I called into this location off Highland and the 51 Fwy and Brandon, a sales associate, checked inventory on a flooring I needed and when I asked if he could put 13 boxes of flooring aside for me...he did! When I walked in the store 30 minutes later a cart at the entrance with my name on it was waiting for me. I love this type of service! Additionally the Store Manager, Slade, proved to be extremely helpful as my seemingly easy purchase was complicated with a credit back to my account from a storage back-order from a different store. He stayed past his time to leave work and stayed on the phone for a VERY LONG time waiting to make sure my transaction was done correctly. Thank you Brandon and Slade. Helpful staff at the Highland store, non existent on Bell. Good selection. Needed 85 boxes to complete the project. Only 30 at Highland, 55 at Bell. Did not need for 10 days, but they would not get any additional from the warehouse in that time. Charge a fee to pick it all up at Highland. Highly doubt that when I paid for the entire stock at Highland, they did not get more from the warehouse in the ensuing 10 days. Uncooperative at best. Would not recommend. read more

if I could use no star I would. ordered 2/24 was to get tile 3/12 as was to be at store 3/10. demo done on home 3/11. installer went to get tile and not in. store has been totally indifferent and did not communicate. Had they- I could have moved the demo and my house would be in 1 piece and I would have appliances. now today they can't confirm it was on the truck for an 8pm deliver to the store. totally unacceptable they have had my money for 3 weeks and I still have no tile and nobody can confirm when it will arrive. the designer who assured me she would update me today wasn't even working. instead of them updating me I am taking time out of work to have to chase them. read more

I stopped by today around 1:05 p.m as I was looking for parking I was coming out of a row of parking getting ready to turn into the next I saw and employee on the forklift coming from the other row but it had not turned yet so I turned before it. The girl or guy (couldn't tell exactly, was wearing a hat) starts honking at me and yelling "get the f*** out the way" I was no way blocking or even interfering with their turn.. this employee was also on the phone while operating the forklift!!!!! This is the most unsafe and unprofessional way to be welcomed into this store. I tried calling while I was still in the parking lot to speak to the manager and was placed on hold and hung up on twice! I went to another location to return that floor sample, only 1 day after buying it and was told that they have discontinued products on their floor and other locations cannot take them back. DELIVERY AND RETURNS NIGHTMARE, AKA worst experience ever. We purchased one pallet worth of shipment, paid $135.00 for shipping. the delivery came with mixed stuff we never ordered, had to lose 1/2 a day worth of work to go and replace the the mistaken tile with the correct one. Went to store to return wrong items, one lady (which was by the way doing a great job!) was there alone, so had to wait in line for 45 minutes. Some of the items missing were no in stock, we had to go all the way to the mesa store to get it. As we approached the bottom of the pile, on the pallet, we realized that a part of the order we paid for is missing, $880 worth, currently trying to be resolved. Apparently and according to few employees on the warehouse, shipping errors are common, at least two replied with "Why am I not surprised..." Question to the manager / owner: how much money are you losing annually by shipping the wrong items and having to re-stock? UPDATE: Tim from the pro service provided us with an outstanding service, found the error, and although it is still a clear mess at least we know it is been worked on. read more

This place handled the covid situation awesomely! Order online pick up outside. They handed samples. Samples cost 3 dollars but it's fine. Their staff is top notch. There was an issue my wife and I picked out a type of premium vinyl. We calculated we would need 7 boxes when she returned home I quickly started laying it and there wasn't enough. I was missing about half. I quickly realized she was given the wrong product. The planks we got were way smaller. The color was nice and all so I went back to the store to find out what solution we could come up with. The manager came out and quickly we quickly came to the resolution that they would give me more of the same flooring I previously installed Thing is the flooring we payed for was a dollar a square foot less than the flooring I received. This whole situation could have taken a wrong turn quickly if they hadn't resolved this so quickly. read more

Unfortunately Floor and Decor doesn't stand behind the products they sell. We put in Luxury Vinyl Flooring, paying extra for "Waterproof". It was not. The story connected us with the "product rep" who explained it is only waterproof for things like mopping. A broken pipe or flooded toilet aren't covered. In other words, not waterproof. The cost of replacing warped pieces was left up to us. read more

Do not order from this place if it is not in stock at the store. I placed an order for flooring and was told that it would be delivered in 2 weeks. It has now been 5 weeks and every time I call to obtain status, I get different information ranging from "most of your order is here" to "the order has not left the warehouse in California". When I asked about the original shipping estimate, the response verbatim was "so what". The customer service is appalling. We chose the store because they had good variety of products. But that is all the store has, "variety". The attitude of the customer service ranges from "I don't care" to "don't shop here". read more

Unfortunately, the persons who helped me with the purchase were not available and it seemed that others at desk were too busy. Therefore, went to main entrance cashiers. First Lilianne checked on my order, that delivery was paid and gave me the forms to fill out for the delivery. Then took me to Mikki to set up the delivery. If I could leave zero stars I would. Just walked out of there and had the worst customer service, if you can even call it that, ever. After being passed by a couple associates and no one offered to help us once in the flooring section, we finally had ask a guy to assist us in looking for stair caps that we've seen on their website. He immediately seemed annoyed, walked us to an area to show us something that we weren't even looking for. Then once he figured it out he said he can look them up online, we showed him what we wanted and he said it's discontinued. That it's. We Asked if there was someone who can show us something comparable, show us what the process is, options...he said he's the sales associate, oh really!?! You could've fooled us because nothing you're doing is helping us buy anything, nothing. You're being a complete jackass. The whole place was dead...many of these "sales associates" were walking around and never asked us if we needed help. YOU are the subject matter experts, not us. Help us, help us spend money. You have 2 women looking to re-floor each of their houses AND stairs, easily would've dropped $4,000+ EACH...I don't how this place has over 4 stars. Such a shame, headed to Home Depot now, wish us luck. Update: as soon as we walked into Home Depot a sales associate shook my father's hand and told him "Happy Father's Day" didn't take long before we were assisted by true sales associates. So many different styles of flooring and tiles! Walking into the store is actually a bit overwhelming. What I was expecting to be a half-hour visit to choose new tile for my bathroom... ending up being a two-and-a-half-hour shopping extravaganza! The staff is extremely helpful and more than one staff member explained the store layout to me. They also offered assistance in designing the right look for me (a free service) and choosing products that go well together! And the prices (per square foot) are much lower than I was expecting... although they certainly can start to add up depending on the size of your project. While they have a decent selection, this store is geared toward do it yourself-ers. This is great but if you overbuy and return the unused portion too many times they will no longer let you return (even with a receipt and ID). I've been in the midst of a whole house renovation and things are of course taking longer than expected. After the tile installer informed me my tile selection wouldn't work for the pattern I wanted, I was surprised when they wouldn't take a return of tile I had full proof of purchase for (and they are out of stock of on their shelves). I have a lot of issues with overstimuli in certain settings with lots of people, lights, and stimuli. I suffer from TBI, PTSD and seizures, my service dog Bandit and I were well received by Angie at the PRO desk; after I had placed my order online for my client... and quickly realized that some of what I had ordered was discontinued, or not in stock at the location where I was purchasing in Arvada. So, after chatting with online chat, my order was cancelled and I was advised to go to the store to receive assistance in expediting my order. (that which I was hoping to avoid altogether), however, Angie made me feel comfortable, and was able to accommodate me easily. Thanks Ang! JImmy the designer was also helpful. And Clara was subsequently helpful as well. Cory additional was an educator of sorts that I overheard him encouraging his coworkers as he informing them and challenging them at the same time as to which tools were needed to complete which job. I think Floor n Decor PRO Desk is where it's at! What a great team of associates. They really pulled together. I was additionally helped by other associates at the Denver location, furthermore, by Mike Carroll at the Highlands Ranch location ( he really went out of his way to inform me, and take time to ensure that I was a PRO Rewards member). I've come to pick up 5 boxes of tile that were ordered last week and I've been sitting here for an hour!!!! I asked if they can simply bring them to the counter and I'll take them from there and that was shot down. Since this is a partial order, and I have to go to Tempe to pick up the remainder, I asked if they could reach out to Tempe to start pulling the remainder of my order. Told me that it is a first come first serve system and that's the way it works. Well, their system sucks so plan on wasting half your day waiting for them to pull your order! read more

I came here with my elderly mother to pick out some tile for her living room. She fell in love with what was one of the most expensive tiles on display, and we figured she could afford it. We bought one piece to take to her house and ultimately arranged for delivery of tile and supplies and an independent installer. Flash forward a couple of weeks, the boxes of tiles have arrived and the installer puts down the first few pieces. It became very obvious that the color of the tile was way off, it didn't compare at all to the original piece we bought. Because the boxes were marked as being the right stuff, it became a huge problem trying to return it. After some convincing F&D reluctantly agreed to take back the unused pieces and my mom picked a different (and less expensive) alternative. All of this ended up costing her some additional delivery charges, more installation time and the use of much of her house for several weeks. She is happy with the floor now but all things considered will probably not do business with this company in the future. read more

April/13/16 I was here to pick up some counter tops , the people at the front desk on the Store-pick-up Section , are very disrespectful & don't know how to handle a simple loading procedure , they had me here for 3 hrs just because they wanned myself to load three countertops into my truck. My boss was so pissed off @ them and they never answer to any complain notice . Unbelievable . I've been a contractor for 4years and every time I come to This location , I ALWAYS have problems with getting help, They have great products but horrible .
