Amazing pizza place. The pizza is very good quality and the bread sticks are also amazing. Not very fast, but definitley worth the wait!

this was my first time eating here. my friend and I ordered 2 cheese pizzas to go. we asked to sit inside to eat. the team member named Evan told us we could sit out side to eat with a sarcastic remark and poor body language as if he didn't care. There were also no guests in the restaurant at the time. . I was not pleased with my service. the food was excellent. our server Evan had a terrible attitude when my friend asked for waters he slammed them on the counter and slammed the ice machine shut. Later on I asked for a small to got box from Evan. He didn't acknowledge my question however did hand me a box and when I said thank you he responded mhm and rolled his eyes. this is unacceptable I myself work I'm food service. this was unprofessional on him to do this. We are here visiting the Disney Parks and decided to order pizza after a long day! We ordered 3 16" pizzas, bread sticks and salad, we had about 6 slices left over! And the breadsticks were HUGE!! I am staying at the Grand Floridian which for the price I'd rate at 1/5 stars. I got this pizza a couple hours ago, and just ate the whole thing - cold. It was amazing. This fancy hotel has no microwaves in the room, so I had no choice. Get the cookies too! They are amazing! read more

Overall: Our second visit to this location and the excellent service brought me to doing a review. The service brought this location an easy choice to ensure a worthy star round up. Will be back. Food: 3.5 stars- Ordered thin crust MYPIE lunch menu with pepperoni, pineapple, and mozzarella cheese and a caprese di arugula and iced tea. Loved the thin crust and some of the fresh ingredients in the meals. Service: 5 stars- Alyce D. was our server on the patio. We received excellent service. She was very attentive checking on our drinks (never went empty) and even offered to go drinks when wife was wavering if she wanted a refill near end of meal. Alyce ensured everything was good and if we needed anything. Once we asked for something (e.g., extra marinara) she quickly brought it out. Environment: 3.0 stars- Nice newer restaurant with clean restrooms. This time we ate out on patio. Great little clean, outdoor area and dog friendly environment. Our dog chilled in the shade with a bone. We went before the sun shined on the tables so umbrellas weren't used. Star deduction came not from this location but next door at Gators. Not as much enjoyment as it could have been due televised games that were blaring. Hard to have a normal conversation. This brought the rating down. read more

Good pizza, my favorite thing about their pizza is the awesomely wide selection of ingredients. I love when pizzerias offer toppings like garlic (which is hard to find for some reason) or arugula (after the pizza comes out). Delivers to Bay Lake Tower and the Contemporary resort but not directly to the room. They asked me to meet the driver downstairs when I received my late night Margherita Pizza, Cheese Bread, and chocolate chip cookies. Delivery took longer then expected, but more because of the immensity of the resorts and the security lines than the actual driver. So beware if you do get a delivery because the food will be 10-15 minutes older front them having to fight their way into your Resort. The pizza was good. Not as floppy or big as typically New York pizza, but had fresh basil and the cheese was top notch. The oil on the bread was flavored and had an herby- garlic taste. Do not get the cookies. They were weird. On the nights I visited WDW, they were open until midnight. read more

Great, high quality pizza I enjoyed very much - but unfortunate fallout from using grubhub through Yelp. We were staying at a Disney hotel and wanted pizza. I use Yelp a lot for restaurant research. When I found Flippers via Yelp I opted for the order online via Grub Hub feature. I didn't have a card on file and had not used this feature before, so I put in a MasterCard that I only typically use for gas -- and due to COVID has not been used for months. Within days, my CC company alerted me of questionable activity on the card, which indeed there was. I double checked the activity and there was no activity on that card in many weeks other than for this. This is unfortunate and definitely not a reflection on Flippers, but rather an issue within either Yelp and/or Grub Hub. read more

Growing up on NY Pizza, I'm one particular picky pizza eater. And I love Flippers. It's not NYC pizza, but as close as you might come here in Central Florida. Or better. What do I mean by better? Fresh, fresh ingredients, and lots of choices. Cheese? You can pick aged mozz, fresh mozz, ricotta, provolone (sacriledge), or feta. Tomatoes come as sauce, roma, or roasted grape. Onions are raw or caramelized. Those are but a few examples (just google the menu) Their thin crust is my favorite. It's thin and crispy. My husband likes the dough-ier regular crust. While nothing fancy, there is a decent area to eat in house, with table service, or you can do take out. A side note - did you know you can freeze pizza? Every time we go, we order an extra and put it in our freezer. Individual slices are a cinch to reheat in the toaster oven, and taste like they were just made. read more

This place is so hit or miss when it comes to pizza. One time it's decent, the next it's really salty or soggy. One thing that's consistent is their burnt desserts. I tried the hog & honey rolls (they were super hard), and recently ordered cookies for the first time. Placed my order 25 minutes prior to arrival, and then had to wait for the cookies once I was there, which was no problem. I figured maybe they'd forgotten to make them. After about 10 minutes I was handed the bag of cookies which were so cold that I assume they'd been refrigerated. They were so hard and burnt that I ended up eating a few bites and throwing them away. My roommate didn't even try it after she saw how crumbly and hard they were. Maybe the sandwiches and salads are good, but otherwise it's a pass from now on. read more

After a late night football game, my family and I were looking for a place to eat. Flippers was one of the few places open, so we decided to try it. I was very skeptical going in but ended up being pleasantly surprised. The food was much better than I had expected. We got a Neapolitan style pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was wonderful. Our server did his best to make our experience as perfect as possible. The only issue I had was that the kitchen staff messed up our order several times and it took almost 45 minutes for our food to come out the way we ordered it. Our server made up for it by taking certain items off the bill and allowing us to keep the food that wasn't correct. Overall, I was very happy with my visit to Flippers. Food: great, cleanliness: bad. Pizzas, salad and pasta were great, with organic and fresh ingredients but restroom was dirty, mold around the bathroom sink and toilet needs to be brushed inside. I didn't feel safe after going to the bathroom because a dirty bathroom is an indicative of a lack of cleaning in other parts of the restaurant. read more

Told me it would be 10 minutes. 20 minutes passes, they told me it would be another 10 as they were putting my pizza in. My pizza finishes and they forgot my wings, they told me it would be another 10. Flipper's is probably one of my favorite take-out pizza places and this location does not disappoint. I ordered two pizzas through DoorDash, the pizzas were quickly delivered and were hot as if they were just out of the oven. I really appreciate this location being open during the pandemic and I thank them for doing a wonderful job, as they would any other time. read more

I ordered dinner using the Door Dash app. After I submitted the order, they called because there were out of one item. They called and asked if a replacement was item was acceptable AND included a dessert.... which was a surprise to me. This is stellar customer service in my book! Been my preffered pizza place in Windermere for a long time, never had an issue with staff and food always been good. If you want to try a different kind of pizza than cheese and pepperoni, try the Hog a honey or any of the specialty pizzas. They also have Cauliflower crust if you are doing low carb diet. read more

while on vacation it was our goal to eat outdoors for obvious reasons. We visited midday on a Thursday and had the place to ourselves (apparently 65 degrees is cold down there). Terrible in-restaurant dining experience on Saturday, Sept. 1. Waiter did not explain the specials properly, messed up our order 3 times by bringing our the wrong food and made us wait longer than we should have for our correct order. Online ordering was not any better. Placed order at 7:30pm, called at 8:49pm since our food had not arrived and was told our order number didn't exist despite having it in an email. Then was told the order was out for delivery. Food is just ok and not worth the headache of dealing with the young, unprofessional staff.
