Floor and Decor, definitely one of the best place that I go to! I visited this store before and since then this is one of the main stores that I go to whenever I need some things in my house. Their customers service is very great, a big 10 out of 10. The staff were also very friendly and outgoing, loving their vibes and how they can also become very professional about their work. They are also very helpful which is a great, great thing. Helping me to look for the things that I need that I can't usually find, really. Their selections were neat, very organized and I love their tiles the best! I love everything there as it looks all neat and stuff but their tiles are the first stuff that I actually bought from there, the first time I came. Perfect products, some might be quite expensive but the quality is just unbelievable. Surprising that the things I need are always in there. I went to this location to return a product that had a missing piece. I didn't have the box because it was thrown away by the contractor. The cashier clearly saw what the problem was and called the manager Nate over to do the return. He said that he couldn't return it because he didn't have the box and couldn't resale it. I told him that he shouldn't want to resale something that was missing parts. Needless to say I'm stuck with the unusable product. read more

WOW!!! This store is FABULOUS!!! I was greeted at the front door by the nicest young man. I was immediately traded off to a sales gal, Marisol, who brought me to the tile I needed. It was the most positive shopping experience!!! The store Manager here must be doing a fantastic job!!! I started my quest at Skokie. They were closed due to the Pandemic, so I called for pricing and availability on plain white subway tile. You'd thought I was torturing the guy on the phone. The store has a good selection at reasonable prices. Recently bought tile for a bathroom. Needed grout and trim pieces too. There were two problems I had. On each occasion, Al, the store manager dealt with the problems professionally and personally. One of the problems was the store rep gave me the wrong color tube of caulking. Because the store is not open now to foot traffic, Al quickly sent me the replacement tube. He was just great. read more

This store has the worst employees. They either seem not to now anything or just dont give a crap. I've never had worse service. Order extra flooring because I mad a mistake on the calucaltion of sq footage. The website asked if I wanted to pick up the flooring on Sat or Sunday, I indicated Saturday. When I got there they said, "did we contact you to tell you it was in?", I said no the website asked which day I wanted to pick it up. They said "oh that's the website", well as someone who works in the computer applciation field, that answer fried my ass. . Then one of the workers looked it up and said that 70 boxes had been shipped on 9/8 from New Jeresey to the store. Today I get a message from the store that it will be 2-3 weeks. Calling and talking to manager is useless as others have indicated. They are unqualified and do nothing. Never will I buy another thing from this store. read more

Had a great experience today at the Chicago Addison location and it was all due to the amazing amount of assistance from Lisa T, her card says PRO specialist and that's because she is a total PRO! Home improvement jobs are not in our wheel house and after visiting many other showrooms and bathroom stores through out the day and being so discouraged at the lack of help and info we had been getting we stopped at Floor and Decor anticipating more of the same, but we were mistaken because right from the beginning with her bright smile and attitude she made the job of finding tile for our bathroom remodel so easy with great information and knowledge, it made our discouraging day so much better and helped us to feel better about the project ahead. so nice to get such wonderful help, it doesn't happen that often these days. read more

I am in the process of re-doing my bathroom so I came in the store with no idea how to buy all the material I needed. I ran into Emmanuel Joson who is an associate at the location and I could of not been happier. Emmanuel turned me into a professional in 30 minutes. Thanks to him he took me around the store, placed the tiles together, the vanity and everything I needed in under 30 minutes. I was very grateful and I was happy I ran into him. The Floor and Décor on Addison St. in Chicago will blow you away. Incredible selection and super accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful staff. I just refinished my flooring in my bedrooms, hallway and staircase and needed to install solid hardwood on my main level (we had 70's carpet, new home purchase and needed to give this part of the house a good face lift). I explained what I needed to the Pro Services Manager Levi and he prepped several options for me. I was in/out of the showroom in less than 1 hour with the floor of my dreams. Not only did Levi listen to what I needed but he was super knowledgeable about all of the different types of wood and explained how different temperatures impact certain woods. What blew me away was he even called to check in after the install to make sure I was happy. My project went super smoothly from start to finish. For such a large store that sees so many customers it was awesome to get personalized design advice and get to a personalized follow-up. It really is these small details that make the customer experience. Safe to say I will be returning here for more projects. read more

We used Floor and Decor to renovate our fireplace surround and had such a wonderful experience working with Kubra that we just went back for bathroom tile. She helped us find our vision, answered all our questions, and made the process so incredibly easy I don't know why anyone would attempt a tiling project without her! I absolutely LOVE shopping here! The entire staff is super helpful and friendly. Not like other stores where they avoid eye contact. I purchased 99% of my tile plus material from there for my five bathrooms. What I didn't get there was simply because they didn't carry it. Tara, the store manager, maintains that store in tip top shape and is very knowledgeable. I wish I could list everyone I've had the pleasure of working with there but I'm afraid to leave anyone off. I also did a lot of shopping at their Skokie location. Everyone there is a gem as well. Sargon was always extremely helpful from the first day I stepped in there. read more

We are in the process of renovating our bathroom and our contractor advised we go here to look at tiles. At first we were blindly window shopping but then Lisa asked us if we needed help and she was a massive help!!! She took the time to educate us on the different types of tiles, what she would recommend for our floor versus wall, etc. Everyone in the store is incredibly friendly and helpful particularly Lisa! We took some samples home and there is a 90 day return range so we could see the tile in our space. read more

The worst customer service that I have ever seen. I completed an online order that should have arrived within 5 to 7 days. 25 days later still not received. Trying to get assistance was impossible. Hold times were approx 35min every time I called. No one could tell me if my order was in transit or never worked on. I would never shop there again. read more

This review is for one of the managers by the name Jay. Today we walked in to buy some self leveling concrete for one of our projects, the lady at pro desk was busy with a phone call and another customer waiting so she sent us to the front register to check out saying that she will match the competitors price. When we got there the young cashier. (Tatiana) asked for the phone number as they usually do and than we asked her if she could do the price match and she said I need to see a receipt and an override from the manager ( which she was taking care of customer at return desk). She asked the manager if she can do that and manager said no without a receipt, than we asked her about the list they have to match the competitors price and she said we don't have it anymore we " got rid of it 3 days ago", but she didn't know that just a day before we bought some thin set with the price from that list. She started to ignore us me and the cashier and than I asked the cashier to look at our purchase history because we purchased this exact material a week ago but she said I can't do without the manager's override . We were waiting for her to finish with the customer, as soon as she finished she just walked way to our disbelief. I never seen so much ignorance from a manager in any kind of industry. The young cashier constantly apologized for the manager's behavior and she was able to do a price match after I went through my emails and found a receipt. I probably will never go again at this location as long as this manager is still there. The only reason I gave it two star is because the other employees were helpful and the store has pretty much everything we need for our trade. read more

This was the first store I visited on my remodeling journey. I was very impressed by the wide selection of materials available for purchase at very reasonable prices. I was helped by the manager on my first visit, and she was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. She was also not pushy, which I really appreciated. Once I decided to move forward with the remodel, I purchased my materials from this store. On my final visit I was helped by a very knowledgeable man, Daryl, who answered all of my questions related to tile, grout, etc. Daryl was very friendly and very easy to work with.
