A/C duct was dropping water on our table and us, they put a kitchen towel that smelled like cleaner on the table. Our waiter was so slow that other waiters had to step in and help us. We're almost left it took so long... we could see our waiter at the bar talking to other employees and he just wouldn't check on us. Food was fine, would have ordered more if our service wasn't awful. The music was so loud I couldn't talk across the table well. It's also frustrating that they run your card in front of you and stare at you as you chose the tip amount. I will not return there. read more

I had a couple of coworkers want to take me out for my birthday lunch and I asked what the best place was for macaroni and cheese; our shop manager said Flippers had a Ghost Pepper mac n cheese, so off we went! This place is right off 14th and Q and has ample parking - if you don't find a spot in their parking lot, there's plenty of close street parking. They have old pinball machine tables and the waitress we had was super nice and attentive, but not pushy. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla that was good and the Bernie Mac Macaroni and Cheese...it takes a lot for my tastebuds to say "HOT! HOT!" and this pasta was spicy and flavorful...I wanted to take a tub of it home! They have a spacious patio that welcomes dogs and we can't wait to go back! read more

Awesome and unique place. The hot dogs were good, waitress was attentive, decorations were on point and the drinks were strong. What more could you ask for from an almost hole in the wall tavern. My only request of this place is that they offer food other than hot dogs, and maybe test out fries. My hands-down favorite bar I have ever been to, and I have drank all over the world. The atmosphere is fun, with a pinball arcade in the back. From the fun and chill atmosphere to the yummy and reasonably priced drinks, this bar is a winner! I actually went here for the second time tonight, and both times have been great. They have an outdoor patio (dog-friendly!!!) for nicer weather, which is always a plus for me. Inside, you can play pinball in the back on vintage pinball sets, and the booth tables are made from antique games as well. Very dope! The drinks are great. I recommend the Cinnamon Toast Crunch shot (rumchata and fireball), but if you're looking for something more low-key, the beer selection is good, as are their mixed drinks. The real home run for me is that this place is not too loud. The atmosphere is fun and lively without me having to yell to have a conversation. Wow. Just. Wow. We desperately need something like this in Amarillo. Clever decor idea using the pinball game table tops as actual tables. Combined with the creativity of the menu, in both design and types of combinations, this place is just kitschy enough to be [at least close] to one of my top 5 favorite places. Obviously, the great food and outstanding service both contribute to that as well. I will continue to go back again and again, even after I work my way through the entire menu. We stumbled across this little gem looking for a craft beer hub while staying in Lubbock and we are so glad we did! Our waitress Makenzy was very knowledgeable about the selections they offered and was so upbeat and friendly. Frank's flippin' queso is a must try, we couldn't stop eating it! My husband and I split the damned dog and the hot totty and both were equally delicious. Hands down, we would definitely recommend giving this place a shot. Huge selection of hot dogs of all varieties (including vegan) with creative toppings. There is also a BYO dog menu. There are several appetizer and main meal options that are not hot dogs for people who want something different. I have only done brunch there once and it was so-so but I'll give it another try sometime. Plenty of beers on tap to suit most preferences and a nice variety of chilton's to choose from. Outstanding beer selection, excellent food (had the shrimp tacos), fantastic service and a great collection of pinball machines to play. If you are into pinball beyond just playing the machines, the bar offers a virtual "history of pinball" in photos on the walls ... as well as machines from every generation now being displayed as hanging art, as booth tables (with the playfields lit... how cool is that!), or as the bar itself.
