Fantastic service with Victor. He asked if I needed help. I didnt think I did, but decided to run my thoughts and tell him what I was doing. Glad I did! He made the whole process quick and efficient. He made sure I had all the right materials. Took me directly to the grout, trim, and ensured I had everything and why he made the recommendations for each product. He was patient, rang me up and directed me to where people would load for me. Very impressed with his attention to detail and listening skills. What's wrong with these people!! Such a wide variety of floors and tiles that is amazing but when it comes to delivery/ shipping and warehouse they are messed up!! Very disappointed with that department as my order was messed up twice. The design department is very knowledgeable and helpful so are some of the staff members on the floor. I would like to praise a manager at this store. His name is Bryant. He was working on the floor while we asked him some questions. He took it upon himself to move very heavy and large tile boxes around for us and answer all the questions we had. We didn't know he was the manager and were under the impression that he was one of the regular employees. We showed some concern regarding him moving all the heavy tiles by himself, but he was more than happy to help us and get our order going. We are really impressed by his work and the amount of work that he put on to go above and beyond his duty to help the customers out. After we asked to let his manager know how nice and helpful he was, only then he told us that he is the manager. Definitely ask for him when you go there. He is very knowledgable as well. Yesterday my husband and I traveled from Gilroy to this store because we needed porcelain tiles for around our fireplace for a 'room refresh'. We were hoping to find a peel and stick rock facade as their website said they had a selection in their show room but come to find out they do not have any in store! However, this place has the biggest selection of tiles and stonework that I have ever seen! Different, rustic, unusual, beautiful and colorful product galore. Why I'm really giving this place 5 stars is the service. Specifically the employee who helped us was Andy. He listened to what we were doing, explained the options helped us with options and answered all of our questions. He walked us around the showroom, which is HUGE, helping us and explaining what we would need and helping us choose them. He was patient, friendly and knowledgeable. We are looking to do a bathroom remodel and went into the store looking for floor and wall tiles. The customer service was EXCELLENT. We were attended to by Ysidro Duran. The tiles we first liked for our shower stall floor were not in stock and looking at our color and shape preference, Ysidro showed us multiple other options. The one we finally chose was one that we liked better than our original choice. He helped check that the bathroom floor and shower wall tiles were in stock and was with us to choose the appropriate grout color as well. Finally, he helped us pick the wood flooring for the closet and told us about the edging profile that we might need along with the various color choices. The shopping experience was super relaxed, the salesperson was not at all pushy and we got all the flooring and wall tiles we needed in less than 2 hours after having been to several other shops and showrooms in San Jose and surrounding areas over a few weeks. As an added bonus even the checkout cashier was very nice and some of the material we've ordered has been held at the store for our contractor to pick up. I tried their water proof laminate (aqua guard) and while it makes solid first impression, the click connections are poorly designed. It can not be disconnected later (it breaks easily), that makes it single use thing in case you need to readjust anything. So i decided to return what i bought and use different brand of flooring. They don't allow you to rate products on their website and read reviews, this is a bad practice. A lot of the products they sell are their own brands, so it would be hard to find reviews elsewhere. read more

My husband and I walked around the store for a couple of hours and saw many beautiful bathroom tiles. We knew the basic colors and style that we wanted but needed help finding some tiles to spruce up the basic colors that we had selected. We asked Jeanette for help and OMG she was so helpful. Jeanette explained the different family tiles and helped us to select tiles that would go together as well as something decorative so that our bathroom would have a pleasant focal point. She told us if we came back tomorrow she would help us design our other bathroom. Not only did she help design, she gave us a printout of the tiles we selected and the grout to use so that our contractor could order what we need. I am so happy that we found Jeanette. One of the worst floor and decor locations I have ever been to. I came early in the morning hoping they would be wide awake and happy to help me, but I was wrong. I walked in and this women name daisy was helping me and she was super rude. She had the worst attitude anyone has ever given me for no reason. I didn't even say anything to her or do anything wrong was just asking where do I do returns. I will never come to this location again and I hope she gets fired for her awful treatment to customers. Is it me or Floor & Decor's customer service is just terrible? I've been trying to call 3 stores in the bay area for the past two days to speak to someone that can answer my questions and NOT a single time anyone picked up the phone. My friend warned me about the bad services and now I can agree. I can only imagine once I get my project going with them and when problems come up, I'm sure they won't pick up my phone calls. Store is good with wide variety of tiles. I have purchased several thousand worth of materiel and the service is so bad. The decorator that helped me was awesome(Ayeesha ). Very very very poor service, on the floor and the sales agent was not knowledgeable at all, took her forever to run a checkout. I was there on a week day with 2-3 customers in the store and it still took them an hour to create my invoice and check me out. I was asked to repeat everything 5-6 times and i was told that I will get an email invoice, which I checked in store a few times and reported that I didn't the sales agent didn't even try to help. Tried calling the store many many times, no one answers. The store is big and every time I had gone, I see only a few customers but the team working in the store tries real hard to avoid eye contact and avoid helping as much as possible. I love Floor & Decor, it's got a great selection available on hand and great prices. Many stores offer similar set ups but what they don't have is Marlen and Bryant from the Milpitas store. They are what sets Floor & Decor apart from the competitors. We had a request that required them to locate a discontinued product and ship it to their store, which is actually a lot more complicated than it sounds. They worked tirelessly together to solve our problem and come up with more creative solutions. They were beyond helpful and truly made it an exceptional experience. read more

Wosrt customer service I ever experienced in my life. 1. The return policy is a joke. We were told that if you open the box, you can't return it. Are you kidding? Also there is nothing like this said about this on their website. How would you know that quality of the product if you don't open the box! If you don't want to risk hundreds of bucks and getting some deficit product, don't go to this store. 2. One of the box we bought is missing pieces. It says 7 pieces but it only has 6 in it. Like I said how would I know this if I don't open the box. But then they won't accept the return. 3. When we bought the product, we explicitly asked about the return policy. We take the box to the staff and asked if we can buy one box, try it and return it. The staff only told us it has to be returned in 90 days, no mention of that you can't open it. If we were told we won't buy these. And now you are telling me you can't return it after it's open. I see it's your way to cheat your customer. All of these are unacceptable, going to file complaints to BBB to avoid more customers tricked by you. I'm would never and ever going to shop here again and I suggest if you have requirement of the product quality, don't shop here because of the shitty return policy. read more

Today we decided to buy flooring for my house. We must have visited 20 different places. Certain places there was no one who even greeted us. Before calling it a day we decided to visit floor and decor. We loved the displays but we didn't know anything about flooring. Within the first 60 seconds of us being there Ajith came and greeted us. He took the first 10 mins understanding and listening to our needs. After he understood our needs and knowledge he decided to explain and clear our misconceptions. He was thorough and dedicated. He explained everything to us. By far we had the best experience with him. He is an asset to floor and decor. He was knowledgeable and very patient. The three floorings we liked, they were not readily available in stock. One of them he said he has 500 sq ft and he can get us the remaining in 10 days. We were on a time crunch and we need to wrap it up in 3 days so it was not going to work for us. But I felt very guilty because ajith deserved to earn our sale. So I am writing this review that if you guys are looking for flooring and want true vip service and dedicated sales person please go and ask for ajith. read more

This store promised me a delivery date and missed it by 2 weeks, I kept reaching out as I was promised Tuesday then Thursday then following Tuesday ... this went on for 2 weeks. After that I was sent over the wrong product, I called at least 25 times over a 2 day period . Pickups are also convenient. They offer design assistance...Jeanette has helped me on multiple occasions; I appreciate Jeanette's help and design suggestions. This place is huge. So many stalls of showers and bathrooms to give you an idea of how to decorate and coordinate different tiles. I went to other tiles shop & the places are small and not many displays. I came here after noticing a new location here on McCarthy near living spaces. It is huge like a Home Depot- every possible tile and flooring you can think of is on display- so many showers, so many varieties. I was in love but too many options. but I knew coming here what I had in mind and low and behold, the tile was in a display with the flooring I was on the fence about. Bryant was wonderful as was Michael. Both gentlemen were very knowledgeable and I was glad to interact with both. Hardwood as well, but as I'm going with tile, I never ventured over to that section. But many many choices I see of hardwood or laminate on display. Also on display were above mounted sinks - so pretty, but my vanity had already been chosen . For my next bath remodel, I will def be back. Prices are reasonable!! read more

Today I experienced the worst post-purchase service I ever had. I ordered oak floor on Wednesday with their designer Esmeralda, paid for delivery and scheduled delivery on Saturday. Then the next day, on Thursday I changed my mind, I wanted red wood floor. So I cancelled the old order and placed a new order with their designer Lei. Again I paid for delivery and scheduled delivering on Saturday. This morning (Saturday) I called the store asking for the delivery time. The lady on the phone told me they don't deliver in the weekend. What? My contractor was in my home and was waiting for the floor. They say they don't deliver... I worked with two of their designers, paid the delivery fee and scheduled delivering on Saturday. No one said they don't delivery in the weekend. The lady then told me another phone number, (877) 675-0002, asking me to call this number to get it resolved. I made the call. Another miss picked up the phone and after she understood the issue, she again said they don't deliver in the weekend. Ok, but I need a solution ... She said she's not working in the store, it's the store's problem and I have to call the store to get it resolved. What? They just want to kick me off and no one help resolve the real issue. I insisted on I won't call the store again and she must help get it resolved. She then found her manager Dave - the store's manager... Her manager gave me the solution, either I found a delivery company to pick up today, they will afford the delivery fee or I wait until they deliver next Monday. Then I talked with my contractor, they agree to pick up, but I need pay them delivery fee. I agreed. Looks the issue was resolved perfectly, wasn't it? You never know what is waiting for me on the way in your front. After my contractor moved the floor to my home. We unloaded all the floor and opened one box to install. THE FLOOR IS NOT WHAT I WANTED!!! I checked the receipt again. The floor is exactly the one on the receipt. But it's not the red wood I wanted. What a day! How bad luck I have! It was raining the whole afternoon. We had to load all floors and returned. Another guy helped me. After he got the issue and the whole story. He told me they actually didn't have the red wood floor. What? They sold me something they didn't have ... Unbelievable. I had to choose another one if I wanted to get the floor today. I had no choice. My contractor was waiting for flooring all day. I don't want to waste time any more. I selected another one and asked for discount. They made all the mistakes. They wasted my time and my money. They must pay for their mistake. Everyone must pay for their mistake, shouldn't he? But their manager refused. He refused ... I insisted on discounting. He said no, no, no. He didn't have the permission. He said no again after talking to someone else. I guess it cold be his manger or a higher level manger. The answer is still no. I stayed there for half hour and they left me alone. No one wanted to talk about the issue. I don't want to waste my time again. I don't want to talk with those guys. I paid the new floor and left. What a day! I never experienced so bad a purchase and so bad service. It looks their employees are not properly trained. They are not professional. And they don't care about their customers at all. They just want your money. Maybe you find the good product you want in their store. Be careful of their service. You must check all details and make sure you won't get a surprise. How stupid I was! I even bought their floor after I was treated so rudely. Never go there again. They don't deserve one start. They should get negative score. read more

This store branch the customer service is so POOR!!! We ordered and paid fully all the tiles we need and that day our contractor picked them up they said not everything was there/ sold out at their store and they need to call other store to transfer it there. Now why they did not update us at all in the weekend and waiting for the contractor to come there and found out only half of the tiles were there. So they picked up 3/4 only of the tiles we ordered and the other 1/4 tiles they have to deliver from Burlingame branch. Today my contractor went there and wanted to pick up the rest of the tiles, again... he found out the tiles from Burlingame that we paid already was sold to someone else now the Fremont store has to call the store at Reno IF they have it and deliver it on Friday, while our project should be done by Thursday. Such an incompetent store manager and customer service there in Fremont store!!! We are so mad at their service and so NOT professional in business at all read more
