I am sorry for who ever got affected by hurricane Hilary and is now dealing with flood response. This company does not care about you or your property, they will lie to you in order to get the job, they take advantage of you knowing that you are desperate and vulnerable, once they're in they will do anything to take your money. They don't do anything right and they take for ever. 1st, In my case, Alex, Macias came and told us that the only thing we had to worry about was taking clothing with us for 3 weeks because it wouldn't take more than that to complete the job, 4 months later they had only managed to destroy my house and install the insulation and drywall which I had to redo. They put plastic and cured my kitchen, master bath and masted bedroom while the whole house got flooded not just one side of the house, now MOLD is coming out on the other side of my house through the drywall on many spots. I am now considering contacting the state license e board. Make sure to check the insulation because they will cheat you on that, also use a flashlight sideways on your wall before they primer or you'll be sorry, that's a secret to see the mess they make with the texture. The people at the office contact your insurance via email once per week and if the insurance doesn't reply they don't call them they will send another email a week later meanwhile your house sits standstill for weeks. The only thing they are fast at is on the first visit they will be there within a few hours with fans just to secure the job, and the second is if you get rid of them, in less than 2 weeks they send the paperwork to lien your house if you don't give them a huge amount of money. They took around $35,000 dollars and I had to redo most of the drywall and some insulation, I got everything I had to redo on video. Read the contract and don't sign without asking questions. They are used to dealing with people who don't know anything about construction work. read more

My Mom was having a leak repaired under her tile floor. The leak detection company accidentally jack hammered the air conditioning line conduit pipe and all there was an explosion of refrigerant and sand and silt all over the master bathroom and bedroom. After water leak repaired from A/C unit, two story building, I was recommended to call Flood Response and ask for Donnie Means from one of my plumbers. I live in La Quinta and my water heater had leaked causing some water damage. I received a quote of $1,400 for removal, dry, and restore. However they only completed half the job and I had already paid them. Then the repair technician referred me to the written quote which only included removal and dry. I called the company but they told me I would have to pay an additional $1,100 for the rest of the work. In hindsight I should have read the written quote first. In late 2021, Flood Response was our contractor for a major upgrade in our home. Todays incident was they made a 10:00 appointment on a Saturday (admirable) however start calling at 7:30am to come earlier. No regard for perhaps people sleeping and just start ringing the doorbell at 7:55. No regard for customers commitment. Very unabashedly selfish, as he wanted to come earlier and did not have any regard for the client. His response was "yea I know I'm supposed to be here at 10". He wasn't coming back at 10 it was only going to be what he wanted. Rude. When you're not expected until 10 and you show up without approval before 8 on a Saturday is just rude. It's their way like they are always doing you a favor. I hate arrogant companies. Did I mention that they use the customer service tactic of threatening not to come if you don't pay? Always a admirable customer service strategy. I simply said I'd prefer to pay after the job is done and they said we will not return until they are paid. Yikes. Stay away. Stay far away. Must come from the top. Another arrogant desert company who make a TV commercial and believe their own BS. Again stay away. We had been having exceedingly high water bills - Leak Detectors discovered that we had two toilets leaking and also a shower that was leaking into the wall -they contacted FLOOD RESPONSE -there was major damage-FR said it would take months (I thought they were joking) that was in February and it is now August and there is still quite a ways to go before they are finished. The leaking had been going on for months if not years and quite a few walls had to come to the rafters and floors - there was extensive mold to be removed -the drying process and demolition were major (700 photos).
