Four stars is about right for this place, which in my opinion is well above average. It's tucked away in sort of a basement. We came around noon and it got pretty crowded fast. A sign of good food. This wasn't a sought-out destination for us but rather we just saw the orange table umbrellas and went to check it out. The wife and I split the BBQ chicken sandwich which was very good! We also ordered cheese curds. The place was very clean, and the wait staff were on top of their game. I also want to give a shout out to the kitchen for cranking out some very good food with great presentation. You can find great milk shakes here and from what I saw the onion rings were uniquely huge! The menu is mostly burgers with a few other items to choose from. Great burger spot on Breckenridge Main Street! The burgers were cooked to temp and were seasoned well. We enjoyed the fries and onion rings, even if the breading on the rings was a bit thick. Great place to stop by for burgers! We were fortunate enough to not have to wait at all for a table on a Saturday night which was surprising. Our waitress was awesome and came over quickly to get our orders. We started the evening with the Cheese curds which were to die for. They were perfectly crispy and the inside was nice and gooey. The dipping sauce complimented the cheese curds really well. It was so good, we ended up getting a second order for the table. For entree, I got the Flipside burger which is extremely flavorful. The combo of the onions, cheese and bacon make for a great flavor profile. It was delicious. I like the fact that the bbq sauce came on the side so you can control how much sauce is on the burger. I was way too full for dessert, but the milksakes flying by looked really good. And you can booze them up if you like which is nice. Overall, solid place for lunch or dinner. read more

I came here for a burger and left with a hankering for more Oreos! If it's busy and your party is small give the bar a look, it's open seating and can help avoid a long wait. I also ordered the one red door burger, and although it's a crowd favorite, I only thought it was just ok. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich was far more satisfying to me, had nice and crispy chicken (shocker!) and slaw and it was delectable. Now, for the part you are all waiting for, the Oreo Milkshake. I want to inject that s*** into my veins. I was tempted to get a to-go Oreo shake, but the frigid weather outside scared me. Food was great! We had a party of seven, and we were seated quickly. Our food came out fast, even with all seven of us ordering different items. Kyle, our server, was awesome and went above and beyond to rush a milkshake so we could take it to go. Inside, the restaurant was clean, had all the good Colorado vibes, and was very updated inside. Stopped in for lunch after checking out the snow sculptures and were seated right away. Ordered some drinks and food - service was good (except for the Denver bashing) and waited for our food to arrive. When my chili chees fries arrived the cheese was not fully melted and my food was "warm" instead of hot. My husbands burger and fries were fine and my daughters Mac n cheese with chicken was ok- it just really lacked salt (the chicken, sauce & noodles were bland). We also ordered a beer and 2 Dr Peppers. Total incl tip $84.95 .... Honestly disappointing. Stayed on Breck for 4 days and ate here twice. Had pretty much every burger on the menu and all were incredible, especially the smashburger and Mushroom and Swiss burger. Bad experience with service and food. Our server informed us we had to wait to order food because he was busy with five other tables. Waited about 10 minutes to place a drink order. After being there 20 minutes we ordered food. When it finally came, my chili was cold. A beer order arrived 15 minutes after ordering, it was cloudy and very different than the first one. Server told my husband to 'let it settle and he would be back. Fifteen minutes later, it didn't settle. No server to be found. We finished the meal. Server shows up. Dinner here was fine, if not a"somewhat underwhelming. I thought my wild mushroom and Swiss burger was ok. My wife was unimpressed with her impossible burger. Fries were fair; truffle fries (once we got them) didn't make much difference. The Mrs. described her Oreo shake as 'maybe the worst shake she ever had'. Toppings aren't mixed in. Literally just thrown on top. My Chef's shake tasted like an overpriced Wendy's frosty with some pretzels stuck in the top. Shouldn't a shake have whipped cream? Service seemed indifferent to have us there and even seemed to push us to get our shakes to go, I'm guessing so they could go home, as we were the only customers there even though it was 7:30. Excellent staff. I tried their world famous(!) chicken pad thai. It was very heavy, but tasty. It is more of an american version of the pad thai. It was a cozy restaurant. I would definitely go there again for the friendly staff, if not for the food. read more

My family and I stopped in Flip Side on the first evening of our vacation when we arrived in Breck. We wanted something casual and saw the normal bar food- burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc., so we figured this was perfect and it sure was! I had the Coney Island Corn Dogs and believe me when I tell you these were the BEST corn dogs I have ever had! Not your average corn dogs at all. Trust! These are 4 premium hand-battered dogs served with a 3 blend mustard sauce. I wish I had pictures but we were so hungry and excited to try our food that it slipped my mind. We also tried the truffle fries, which were very good, as well as the onion rings. The onion rings are thick cut battered so it may be a preference thing for some but we enjoyed them! There was no wait, there were plenty of tables available, the host would simply disappear for 5 mins each time he would seat a group.
