3 Stars for tons of flooring options but not enough employees roaming during busy hours, or carts, and closing a big section on a weekend day! Wuuuut?!? So, beyond a doubt, their flooring selection is fab. Tons of options from wood, to tile, to tile made to look like wood. And everything in between. We've gotten most of our flooring needs covered here. So, A+ for selection. And all of the staff I've encountered have been awesome (especially the one guy whose name escapes me, but he's also a twin). The problem is a lack of employees walking around during peak hours. I've had several occasions of waiting around for help, or even walking aisles to try to find someone with no luck. Worse still, these are heavy tiles for this 100 lb lady with the body of a small boy! They are sorely lacking in carts to grab samples to bring to checkout. I had to lug one over myself with the help of my sister. And finally, I keep going on weekends, their peak time I'd imagine, and they've twice now closed large sections to either renovate, or add tiles, or I don't know what else. This is rough when the tile you want to see is in that section and no one's around to give you an eta on when it'll open back up. Overall, a great spot to get tile and flooring, with great staff, but they could use more staff and carts and be a bit more strategic on timing of aisle work. read more

Updated: I removed a star because the company replied to my review saying they would DM me but never did. Probably just a generic computer response set up to go out to all poor reviews. Terrible customer service. No one was around to help us. After 45 minutes, we found someone who didn't dodge our eye contact. I had to special order my tile and was told someone would call me when it was in. Nope, I had to call. Picking up the tile is a mess. I was not really impressed with this place. I stopped in because I'm looking for some tile to do some edging in my bathroom. When I walked in there were at least half a dozen employees standing around just inside the door and nobody even gave me a glance. I wasn't sure where anything was so I just started walking around the store. I found the area where the stone and ceramic tiles were and started searching for something that might work. While I wandered I passed by a good half-dozen other employees and not one of them greeted me or offered assistance. I finally found a very small section that had the type of tile I was looking for but everything was in white. I wandered further through the store and found some other tiles that would function for my application but none of them were in colors that went with the room. On the way out I passed more employees and no one said anything or thanked me for stopping in. I gave them three stars because they do have a very large selection of flooring products but I have to say that their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I'm sure if I had walked in and tried to buy several thousand dollars worth of flooring people would have been all over wanting to take care of me. read more

Although the store has a tremendous amount of selection. The experience is ruined by the poor attitude of employees. From the people that answer the phone, to the employees that work the rear pickup, There's a really rude lady that works in the back dock that directs customers where to park . Service is incredibly slow for online orders/pick up/loading area! Appointment set for 11-12 pick up, we waited in line for over 2.5 hours! There were only 3 cars in front of us upon arrival. That place is a nightmare and unorganized. After purchasing flooring and trying to call them for three days to make them aware we were coming to pick it up, no one would pick up the phone. I am not exaggerating when I say we called at least 20 times. We also left numerous voicemails and no one responded to any of our calls or messages. We finally arrived to pick up the flooring and had to wait 2 1/2 hours to be loaded Since we did not make them aware we were coming. When we stated we tried to call our loader said he is aware of the issue and that no one ever picks up the phones.We had to make two trips since my van would only hold half of the vinyl. We made them aware we would be back in two hours. Once we arrived back we had to wait another two hours to be loaded with the rest of the vinyl. It was total chaos at the loading dock. read more

I don't know why I even bother with the pro services at this location. I called to ask to have an order ready and spoke with Alexandra after asking for Sammy (who wasn't available). I wanted to have them hold tile so we could come and pick them up. She is very unwilling to help and it's always the same issue or some excuse as to why she can't do it. Why do I have to call the Lakeland store just to receive the customer service I am expecting? I called Lakeland and within 5 minutes of speaking with Bill and Harry, he had my order ready in the system, moved the tile to pro services, and it was ready to go once paid for. I don't know why that is always so difficult with pro services - specially Alexandra - at the Orlando location. read more

The young women working the load and pick up in the back of the store around 3:00 pm was the rudest individual we have dealt with in a while. She was very unprofessional and out of all the other floor &decor around we will not come back to this location. Never blame your customers for your store failures. We came with three Cars and because someone jumped in the line she wanted us to circle until we were in line. Wasting our time and this was not explained to us before showing up that the front car has to be the "ticketed guest" I guess you don't need business. Spent too much time here--employees and customers pretend to wear masks but don't cover their nose or wear them as chin guards. A floor is not worth your life. We asked an employee for details on Bamboo engineered flooring; he advised us that while it wasn't in stock, there were 100 boxes at the port in Savannah and they would be delivered in 5 days if ordered that day. We checked with our installer, and he wasn't happy, but re-arranged his schedule to accommodate that installation date (as a natural product, these materials require at least 5 days to acclimate to the installation environment, so we expected the installation to be in 10 days). When I hadn't heard from Floor and Decor in 5 days, I began calling...and calling...and calling. I figured that their phone system had been taken out by lightning, as no one ever picked up after the mandatory 3 minute recorded ramble. After 3 days I finally got a live employee, who told me the product would arrive in 10 days to two weeks. Yeah, you can imagine how furious I was. I spoke to the Operations Manager, Deborah, who said "I'm sorry you feel this way", which of course is exactly what they tell you never to say in HR 101. We got disconnected after she put me on hold, and she called me back at a random time and left a voicemail message asking me to call back. Of course I could NEVER get through. When I finally got through 3 days later, she wouldn't take my call but advised the lady with whom I was speaking to tell me the product was in. We will never shop here again. read more

We were redoing our kitchen back splash so we came here to get our tiles and grout. We went with a grey/white marble backslash, but had to check every sheet (which was a bit tedious) since some seemed more tan colored than others. Also, some of the pieces were slightly damaged. They have a 90 day return policy, so we had enough time to return any unused pieces, no questions asked. My husband and I were needing help finding the membrane that goes between the concrete and the tile. Sabrina couldn't have been more happy to help us! She took her time, listened,and made sure we had exactly what we needed from start to finish. Sabrina ended up making sure she helped us with the grout that matches it and when it was not available on the floor she didn't want to make us go to another store so she found it on their new inventory. Great store . So because I love this location so much I went back to buy all my windowsills. Because I was purchasing Carrera marble and they have different color variations Angel was gracious enough to open several crates for me so I could pick the pieces that I wanted.
