Excellent company! I hope I don't have another flood but if I do, I will definitely call them. My kitchen flooded and my plumber recommended calling Flood Busters. They were out here within an hour to start the drying process. The next day more fans were set up. They removed all of the kitchen cabinets that had been damaged, made sure everything was dry, and sprayed antimicrobial on the areas. There were a couple minor issues that came up after they left. Steve, the vice-president, came out to investigate. He was so great. He wanted to make sure there were no issues remaining. He personally handled everything and made sure I was fully happy. They left several fans in my house that weren't even plugged in for days and charged for moving things they didn't touch. I had the unfortunate experience of a leak in my hot water copper pipe under my home (which was built in 1947) ... hot water had been blasting out for at least a week b/f I realized it. Floor Busters showed up the day we called to clean up the mess from a cracked drainage pipe from our upstairs master bedroom bathtub and shower into a downstairs guest bedroom. They took care to ensure there was no mold and also did the testing for asbestos, cleaning and drying out the carpets, walls, etc and set up HEPA filters for several days in the room and in the hallway. They also came back a second time to disinfect and sanitize the room and the concrete foundation after the room was almost fully dry. They were very helpful and filed directly with our insurance company for reimbursement. They took away all damaged carpet underpadding and all the removed drywall, etc to ensure we didn't have to deal with it. read more

I have never written a bad review for anyone but this was the worst experience with a contractor ever! I would give a negative score if I could. They did not even "restore" the whole wall of our bathroom and it was completely covered in mold. We had to pay another company to finish the job they started. It took more time than it needed to and the process of leaving a fan in the room for an extra 2 weeks did nothing but delay the whole process. It was handled by insurance so they tried to charge double the price but did half the work. It took over 4 months to be able to move back home. Also do not go with anyone they recommend for your remodel. That guy was even worse than them. This company is a joke. Go with anyone else. read more

Jonathan and his team at San Diego Flood Busters were amazing. I had a pipe leak in the kitchen and as it turns out am having to have the whole kitchen replaced. The insurance initially sent out another company for the "damage control" but after a few days with no action I decided to call SDFB. Luckily, they also work with my insurance company. Jonathan responded quickly and was able to immediately start the drying out process, then the pack out and demo. Jonathan came by everyday, and his team even worked Saturday to get the job done. Excellent service! We actually called them on accident, thinking they were a leak detection company. But we are so glad we did! We had a leak in our slab, which came up under our kitchen island and through the tile. Jonathan and his helper (I'm so sorry I forgot his name) showed up quickly and answered all our questions.
