View from our outside table. So, peaceful.

Very chill, casual restaurant with indoor, shaded outdoor, and bar seating available. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Our service was prompt and polite. The food was good. We had a lovely first time meal here.

Great spot on Lake Norman! It was our first dinning experience here. We were happy they had clam chowder soup on a cool Memorial Day. The soup just hit the spot Service was great and attentive. For my main I got the crab topped mahi-mahi...it was crab cake on top of the mahi mahi. The fish was okay I know my expectations are high since I lived in Florida for over a decade. The plantains were very yummy. My mom had the lobster roll which was good and filling. And my dad liked his Caribbean bowl. Oh and try to sub out your rice and beans. I'll try another dish at my next visit along with their fruity drinks!

A beautiful night to have a social dinner with our car club. Our waitress was very courteous and nice moving tables around as our group became larger and larger. Our food was served quickly and our glasses was refilled continuously. We really enjoyed our visit and we will return again.

While in town visiting friends we decided to come here since they have a nice outdoor area, we came in & sat outside. Drinks to start Rum runner , tropical sunrise margarita , coco pour mango all good tasting drinks not bad on the alcohol. Appetizer, we had the Calamari, very good fried yes but it was lightly battered so not terrible, good dipping sauce would be nice if the portion was a bit bigger. Main dishes Garlic shrimp pasta, wow this was delicious, great tasting sauce good amount of shrimp & pasta. The Orange shrimp oriental salad, was very tasty, nice size salad, good tasting shrimp. Next the Mahi mahi Caribbean bowl, this was good as well, nice tasting mahi mahi. & the Island burger, also good w the sweet potato fries, fries were great. Big place, nice outdoor seating area w Great Lake views & plenty of seating inside as well. Big space inside theres games & a bar area, fun decor. Service was good & prices were reasonable, we enjoyed our food & drinks

Let's talk about Lake Norman. It was my birthday. We decided to stop in at this spot with a wonderful lake view nestled in a cove. Lauren, our server was great, she made recommendations and checked on us several times during our visit. We had the Cucumber Mojito and jalapeño margaritas to start. We followed it up with Grouper Bites(FANTASTIC) and Empanadas. The Empanadas were booming with flavor and were very authentic. I had the Coconut Shrimp Entree and she had the Grouper Sandwich(Grilled). The Grouper sandwich was perfectly seasoned and the Coconut shrimp was crispy and juicy. A must try spot on the lake.

Rachel was a great server--friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The restaurant itself has a cool tropical, beachy vibe with tiki décor and a spacious layout. The bar in the middle is a nice centerpiece, and the lake view is beautiful, especially during sunset. I even caught a great picture of the sunset during dinner on 7/31/25. For drinks, I had: * Jalapeño Margarita on the Rocks - spicy but smooth, with a sugar rim to balance the kick. It definitely gave me a nice buzz after just one glass. * Frozen Sunset Margarita - sweet and refreshing, but a little lighter on the alcohol. For food, I kept it simple and ordered two entrees: * Island Burger - This was highly recommended and did not disappoint. The rum glaze and onion ring made it unique and flavorful. * Buffalo Chicken Sandwich - Juicy and delicious. Came with crispy fries on the side, just like the burger. Both the burger and chicken sandwich were big and definitely filling, making it well worth the price. The prices are reasonable and don't break the bank, which is a plus for a lakeside restaurant with this kind of atmosphere and quality. Overall, I'll absolutely be back to try more food and drinks. Great vibes, great view, solid service, and good value for your money.

    freezed daiquiri...

came down on sunday morning thinking I was somewhere else and feeling every word the man in black let go except I didn't ever get the night of inspiration preceding, just the sorrowful feeling of seeing an adult slushie where I wanted a daiquiri on the rocks -- and it was pink to boot. probably should have asked before because Mike said he could have shakered it which begs the question of why that isn't the default mode..? but maybe it's just me waiting on a blackened caesar shrimp wrap with seasonal fries which was actually pretty good for a hodge-podge of adjectives and culinary gimmicks. so it took a little while for my victuals to come out... there's several TVs above the bar but nothing really worth watching because it's mostly sports ball and other sport balls with occasional interruptions for simulated faux socio-political outrage and my head should be pounding out of frustration but isn't yet so how about a mai tai in the interim... but it's almost the Ides of Augustus and the shrimps need a knife in the back to be historically accurate... and if we're aiming for tiki then trading crab rangoon for fries - even really good fries - would be a nice touch. parking is completely ridiculous; angle parking on the side of a hill with a non-zero chance of ending up in the water. patio seating with a good view of the lake or inside with similar views and protection from the weather. island bar without much real island feel but then you remember this isn't really a real lake either

Service, speed and ambience were great!!! Portions were absolutely massive. The food itself isn't 5 star but it definitely satisfied the lake food craving we had! Great for sharing and a big variety of drinks for the group. Shoutout Carl!

Stopped here on my annual multi summer food road trip. The view was nice. Inside felt a little chainy but no big deal. Server was very polite also. Ordered the mahi mahi with a crab cake that came with creamy slaw, yellow rice, and beans. Also got an order of the fried gator bites. I enjoyed the crab cake. The mahi was a minute or two over but seasoned nicely. The gator bites were cooked perfectly. My issue with both meals was that they were both screaming for a sauce of some kind. Crab cake came with nothing as a roulade would be great. Gator bites had basic cocktail sauce but there could have been something creative to accompany it to not taste like deep fried seafood.

So they share parking with blue parrot right next door. It's the same menu with more things added. I think their food definitely cost a bit more too. They have plenty of space inside and outside is decent too. The service was okay. Not the best. It's like they are in a rush. The food was decent. The shrimp fajitas look good but I didn't order it. I ate the salmon and shrimp, shrimp was good but salmon was overcooked and dried- they didn't ask me how I wanted it cooked and the veggies on the side was bland too. Looked like they didn't put much effort into cooking it.

We had dinner at this restaurant with family members over Labor Day weekend. My parents talked this place up and said it was some of the best fish they had ever had. They don't eat much fish so I was having my doubts. It had its good and bad parts. I'm going to go from start to finish in chronological order. Parking is TERRIBLE. The lot is made on the side of a hill so everything is slanted and VERY tight. There aren't enough spots for the traffic. Interior decor and ambiance were good. Place feels open and airy with lots of space for everyone. There are GREAT views of Lake Norman from a nice back deck and nice big windows for people eating indoors. There is also a boat dock to drive your boat up and eat at this place while out on the water. We went and spent some time on the lake side hill after dinner and it was beautiful. Perhaps the best part of the meal honestly. Servers/staff attire is much like you would expect a more laid back restaurant on the lake... Pink t-shirts black shorts and black sneakers. Overall I felt like they did a good job other than drinks needing refills. Food was accurate and when we needed something we didn't have to wait long times. Food was VERY BLAND and honestly tasted frozen. We skipped appetizers. My wife and I ordered mahi mahi - mine with Caribbean Jerk seasoning, hers topped with a crab cake. My son ending up eating most of both of our dishes lol. Hes nit picky about fish lol. Other people at our table ordered fried seafood and I thought it was better than mine. Honestly the only good thing I ate that night was the choc chip cookie dessert. Prices were very affordable... but I thought our dishes were not worth the $25 price. We've made better seafood at home for much less. Overall I liked the restaurant and would go back. There aren't too many places with this great view so that in itself has its value. But I do hope they can work on their food recipes and get more flavor in their dishes. I would like to try a steak or perhaps a burger next time (something besides fish) to see if it was just the Mahi.

The food was so full of flavor - absolutely outstanding! The service was was wonderful and the staff was super friendly. Perfect summer atmosphere. Definitely a must visit restaurant!

It was a beautiful day, and the atmosphere of sitting outside on the deck overlooking the waterfront was absolutely perfect. Relaxing views, great weather, and a laid-back vibe made for an awesome experience. The food was great too! She started with the Honey Mustard Chicken Wrap appetizer and absolutely loved that it came with a side of asparagus -- and honestly, the asparagus was delicious. The only downside was she forgot to ask for no onions on the wrap, so she only had a few bites, but that definitely wasn't the restaurant's fault. I actually took the rest home for lunch at work the next day, and it was really good. For her main meal, she ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and truly enjoyed it. I started with the wings and tried the Italian Garlic sauce -- first time I've ever seen that flavor offered anywhere -- and it was delicious! For my main course, I went with the BLT and was very happy with my choice. Overall, between the food, the service, and the waterfront atmosphere, this was a really enjoyable experience and a great place for a lunch date. We'll definitely be back.

The drinks: The two girls ordered Miami Vice and I ordered a Rum Runner. The Vices were not frozen the strawberry puree was not a puree and the pubs colada potion tasted like whip cream - had to return them they were so bad. My Rum Runner was meh at best. The Bahama Mamma wasn't much better as the mix of the drink was way off compared to the liquor. My beer was barely cold. The food: Appetizers: Fried pickles and fried Mac & Cheese bites - both delicious My blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich was delicious and was cooked to perfection. My onion rings were huge but way undercooked. My wife's buffalo chicken salad very little flavor except the chicken pieces themselves. Huge amounts of ice berg lettuce but mostly the bitter white parts. Very little other greens at all. Our friends Mahi Mahi Tacos were delicious. Service: Food and drinks were served relatively fast & our server was attentive. I did find her annoyingly over the top. She kinda ruined the whole relaxing vibe. Our total bill was $118.00 (they did not charge us for the 2 bad drinks) Overall, not worth the drive. The view of lake Norman is so-so unless you're right along the railing. We were just very underwhelmed.

I ordered the pork belly bao buns, but they missed the mark for me. Coming from NY, I'm used to bao buns being marshmallow-soft and pillowy, but these were a hard, and the pork belly itself was quite tough. Our wonderful waitress noticed I only took one bite and brought the manager over. He explained that the cut is naturally mostly fat, which I understand, but the texture just wasn't quite right because it should be tender not tough. I declined a replacement dish, and he kindly credited it on our bill, though the interaction felt a little awkward. My husband's salmon unfortunately had a very heavy mustard flavor. The spinach farrotto underneath was quite salty. Since there isn't a kids menu which is fine, my daughter ordered the burger plain, but it wasn't really a hit for her. My coconut guava Paloma was okay definitely the best part of my meal though it tasted a little artificial. The ambiance has a lot of potential, and they had live music playing. However, it was a bit too loud for the space, forcing guests to raise their voices just to speak to each other. We also noticed our table hadn't been wiped down thoroughly before we sat down. The absolute silver lining of our evening was our waitress. She was incredibly sweet, highly attentive, and took great care of us. She is truly the reason I am giving 3 stars. She mentioned that they offer a completely different menu for brunch. Because the setting is so pretty and the service was so good, we might give them another chance for brunch down the road, but we likely wouldn't return for dinner. Proof that lighting and plating can hide a lot! Captured these beautiful views last night, even though the dinner itself was a bit of a letdown.
