We decided to tear down all the flooring on our new house. We went to this store and were helped, suggested, taken care off very well by the staffs. We are impressed by how knowledgeable everybody in the store are. Lots of selections to choose for. My kids enjoyed playing by their bathroom display. It sounds dangerous but they had lots of fun going to the store. Lines can be really long on the weekends, other than that, check outs are usually fast. read more

Super slow service. But they have so many people working here They sit around and watch as your unloading Worst is if you do a lot of purchases then have to return. Their unloading dock in back is super slow. They have one person there and then. Today my husband and I were helped sorting through a crate of very heavy travertine tile by a young man named Miguel S. He was so helpful doing most of he heavy lifting since my husband and I are not spring chickens. We were trying to find tile that looked similar to the ones we have to tear out of our bathroom due to a leak. He was very good at finding something close to what we needed. He is a five star employee. Also Jadon helped us load them in our car. Very personable and more than willing to help. These two guys work at the Norco store. Put item on hold, by the time I drove 2hrs they sold the last of the stock to an online order. I tried to order online and over the phone unsuccessfully, with the last option being to put it on hold and pay when I got there. Manager unhelpful, couldn't answer basic questions about policy leading to this circumstance. UPDATE: Manager gave a generous discount for the trouble, which is appreciated. Floor & Decor has a HUGE selection of flooring, all shapes, sizes, varieties endless. Prices more than fair, stellar service, excellent quality. We purchased wood plank tiles for our entire home here and they are gorgeous, super thick, good to work with and I'm sure will last us forever! They do not deliver, but offer a third party to do so, they do run pretty expensive, so plan on bringing a truck or renting one elsewhere. Tons of In Stock flooring, we didn't need to preorder, they had enough for a 3500 sq ft home right away and still a bunch left over! read more

WORST STORE, WORST INCOMPETENT PEOPLE, LIERS. Initially some incompetent guy created an invoice in a hurry because he was going home with a wrong SKU. When the order was picked up and came home to realize that the product is matt finish instead of polished. I had to load up every thing and return to store. Also when I was at the store, the so called MANAGER guy said that he will help palce another order for with the same dye lot and make sure it gets to me on 01/28 and said he is going to enter the delivery date as 01/30 just in case. I believed in his words and palced the order again. When I called in today (01/27) to check on the order, first guy says the order is delayed and will take couple of more weeks, when I insisted on talking to the manager, Some one named 'Tony' came and said that it will be delivered to me on 01/31 and he was saying if I want to cancel the order that is fine. What an irresponsible people, don't understand the essence of time and the delays it is causing my projects. WORST PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH. This review is only a reflection of THIS STORE, not Floor & Decor as a whole. I spent a lot of money on a large bulk order of flooring (500 + square feet). What I received was not what was portrayed on the floor. This caused a chain of events that resulted in the manager offering to send a truck to pick up the order at my home for a return. Once it was picked up, I had to physically visit the store to get a refund a week and a half later. The manager then tried to charge me half of the fee for picking up the flooring after he offered to have it picked up. After a long debate with the manager, he finally agreed to give me a full refund. This was not a situation that made me feel like I was a valued customer. Poor communication, poor response, and no accountability. read more

Carly answered the phone and was immediately courteous and friendly and swayed me to continue my purchase with Floor & Decor as I was ready to go elsewhere based off of my experience at the location in Moreno Valley (see my review for that store--DO NOT SHOP at that location!) Krystal approached us and asked if we needed help. She assisted with giving us some wonderful tile design matches. After months of researching and shopping, my husband and I finally agreed on the same tile. Krystal was there for us the entire trip. Poorest customer service of Floor & Decor. They were unwilling to assist me with a return, when I've only had the floors for 14 days and these were the extra floors that I have. This is my 2nd home that I've used floor & decor, normally customer service is helpful, NOT this location. I highly recommend going somewhere else. Asked for a manager and his name is Tony, he refused my return for the following reasons he gave: 1. Didn't purchase floors from this location- even tho the receipt states you can return if in good condition, they were 2. No room in his warehouse - big warehouse- not sure why 13 boxes couldn't fit 3. My favorite excuse was- he offered to give me a store credit for the floor even tho I paid with my debit card. Why would I get a store credit,when I didn't pay with a store credit.? Makes no sense to me, but that was a solution? How about give me my money back, in the way that I purchased the floors!!!! I went back to the Rancho Cucamonga location, which is 30 minutes further and they were very helpful, helped me unload my car and I was in and out in 5 minutes. So why couldnt Tony return my money?? All of this tells me, he could have taken the floors back, but chose not to. I will NEVER refer them. read more

Three stars because of poor return policy across all floor and decor not just this store. Positives: Great selection of tiles, backsplashes, laminate/vinyl/hardwood flooring, Grout. Customer service at Norco store is great. The associates are very helpful and wish I got the names but since I bought from this store many times in the last 7 months, I interacted with everyone and they are all great. Thanks folks. Negatives: The return policy is as bad as it can be. The floor and decor needs to step up in this area. Be very careful when you return or try to return after 90 days. They will give you store credit but the worst part is they will even reject returns after you return 2 times! You cannot return anything more than $250. And you return it in multiple transactions, they flag you and you wont be able to return!! Other big stores can look up transactions from your credit card and return smoothly but NOT here - NO. I spent A LOT buying many many things here in the last 7 months and had to return less than 3% of the total amount I spent and the store policy gave me such a hard time that next time I will try to go to home depot or elsewhere where I dont face this problem. Now I am stuck with store credits and unfortunately my project is finished - no tiles or flooring needed. What am I going to do with this store credit now??? Come on guys.. you have whole history of customer transactions that you can look up and see how much they spent in your store and you cant return past 90 days??? Some projects take a long time. Mine took 6 months.... this policy will backfire since other competitors have a smooth return policy. No RAR stuff!! Ugh.. This policy of yours need to change. Gone are the days of going to Home improvement or hardware stores and having retired contractors with a wealth of knowledge eager to help someone. Unfortunately these days quality costumer service is hard to come by. Which is precisely why I want to highlight Matt and his team at floor and decor in norco. He had helped me about a year ago picking out some stacked stone for my fireplace. He then gave me step by step instructions on the how to, supplies needed, and strategies to make it look great. The project came out flawless thanks to him. A year later I stopped by for my bathroom remodel, he remembered helping me out and followed up on how the wife liked the fireplace and to see pictures.. Just the small ability to recall the project and greet me by my first name is what sets this store apart from any other. As if that wasn't enough he proceeded to guide me through the process, he also took the time to help with the design as his designers were busy with other costumers. Long story short, the whole crew from the cashiers to the staff on the floor have brought back to the industry what used to be the norm. At both locations, finding someone to assist was an exercise in futility, which tells me the problems start with corporate. This review will focus on my experience at Norco. I purchased $11k worth of flooring. I worked with Roxana in the store to purchase my flooring. we had a lengthy discussion about the stair treads I wanted. She told me the stair treads had to be special-ordered, which I agreed to do & she told me she would place the order. I paid for everything. Note, their receipts had sku #'s where most other stores have the description or name of the item you wrote. When she texted me to notify me the flooring was ready for pickup, I inquired about status of the stair treads. She told me the stair treads weren't ordered. After back & forth via text, she offered no assistance or apology for the mix up. I had also tried calling the store at various times throughout the day & no one ever answered the phone. What kind of business does not have someone to answer the phone throughout an ENTIRE day. I sent an email & received no response. Prior to purchasing my flooring, I consulted 2 different designers & I mentioned visiting Floor n Decor to look at flooring. I was assisted today by Tony Penaloza (Sales floor manager) and I cant thank him enough for helping me. Tony is very professional and understanding! I purchased about 30 boxes of some white porcelain flooring and somehow the tiles were off by color and some had chips on the corners. I got into contact with Tony over the phone and explained my situation. He told me to come stop by at the store and he will replace all the damaged pieces at no cost. Once I got my new flooring he asked me if any materiel got damaged and I told him that 2 bags of thin set were wasted because we had to remove the tile off the floor due to the colors being off. He walked to the back of the store and came back with 2 free bags of thin set. This guy deserves to be recognized for his great customer service!
