The roads are salted and cleared and we always feel comfortable driving even though we have AWD. There was law enforcement posted closer to the bottom of the mountain enforcing speed because they flagged us for going too fast, apparently so that's also great knowing they are there trying to keep people safe. Easy drive, albeit a little far from the hotel we stay at, but definitely a must visit during the winter/early spring months. This time it wasn't actively snowing, but there was a good amount higher up and it was FLUFFY snow!

By 3:50, there were no drinks, no food, no utensils, and only about 25 cups for a party of roughly 60 people. When I asked the host about drinks, she told me she planned to bring them at 4:15 PM -- meaning guests were expected to go 45 minutes without water, drinks, or food. On top of that, many of the laser tag equipment pieces were broken, and several kids received headbands that didn't match their assigned guns, making the system fail to register hits. This confused the kids and resulted in a poor playing experience across multiple rounds. The party included three rounds of laser tag and a cake cutting. The store announced cake cutting for the party next door and gathered kids for them, but never scheduled ours. At 5:05 PM, when we asked the host when our cake cutting was planned, she said she hadn't scheduled one and that they "don't always alert people." We asked to gather the kids after the last laser tag round, but were told no. They scheduled the final round at 5:20 PM, which takes about 20 minutes including prep and finish, yet still expected us to be out by 5:30 PM. The host offered an extra 10 minutes, which still made it impossible to cut the cake. The manager said he couldn't do anything and insisted we leave by 5:40 PM. The entire event felt like it was run by inexperienced staff with no coordination, no planning, and malfunctioning equipment. The manager offered $100 off a bill over $1,000 and said the GM would contact us within a day. It has now been a week, and we have received no follow‑up. Overall, this was one of the most poorly managed party experiences I've ever encountered.

That's the part I could get over. What I can't get over is how he treated the people around him. He talked to me like I wasn't a person, just an annoyance in his day. He also talked over the woman working next to him, answered for her, and bossed her around like she didn't count. If someone treats a paying customer and his own coworker like that in one short visit, I have a hard time believing I'm the only one it's happened to - in both a coworker and customer way. A climbing gym should feel welcoming. Refusing people over wrong assumptions and being condescending while you do it is going to quietly push people away. I'd really hope whoever runs this place pays attention to how customers are being treated at the front desk, because this felt like a pattern, not a bad day. My daughter is more reserved and she is never pressured to try new skill sets. Parents there are very nice as well. We definitely feel welcome here. My daughter is always looking forward to see Coach Shawn and pretend playing the activities she's learned from My Gym at home. I can see my child being there for a long time with various programs they offer for different age groups.
