place. Ps the tv screens suck too, can't see a thing! read more

My daughter has been going to Flip For Me for a little over one year now. She started in recreational gymnastics classes and is now competing on team. SHE LOVES IT! I am very impressed with the coaches attitudes and devotion. It takes so much time and love to run a gym and a competition team. I also enjoy all the other parents. Everyone is encouraging and supportive. My daughter is the youngest on the team and everyone has been supportive of her. This includes the other gymnasts, coaches, and team parents. The gymnasts are learning gymnastics skills with great technique and in a safe environment. They are also learning discipline, respect, sportsmanship, and trust. Gymnastics is unsafe without discipline at all ages. They will take these lessons with them throughout life. I recommend this gym to anyone who wants great coaches and a wonderful environment. I agree that this gym is a family of coaches, gymnasts and parents. read more
