The store has many different choices of flooring to choose from. After several weeks I went back to the store with a laminate in mind from some samples I had purchased. My heart was set. When I went to buy it, it was discontinued. I was told if I wanted it I would have to pay $450 for shipping from Florida. I didn't know I would have to pay to keep their store stocked on the items they are displaying. Overall the store has a lot of choices, but the choices are discontinued with hidden shipping fees. read more

After hearing about the amazing prices and great selection - decided to come up and see if we could get in on a few bargains. We arrived approximately 10:30 AM to find the store was not crowded. Item pricing clearly displayed above all products. 12 x 12 tiles are few and if you are looking for white tile options, look elsewhere. Although the store was not crowded however, we alwere not able to easily locate an employee for assistance. When finally we did locate someone, he was quite helpful and we settled on buying a clearance pallet of tile. It was explained that upon purchase someone would load the pallet by forklift into our truck. After making our purchase, we were surprised when we were informed that it would take approximately 30 minutes before they could load the pallet. Had there been more customers, we may have understood the reason for this delay. After enquiring as to the reason for the delay we were told the store is shorthanded currently. Anyone out there with a forklift certification looking for a place to work, it appears they could use you. It would have been nice to have known before making the purchase that there would be a 30 minute minimum delay time. Undecided if we will return for future purchases. Amazing place! So many options to choose from (it's almost overwhelming the amount of samples they have) and WAY cheaper than Lowes or Home Depot. We found glass subway tiles for about 3/4th the cost of the bigger stores. Fabulous employees too -- Leah helped us out and was friendly, knowledgable, and laidback; it was like asking a friend for her opinion on things. 6/5/18 Update CEM (Customer Experience Manager) finally calls me after a few days. He talked with the people i had a terrible experience with prior to his call back. He tells me he is willing to refund me 5 of the 6 boxes of laminate. I appreciated his willingness to listen and get back to me. Today i walked in to return the one opened package as agreed. I set the box on the counter her counter and tell her, " I need to return this box." To which she responds immediately, "we dont take any returns for these." So i respond, yes i can, i already confirmed this yesterday with your CEM. He told to come and get it taken care of. You can talk to your CEM about it." She barks at me, "Don't tell me what to do." I then just turn away and ignore her the rest of the time. When the CEM arrives he asks the front desk lady, "Did you ask for his my number? She lied about this and, says, "I did. So i tell her, NO you didnt. You didn't ask me anything. You just told me, "Dont tell me what to do!" So I just stood here playing on my phone to avoid needless confrontation waiting of for the CEM. I was going to remove my post, but in light of such lying and rude people at this place, I am surely not. At most any place, if you are caught talking to customers like this you are likely fired. Serious customer service problems! Home depot is much better at customer service. read more

Terrible shopping experience. their employees are uneducated and rude. They don't have any inventory on hand. When I went to check out there were several customers in line, one register open, and employees standing around the store chatting. When I was looking for my product I could not locate any employees to help me. They are very under staffed!! I bought 36 boxes of laminate. My professional installer went to install the flooring and it was defective and advise me to return it. Of course he opened some of the boxes because he was installing the floor!! When I went into the store I told them that some of the boxes had been opened but the product was defective and it should be refunded in full. First thing is, there was only one cashier and five other employees standing around while the line of customers grew. Then a "manager" came over and I explained the situation he said to bring the flooring to the back of the store so he could inspect it. I had a professional installer that has been doing this type of work for more than 15 years tell me this was defective and you're telling me that some high school kid is going to inspect it properly and give it a fair evaluation. I showed him texts messages and even offered to call the guy because I don't really know the situation from a professional perspective. We took the truck to the back of the warehouse to drop off the laminate and we met two other employees who came out to remove it with a fork lift. They moved it off the truck and put it on the ground. At that point, my father backed the truck up and hit the side of laminate and supposedly damaged 4 boxes. Yes, you may at first think it's my father's fault for hitting it but the laminate was in the procession of a floor and decor employee who did not properly move the product a safe distance away from the truck. They in fact lowered it behind the truck and nobody would be able to see if something was behind there. At that point, they laughed and made a joke about the situation and told me they would refund 32 out of 36 boxes because they were "damaged". When we asked to see the damaged pieces the manager brought out 2 damaged pieces out of 4 boxes. All 36 boxes should have been refunded. The reason I was returning the product in the first place was not because I decided I didn't like or I found something else it was because it was defective (the manager did test it and find that the product was defective after putting 3 pieces together) and I should have not been responsible for the 4 damaged boxes because of the negligence of your employee. I will never shop at this store again. Any future customer... beware!! read more

We ordered new floors, when we went to pick it up we met grumpy mcgrump pants. This customer service guy was speaking rude to his own co-worker. I picked up the material and turns out they didn't order it correctly. Came back and the Manager was absolutely rude. She told me to go visit the store because her employee can't do his job when someone is standing there. The store is poorly run from top to bottom. Now we are waiting 8 weeks for the pieces they never ordered. Even our flooring guy told us Floor and Decor is known for its poorly managed store and horrific customer service. Stay away! read more

Be careful when shopping for tile since they might be different size (in the same box) and then their customer service people might call you to tell you the grout size is not the same size (really?) and it's all your fault and that's why there is nothing they can do for you. I will never shop here again. read more

Working on my second home renovation project with Floor & Decor, and I have to say their store associates are amazing. Today Lydia helped me match tile, trim and grout and made sure I had everything I need to complete this project. She really seems to know what she's doing, and is incredibly friendly. A month ago my daughter and I were helped by Caleb, who was also super helpful and knowledgeable. With this level of customer service, along with a huge selection of tile and the lowest prices, this is now my go-to flooring and tile store. read more

Went in with no ideas and walked out with a solution. FRANKIE went ABOVE and beyond providing an EXCELLENT shopping experience. He was patient, knowledgeable and worked with me my whole visit. When I left, I had a full plan for my walls, flooring, backsplash, sink and trim. I also looked at counter tops for my kitchen project. I was able to solidify a plan for that too. Here is the reason NOT to buy at Floor and Decor. Because if you have a problem, there is no one that will be responsible for it. We purchased Engineered Wood flooring that is guaranteed for life, and less than a year later it was splitting and cracking. It was climatized correctly, and installed by an installer that Floor and Decor suggested. We worked (this means us calling over and over and sending pictures multiple times) with Customer Service for 6 months before getting an answer. They sent out an inspector after 4 months, and it took 2 to get an answer. That answer was that the floor was not their responsibility, and was repairable. What? How do you fix cracked wood panels? They will not stand by the warranty, and now suggested that if we dont agree, we will need to call the install company. They aren't responsible for their part in that either. In the end, we spent $2500 and will not get one cent from this company or the manufacturer to replace our floor that was one year old when it cracked. We feel it will be better next time to go to a big box store where they have their own installers, or a private installer if you know one. We will not buy from Floor and Decor again. read more

Came here in hopes of finding a beautiful and affordable flooring option after being unimpressed with the selections at our local big box hardware stores. They have tons of options in a great range of prices. I talked with Eric Carter the pro services manager and his decorator consultant Erin for almost three hours (I'm a little indecisive) as they helped me to figure out what materials and tools I would need to install porcelain tile on our concrete floors. Erin was wonderful as she helped me decide what grout would match and flow best with my desired tile. They both were so nice and interactive and made sure all my questions were answered and offered information I never would have known to ask. They did all this while being understanding as I chased my bored one year old around the area. They made this a wonderful experience and I will be sure to return for any further flooring or tile needs. read more

They have a good selection of flooring, unfortunately, terrible customer service. I waited 45 min standing by the entrance door for a sales person to check on one of the five tiles I had to order. After complaining about the wait, a manager came to help, another hour. I knew exactly what I needed and had the square footage needed per item. Was told I would get it in 3 weeks, after waiting 4 weeks I called them. They told me they were ready to deliver. Didn't bother to call me. Once I finally had the tiles delivered, one of them, was the wrong quantity, by a lot. When I called to question, I was rudely treated by a guy named Austin, and when I asked for a manager, of course he wasn't available. I gave up, but since I needed the rest of the tile, I went online, found it in the Riverdale store. Received amazing customer service from Riverdale, and picked my tile up the next day. Didn't have to wai 3-4 more weeks like I was told by the incompetent people that work in the Draper store. Will continue to use them for selection, but will NEVER place another order with this location. read more

Floor and Decor is for sure a MUST place to go if you're building a home, remodeling or whatever other projects you've got going on. Save your self lots of time and money as they have pretty much everything for a great price. For example... I needed some 12x12 marble tiles and I found one that I liked at Deltile for about $10/sq ft. THE EXACT SAME TILE I found at floor and decor for $4.79/sq ft. Their employees are very helpful, knowledgeable, polite, friendly and they make it very easy to shop there. I especially really liked OLIVIA!!! She went above and beyond to help me the last 2 times I was there as I finally decided on my boys bathroom tile. Very caring, kind and helpful. THANK YOU OLIVIA!!! For me personally there's no need to go in 10 different stores to find what I need. Floor and Decore has pretty much anything at a great price. read more

I ordered some laminate and was trying to do it over the phone. I had to call customer service which didn't work the first time it just hung up on me. The next day I called customer service to place the order they told me they can't place the order if I want someone else to pick it up. So I need to place the order online. I tried that but it wouldn't let me put someone else's name in for pick up so I placed the order and called customer service they told me they couldn't help me and to call the store. So I called the store and finally was able to put someone else's name on it and then called customer service to add some things to the order that I was told I couldn't do from the site and they were able to add the name one the stuff I special ordered but I had to do the run around on the first order. I spent a good hour back and forth trying to just order some flooring. read more

I was 5 days past the 90 day return date that I didn't know about and so I was not allowed to return 7 pieces of tile. At a total value of about $50, Floor and Decor has lost a customer for life. In October of 2016 we purchased 15 boxes of the AquaGuard Premium Laminate Flooring with the Expresso finish. The floor was finished in November and the following day we noticed some of the planks had an unusual filmy finish which under certain light looked like cheap plastic rather than the advertised "looks and feels like real hardwood". On December 14, 2016 we sent the first of 3 emails to Floor and Decors Customer Service (Ticket numbers: 219198, 217710 and ticket 225390). We waited a couple of weeks but NEVER received a reply to our concerns. To this day F&D has not acknowledged nor apologized for the horrible customer service. We then went to F&D's Draper, UT store and asked for the store manager. He did listen attentively to our complaint and agreed to help us find satisfaction but unfortunately we got kicked back to customer service. The person who contacted us had little or no product knowledge and zero compassion for our dilemma.. We were sent a claim form which we filled out and returned. After a month of emails we were eventually offered a couple of boxes of laminate if we would sign a release form but they refused to pay to have the bad product removed and reinstalled. They said the warranty which is printed in a small light gray font on the advertising piece enclosed with the laminate that the customer is responsible to inspect the product prior to installation. That would actually make sense normally but does not apply to our situation. In our case you cannot tell good planks from bad in sunlight nor at many angles of light and you cannot see the defect until the bad planks are viewed in relation to the adjoining planks. In all our dealings with F&D they never admitted nor acknowledged that they have a severe quality control problem. Had F&D had the courtesy to visit and inspect our problem, this would have been obvious .Please see the attached 2 photos to see how defective the bad planks are. F&D has a great section of products, are very helpful selecting the right product for a particular application but if something goes wrong you will experience horrible customer service. In the future we'll buy from a dealer who cares about the customer. read more

I had the worst shopping experience today at this place. The employees are uneducated and rude and very unprofessional, In the last few days I spend over $3000.00 in this store on hard wood flooring and took my friend with me yesterday and he spend $2000.00 in the store on flooring also. They had some material on clearance and the cashier was charging me the regular price and I mentioned it to him so he had to call a manager to override the price which is okay if cashier doesn't have the authority to do it himself but when the manager came he was so rude and was arguing about the price and I told him go look at the big clearance sign by the items. ( his name is Caleb) after this I went to talk to his manager (Leah Campbell) and she just acted like it is all my fault and didn't even care that their employee is being rude and unprofessional. In my opinion these people are not fit to be in these positions. The company should think twice before hiring these unprofessional workers. There is always a big line and only one cashier working. I will not go back to this company and will let all my friends and relatives know about their rude employees and unprofessional customer service. read more

Selection is good, sales guy nice as could be. Problem came during pickup. One box of flooring I received was chipped and I pointed this out to the 'manager'. It was not severe damage but damaged nonetheless. The manager tried to tell me that it was just fine and that once installed it would not show or matter. He then proceeded to throw a temper tantrum...literally threw the flooring out of my truck onto the asphalt. Crazy thing is if the flooring was really ok he would have taken it back and just resold it. In fact, he could have just given me a chance to respond and I probably would have kept it. But instead he acted like a condescending jackass, turning what started as a great experience into one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. If you need help planning out your colors and textures Bridget is definately your go to person at Floor and Decor! I combed the store looking for just the right flooring, backsplash, and fireplace surround that would all compliment existing cabinets. I quickly got discouraged because I have little experience in this but I love a job to be done well. This is where it gets good! I ran into Bridget. She dropped everything and before I knew it she had asked me questions enough to figure out my style and led me to flooring, tile, backsplash, fireplace surround, countertops, grout colors, and paint suggestions! It all looked beautiful together and the best part... she listened and found what I would love!! Thank you Bridget for making a huge decorating headache disappear.
