Very disappointing. It's a burger place primarily with more expensive burgers ($14 for just the burger - no sides) than the burgers at their Wheelhouse restaurant. Typically these restaurants have very good burgers that are worth the price. But not in this case. Medium rare wasn't an option, but we both chose pink and asked for as much pink as possible. Sadly, neither burger had any pink at all. They were way over cooked. The bun also fell apart for me, which made it annoying to eat. I opted not to finish the burger and instead eat the toppings and bun as a sandwich for some of my meal, since the burger was way too over cooked. The onion rings were good, so if we ever have to eat there again, we'll avoid the burgers. Perhaps I'd get onion rings and a milkshake instead. I definitely don't recommend the burgers unless you want one that's over cooked. It was also rivet for a restaurant where you order at the counter and don't have full wait service. They do bring your food out, but you're given a number, so it's more like a cafeteria vibe. We have no plans to return. Plenty of better options on the area and even in the same casino.

I don't know why the reviews are so low. We smelled the burgers before we even seen them. They didn't disappoint. The Rivers Sauce is delish. The burger wasn't dry. They know burgers! The fries are amazing. I also enjoy that it was past midnight and the customer service and quality was on point. I don't even gamble but I will be back for one of these burgers.

An okay burger joint and home of some really good, rich milkshakes. The burgers are average and the patty melt has been quite a dry, dry sandwich the last two times. Within Rivers casino, there is also Wheelhouse Grill and their patty melt is much better - the bread is grilled and crunchy plus the patty is more juicy. The fries are not bad if they are not salted. The thickness is between regular fries and shoestring. I typically request them without salt as I find that if you choose the flavored options (garlic and some other seasoning, I forget), they come out way too salty. If it is late night and a burger is your thing, Flipt is adequate.

Rueben was good 10.99 don't get picked with it. The cost was a dollar for what's in the pic

Now, I am going to take you on a journey just like the books Belle read so strap in. We had a 5:45 PM reservation, and even arrived a few minutes early. The hostess/employee (I don't want to assume positions) took me upstairs for a table right by the window, which will be an awesome view when the construction finishes. It was also a beautiful sight of that part of the city as-is. When I was seated, I was one of a few tables seated. It was not full or even busy at that time. Also, as we were seated, we were given waters. My friend joined me about 5-7 minutes after the reservation time. We then ordered our drinks at about 6:00/6:05 PM. From there, we waited and did not meet our waiter, who will be referred to as sweet baby angel Max from here on out, until about 6:20 PM. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees at around this time. Our orders had some modifications but nothing major. By this time, many more tables were seated upstairs and others seemingly received their alcoholic drinks and even appetizers by the time we received only our drinks around 6:30-6:40. Our drinks were big, too, which is great, but that also meant we had to drink them a little more quickly due to the time constraints with the show. We were enjoying ourselves but noticed multiple more tables receiving not only their drinks and apps but also their entrees. Once 6:55 came, we had to tell sweet baby angel Max about our predicament. I will be honest and say we suggested for our drinks to be comped at least - not only for the wait and lack of courtesy with everyone else receiving their items before us despite our arrival and reservation time, but for the fact that we would have maybe 15 minutes to eat, finish our drinks, pay, take our food back to our cars, and make curtain time. What sweet baby angel Max did next flabbered our gasts -- he said not only will our drinks be comped but our whole meal will be comped. He also helped pack our food and kept it in the back so we didn't have to worry about going back to our cars. We made sure to tip him with all we had! We are so glad we did because when we returned after the show, he had the kitchen remake the food and kept it warm for us. When you go to The Eagle, ask for sweet baby angel Max and you will not be disappointed with him, the service, or the food. Because even when they may mess up? The Eagle gets it right with their classy attitude and positive treatment of their customers. You definitely have multiple return customers just from this encounter. Thank you!!!

LOVED our dinner at this place…read more We came here for dinner while visiting Pittsburgh. The first thing that struck me was the interior decor. Very industrial and moody with an open kitchen/preparation area that adds some intrigue. I do like to see the happenings of what's going on as someone with zero attention span. Service was excellent. George was fantastic. He kept a close eye on us without being overbearing. He anticipated what we might need so we didn't spend one second waiting to order anything. The menu is not endless or overwhelming which, presumably, allows them to focus on the items that are listed. I have decision panic so it was kinda nice to have less things to choose from. They asked if there were any allergies or dietary restrictions so I mentioned my vegetarianism. George went through the menu and pointed out the vegetarian options including what seems like it is vegetarian but isn't. They had TWO vegetarian entree options and fortunately the non-mushroom one was something I probably would have ordered anyway: pesto with walnuts, arugula, and a very generous amount of grated cheese. To start, I ordered the Brussels sprouts whichc I was warned had fish sauce. This was fine but nothing that blew me away. GF, on the other hand, loved this. GF ordered the wedge which was brought to our attention as vegetarian with the bacon on the side, which was her request. We ended up sharing both, a large part of that was because hers came out first and I couldn't wait but I'm so glad because the wege was FANTASTIC. The dressing? holy fuck pure ecastasy. The wedge was more like a filet shape which was much easier to eat. Who decided on the wedge shape anyway? The lettuce was so fresh and crisp and went wonderfully with that orgasmic dressing and breadcrumbs. Back to my pasta. Also delectable. Noodles were al dente. The sauce was creamy and packed that pesto umami flavor. The walnuts were a really nice contrast in texture. Everything about it absolutely fucking slapped. GF ordered the mushroom entree which came served on a bed of barley which, don't mind if I do, had a few forkfuls to "sample" for "my review". Again, so fucking good. Because it was my birthday, George provided a dessert (yuzu maybe?) that was served inside a meringue-esque igloo, creamy perfect balance of sweet and tart custard with some berry business underneath. Wonderful. I almost forgot their spectacular cocktails! Holy shit, literally they have a CORN CHIP cocktail that I could not pass up. It comes with two massive cornchips on top of a flavored foam. When you bring the glass up to sip, the cornchips are right in front of your nose and their aroma sets the stage for the drink which was STRONG. It wasn't as corn chip forward as I expected but I understand that flavor is probaly hard to create. For my second drink, I ordered the blue one which was refreshing, light, and really good. GF ordered a spritz which was gorgeous "it was good". For second round, I picked out some uranium thing that was very cucumbery, GF says, "it was good". I just read it outloud to her. "it's true!" Fantastic meal at a great place.

Each individual restaurants (there are 5 I believe) offer everything from Mexican food, to American fare like burgers, to fried chicken, salads, fish etc. I ordered from the fried chicken stall and my food was phenomenal! My son was with us and even though there is alcohol served here all of the patrons were kind and polite. No drunken riff raff. The dining area is set up like cafeteria seating where you just grab a table anywhere and eat. There are waiters who will also bring food/drinks to you and collect your dishes after you are done. The restrooms were also clean and well maintained. This is a great family friendly place or if a group of friends wanna hang out have a few drinks and chat. I went there with a small group of families/kids after an outing at the Children's Museum; it was great to be able to walk over to an easy lunch that was better than the museum cafe. We'd probably come back just for this convenience. But I can also see how Federal Galley could have a sports bar feel when a Bucco or Steeler game is going on nearby. That said, the food was just ok. Portions were huge, but the dishes were kind of basic with a ton of sauciness/goopiness. My burrito from Mijo had a ton of chicken but not much in terms of beans and rice and no veggies or garnishes. My wife got a huevos rancheros bowl that just had mountains of sauce; it filled her up, made her very thirsty, and made a huge mess. The kids cheese burger and fries from Triple S was just fine for my daughter but, again, basic.

First, this restaurant is on the 25th floor in part of the space where the law firm K&L Gates used to be. This actually used to be their lunchroom. The lunch menu was excellent. Very well-priced and everything was quite tasty. Our service was top notch as well. Daniel (our server) was excellent, taking great care to make sure we were satisfied and had everything we needed. He deserves major kudos for taking great care of us. I will definitely be back again for lunch and dinner. Check out the pool while you're there. It's comparable to any other pool. However, it was an engineering feat, as it is located on the 25th floor as well! Kudos to Elevation for a great experience and for continuing to raise the bar for Pittsburgh's restaurant scene.

My son called and made reservations. The day came at I met him in the hotel lobby. We took the elevator up to the 25th (27th?? Can't remember) floor where the restaurant is. When we got there we were told that they weren't ready yet. We didn't even tell them we had reservations. So we waited. . . and waited. Finally my son walked over to the bar and told them that we had reservations. The bartender called a server out. She asked us if we were doing fine dining. I said that I wanted to check out the menu to see what they had. She took us to the back of the restaurant. We found out later that there was a nicer area but it was closed off. All of a sudden all of these people started coming in. It took us a minute and we realized that they were guests of the Embassy hotel. They must have been given tickets for free drinks. The bar line was long and stayed long. They were also given access to a very small snack buffet. The server that waited on us was the one and only server working the entire restaurant. She was constantly cleaning tables and checking on the snack buffet. So we had to wait ridiculous amounts of time to order, to get our food, and to even pay. I had ordered a cup of lobster and corn chowder. When I finally got it, it was barely room temperature. It tasted like it was straight out of a can. There was one tiny piece of lobster and about half a can of corn. I hadn't eaten since breakfast and was starving so I ate it. My son tried it and gave it a hard pass. As my entree I ordered shrimp tacos. There was seemed to be fresh pico on it but the shrimp was 90% breading. Not good. My son ordered the club type sandwich. It had a nice portion of meat on it and tasted ok. (That is what the one star is for.). Was very disappointed from start to finish. I won't be back. Ever.
