This review is not for the staff who were very helpful and professional in helping me choose my flooring. I scheduled a pickup at the Moreno Valley, Ca store on 03/27/22 at 2pm. My contractor called me from the store at around 3:15pm and advised me that my order was not ready for pickup and may not be ready for 2-3 hours or more. My contractor advised the staff member that he would return on Wednesday, the 30th to pick up 1/2 the order and return the following day to pick up the remainder. I called the store and spoke to the assistant manager who told me that orders are done on a first come first serve basis and that staff was short. I asked why was I scheduled for a pick up time if its done on a first come , first serve basis. Also why wasn't I given a courtesy call to let me know the flooring would not be available at the scheduled time the store set. I explained that the contractor is being paid for his time to pick up my order. So ,now, I not only have to pay him for the wasted time, which occurred because the store did not notify me that the order was not ready, but also for the time he has to come back and pick up the flooring. Also, when I asked about the new pickup date, I was told that there was a note about this in my file but it was not put on the warehouse schedule to get ready for customer pickup. So, when my contractor showed up on Wednesday would it be ready for him then? This is very poor customer service because of time wasted and money lost. Free delivery by the store would have been appropriate. UPDATE 3/30/22: The store manager, Jesse Fernandez contacted me regarding this issue. He expressed concern and disappointment about how this matter was handled. He personally delivered my order. and checked the order to assure that it was in perfect condition; and, I received partial credit for my order. I want to thank him for his fast response to my problem. And, for this reason, I have changed my rating to FIVE STARS! read more

So my wife & I decided to makeover our patio and we went to Floor & Decor for tile for some outdoor tile flooring. One of the flooring assistants by the name of Alphanzo was nice enough to take the time to assist us as he showed us many different tile selections of all sorts that fit within our budget. Alphanzo even helped us pick out a beautiful outdoor tile that we ended up going with & we absolutely love it. Alphanzo not only helped us with the outdoor tile but he offered his assistance & helped us with our laminate project too by explaining the different kinds of laminate so that we'd pick the one that's best for our in house flooring project. All in all, our experience at Floor & Decor was amazing & we will be buying all of our flooring material from them for all of our future projects. My husband and I made an appointment with Ewalina who was one of Floor and Deco's interior decorators for remodels on kitchens. I can not say enough about her and her ability to think outside the box. We had seen other designers in other stores and no one came up with the creative ideas as Ewalina which made our kitchen so much bigger as far as counter space without adding anymore square footage to the kitchen. Her use of the current space we have made me fall in love with my kitchen which I have never liked because there was just no counter space to cook. She also has a knack for picking out colors. This place was fantastic. We didn't really know what we were looking for we just knew we needed to do our bathroom and bedroom flooring and we needed tile for a new shower and bathroom. Adam and Chris we're more than helpful. They took us around the whole store to pick out each item we needed and walked us through everything! They made sure they had plenty of stock in the back and when we were ready to leave Chris walked us to the register and waited with us. We came in knowing the tile we wanted from a previous visit and the amount of square feet. Adam came and helped us - we were only asking about grout and he looked at the boxes we had pulled and explained that we had multiple lots within our cart and why we should try to focus on a single lot instead. He then went through every box on the shelves and ended up having to dig in the back to find us one final box. He explained why this was important and then helped us unload the tile into our truck. We were there right at the end of the night and he was so cheerful and helpful that you would have thought it was the start of the shift! I've always had great experiences with Floor&Decor in Fullerton and Norco. This store is horrible! Called in advance to get an in store visual and was told everything was there. Get in the store and they then didn't have the product. They had to pull in back. Then there was an hour wait to pickup of which no one ever said anything. This is my first and last time using this location for work. The design studio messed up my order and they wanted me to do all their dirty work to fix it. You don't have the customer do that when you are responsible for making the mistake in the first place. That's just bad customer service. Management even gave me false promises about getting my order corrected, they didn't stick to their promise. It appears that the communication within the staff is very poor. They even gave me the wrong materials after I had the order fixed! The process was not smooth and it was a major inconvenience. I'm usually a forgiving person when it comes to making mistakes as I know everyone makes them. But, these guys crossed the line. read more

I ordered 61 box of laminate online, I need to see if I can have them transfered to another store in Fountain Valley. The phone rang about 12 times then disconnected. It seems like there is no way you can get to anyone to pick up the phone at this store. I'm writing this from the parking lot where we have been waiting for over an hour for our items. When we made our purchase we were told "just drive around the back and we'll load it for you". We also had additional items we purchased from the Norco store since they didn't have as many boxes of flooring as we needed. We made our purchase at 5:25 and asked about what time the other store closed and were told 7, so we thought we'd have plenty of time. Am hour ago we were told there were 2 people ahead of us so it would be about an hour and a half wait. We have now watched 5 people have their items loaded and are the only ones still waiting. When I asked about why people who came after us are getting their things before us the lady in the pick up office told me it was because they were load orders or something. I couldn't really understand her since she was walking away from me as she answered. If we would have known we would be waiting this long we would have picked up all our items at one time from the other store. This is ridiculous and not good customer service at all. read more

This is my first experience shopping at this store and would probably be the last. My wife and I went there because we are renovating our house. The first day I purchased two vanities and some attachments. They told me they can save them for me in the store for up to 14 days free of charge. I could either pick them up myself or I could pay for delivery. I did not decide at that time. two days alter, we went back and ordered over $6,000 worth of tiles. I was informed that they would need 5-10 days to be delivered since it is a large order. Now I have the vanities and the tiles. Of course I need them delivered. Here is the weird thing. The would not combine all of purchased stuff in one delivery because they were purchased on separate days even though they have not left their store yet! They want to have two different delivery vendors and each has to be paid separately!! I ended up picking the first order myself. But wait! Just if you think this is bad. On business day number 7, I called to see what is happening to my delivery so that I coordinate with my contractor. I pend 30 minutes over the phone trying to get an answer. I talked to the customer service desk. She said the only thing she could tell me is that the shipment has not arrived to their store. She does not even know if the shipment left the DC (distribution center). I asked to talk to her boss. She connected me to the warehouse. He guy did not offer much and basically told me the same thing I heard earlier. So the bottom line is that it is a very top-notch secret operation where you as a customer is left completely in the dark. The sad part is that the DC, I thought it was in a different state, turns out to be only 10 minutes away, and there is no way they can contact and ask anyone there. At least that is what I was told. I asked him to give me a number I can call at the corporate office, an he did. After being kept on line for 24 minutes, a young lady answered. She was nice and apologetic. She said that she will try to help me. I waited for some time on line and then she said we can divert what I ordered from another store. It is available but I have to pay for another shipment fee!! Why id the shipment had not left the DC? Couldn't they cancel the first shipment order? AND all of the people I talked to said that the 7-10 business days is only to have the shipment in their store, and it may take that long to drop it by my property!! I told the lady, you know what? This is horrible customer service, this is a terrible corporation if this is the way they conduct business. I finally said, I really do not care anymore. I will not call and ask for an update and just let the chips fall where they may. So much for keeping customer informed so that they can plan ahead. read more

I had such a wonderful experience at this location with Susan R. during my design consultation. I had a whole house to design with no direction on what I wanted. I walked in with a little floor sample of the flooring I had chosen and she immediately pegged my style and patiently designed my whole home room by room. She is so talented and so fun to work with and I am so thankful for her amazing design sense, that she especially catered to my desires. I had an A+ experience at this location with Susie! All the other workers were so helpful too! It can be overwhelming to walk into a store with so many beautiful options, and having the designer help made an otherwise stressful situation a true joy! read more

You show up they tell you it will be 30 plus minutes before you can get your 5 boxes of flooring that I order the day before. Really??? I stopped by Floor & Decor today 3-18-2020.... Had not been here since they opened, but just wanted to see what kind of inventory they had... It was 11ish in the morning, cold & rainy. I walk in, there were about 4 people in the Floor & Decor vest, one person was helping a lady at the cash register. The others looked right at me, but didn't say anything. So my daughter and I was browsing in the ceramic tile for a little bit... then I said "hey lets go over and look at the wood tile." So we mosey over there; same people who were at the front walked by us at least two times as we are just looking around (mind you, we had been in the store for at least 15-20 mins). THEN out of nowhere... a voice says "Are you guys finding everything okay? Did you have any questions?" This young lady came from the other side of the isle we were in - and just preceded to ask what we were looking for; I showed her and she began explaining the difference between the various types of tile... asking what room was I thinking of placing the tile... After talking to her for a good 7-10 minutes I said "I'm sorry, what is your name?" Her name is Crystal! I took time to thank her for coming over and providing OUSTANDING customer service! I explained several people have passed us but no one have said anything! And I understand with the virus going around, everyone is on edge; but if customers took time out to visit your store; just say Hello, if nothing else. So if you are in the MoVal area and decide to drop by - definitely ask for Crystal! Very knowledgeable, took her time explaining and made it worth the trip in the rain! I thought I posted my review but did not. I will give the store 5 stars for variety but a 1 star for service. When we went there was no customers in the store. We could not find any help, checkers called on walkies for 15 min and no one responded. We finally walked to back counter, he then called on walkie several times with no response so he helped us. We paid and drove to back to pick up order. Was told it would be about 15 min. We did not see anyone for 40 min. When tow motor came out with palate we explained we needed pick up loaded and was told they could not get into back of pick up which we found odd since lowes and home depot do. So they stood outside and loaded but could not get to front of bed so made it difficult to get all 62 boxes loaded without worrying they would fall out. There were 2 guys, 1 probably late 20's or early 30's and other a young guy. Older was was very lazy and the younger guy loaded about 4 boxes to older guy every 1 box. When my husband went inside to ask for corp. Number he was given the run around but finally got the number. I have been back to the store several times for needed items but end up leaving because I could not find a employee to help. Store in appearance is very nice but the service is very poor. read more

Went in and Applied for a credit card it was super simple got $4500 worth of credit was ready to shop. Went to the flooring department picked out $1300 worth of flooring. Went around to the back to pick up and since the store was supper slow i was hoping i would just get my flooring and get out of there quick but an hour later I still wasn't not gone.Finally about an hour and 20 minutes later they came out with my flooring I only had 29 boxes so I thought OK let me look over these boxes make sure everything's good and I'll be on my way several of them were destroyed so I said please take those back the guy threw a fit so I asked for a manager. The manager came and Shellie was so rude, she said what do you want we're giving you more boxes, and the tall dark-haired guy said I think you're overreacting. So I decided to return everything and get my money back. Never going there again!!! Make the drive to another Floor & Decor this one is awful rude!! read more

Pretty upset with Floor n Decor right now. Purchased a Marble precut slab from them last week after they gave us phone number for a contractor that could pick it up and install it. Only to have the contractor tells us they didnt service our area ( 3.4 miles from the store). So after making other arrangements to pick it up myself with another contractor, and ripping my bathroom counter apart today in prep for install, the young kids refused to bring the slab out of the store ( 45 minutes before closing) because my contractor didnt have a truck. They even made me sign a liability waiver...for what? I am taking possession and transporting at MY risk not theirs. Another store employee interjected his reasons why they couldnt as " we cant have 4 employees help load it in your vehicle". "Really? I just sat here and watched the four of you load that guys truck while he and his buddy watched, and I'm not asking for your help, can you bring it out of the store at least and let me figure it out?" " Nope". So, I requested my $650 refund and told them I'll be returning my $350 purchase of two sinks tomorrow. Thats $1k just starting my remodel, not even other materials, the night manager didnt bat an eye. I wont be shopping there ever again. Pissed doesnt even express how I'm feeling. read more
