I usually do not review...but this was such a miserable experience that I fell compelled to do it. Now, nothing is perfect, but the store has to be customers oriented and care for its customers. I purchased 91 boxes of 'Solid Hardwood floor' worth $5,000. My contractors went to pick them up and realized that few of them were damaged and immediately notified the store. They knew about it, yet no one thought opportune to address it beforehand or to notify us. After pick up, the contractors also noticed during installation that the 'hardwood floor' was breaking when applying little pressure with a rubber hammer to glue it. I called and spoke with the wood manager who requested that I bring a sample back to verify because normally hardwood floor should not do that. Because I was paying the contractors, I left work at noon to go address these issues with the store. This was a big inconvenience for me as I work on project with deadlines. However, not sure because I am a lady, this manager had very little consideration for me and tried to dismiss me as if it was my fault. I felt cheated and mishandled. With that, I have incurred additional costs due to the delay caused by this. I have to pay the contractors an extra day. Additional (transportation) costs were due to multiple back and forth we had to make to bring back all the 'hardwood floor' and exchange them with another flooring. He did not even offer to assist me to find a replacement flooring. I almost left the store frustrated. Fortunately, I met one of the sales man in the name of Will Paaseywe. He was an angel. He assisted me find a replacement and was very patient with me. But this wood manager refused to grant me any discount to account for all the inconvenience and the additional costs I incurred due to their defective products. He attempted to give me a discount that was already on the floor. Prior to that I had sent him couple of emails, which till now he has not responded to. I thought I was making a great deal and had intentions to recommend to all my friends, but after this experience, I do not think so. Issues may arise certainly for any stores, but the way you treat your customers when the issues arise is what makes a difference for me. Here, this manager failed me. read more

I needed help picking out flooring and tiles for a home project. I cannot say how wonderful Teresa C. was during the entire process. We had an image in mind, but she was able to take it to the next level and well within our budget. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient and gave suggestions when needed. You could tell she enjoyed what she does. She even took is outside with samples so that we could see pieces under natural light. I highly recommend her if you need help. I started remodeling my bathroom 3 weeks ago I spent a lot of money with this company only to be mishandled, mistreated, and honestly felt like they didn't respect my money. I ordered tile to be delivered to my home and never receive my delivery. I had to go to the actual store (no one would respond via email or phone) and demand answers when my delivery was then set for 2 days later. When it arrived it was damaged tile. I went back to store same day and asked for replacement I also purchased more tile that day. Set up another delivery for a Wednesday. That Wednesday morning I went into the store to buy grout and assure my delivery was going to be delivered today ( in fear the same thing that happened first time no show would happen ). Of course they had no record of my delivery going out. The manager Mark gave me his card told me he will assure I get my delivery today. Great the delivery comes, but now we have another issue it's only half of my delivery. I get making a mistake once but two and three times I have been inconvenienced. The hired Contractors on my project have been paid for their time and labor and was not able to work 2 days these deliveries were not complete effectively. I am very very upset read more

We used the design center to pick out tile for 4 bathroom remodels. Teri helped us with our tile selections. We were then assigned a company (Kitchen and Baths Made Easy) through Floor and Decor. This company was quick to contact us and send a person out to measure the 4 bathrooms, so we could purchase the materials. He stated that they can start our job on the following Tuesday. The materials must be purchased prior to the installation company scheduling the job, so we rushed over the Floor and Decor to gather and purchase the materials needed-thinking the job would start on Tuesday as stated. They informed us they have a 14-day hold period, and our assigned contractor must pick up materials during this time span. We then called to schedule our install. We were informed the "measurement guy" was not informed, and they were 3-4 weeks out. We were given 8/28/2017 as our start date, as stated on our contract. We were told the owner of the install company would come out prior to job start date to look over the bathrooms. On 8/23/2017 we called and asked when someone was coming out, as the job start date was quickly approaching? He scheduled 4pm 8/24/2017 to stop over and look at the job. He never showed. At 5:20pm we received a call asking if 6:00pm was okay-he got tied up at a job. We said sure. He answered our questions and told us we would see him and 2-others between 8-9am Monday morning (8/28/2017). Sunday evening at 6:20pm (8/27/2017) we received a call from him stating the job he was doing had a broken pipe and they would not be able to start until Wednesday 8/30/2017. I have a week long business trip on 9/11/2017. This is not okay with me. They have my $9,000.00 deposit, and Floor and Decor has my $5,000.00 purchase (hopefully-we have gone way beyond the 14-day hold period). Just completely disgusted with the disorganization. I am hoping to cancel this job and go with a more reputable company when I get back from my business trip. Very dissatisfied. I would also like to know what the Middle Man (Kitchen and Baths Made Easy) gets out of the deal. They should be called Kitchen and Baths Made Difficult! UPDATE: (8/28/2017) 12:13pm. I cancelled my install through Floor and Decor (Installation Made Easy) for breach of contract. They have agreed to refund my deposit minus $25.00 for measurement and the install company to come out and do the walk through. I explained they breached the contract, not me. The lady was rude and refused the entire refund. Do not use Installations Made Easy through Floor and Decor. read more

She had me waited for a long time just to tell me that I need to go to a different cashier when it's her job to handle returns. Then other cashiers pushed me off to others. Waited TWO HOURS for them to prepare my pickup. I paid at 2pm, was told it will take 30-40 minutes for my purchase to be ready out back. A total of two hours (just leaving at 4:04) and I did not receive help loading my purchase. Im absolutely baffled as to why I had to wait for a palette to be put by my car for me to load. What a total waste of my day and time. If you are making clients wait that long to just pull tile around back you'd better come with help. Floor and Decor, Please figure your system out. We purchased white bamboo flooring from the Roswell, GA Floor & Decor in May of 2019. Within months, some of the flooring began to yellow. Less than a year after installation, it was bad enough for us to notify customer service. We have been fighting with the company now for almost a year. Months went by without hearing back from them so we finally opened a case with the Better Business Bureau. Finally, they sent out an inspector who determined it was sun damage and not covered under warranty. ANYONE who looks at the pictures of our flooring would agree this is unacceptable for a home. The worst part is not all of the flooring is doing it. So, we have some white planks and some yellow. It looks terrible. They refuse to do the right thing and have only offered us about 10% of what we paid in flooring and installation to make it right. read more

Generally speaking this was a dreadful experience they do have tremendously large inventory but they have no people except in the design department to speak to... and they Are exceptionally busy. I spent three hours waiting and then picking out what I wanted and paid for it. When the contractor went to pick it up it was out of stock ! But no one let me know in the week I was waiting for install. They said you'll have to get it at another store or it'll take a week to ship it up here . so I said I will send someone down to pick it up. I could never get a return phone call to do this for three days ! at the other store they said they can't transfer payments so I have to go back and collect the money from the Roswell store AND pay cash at the McDonough store 72 miles away if the contractor or somebody else other than myself is going to pick it up on a Sunday. This is only 2 stars instead of ZERO because Debbie Anne was excellent the rest was the worst service experience EVER. Worst of all they could not have cared less about this huge MESS. read more

Bad service! Very bad service! Totally disorganized, badly managed and very mouthy... Young guy in tiles gets refuses to load the tiles in my truck saying that he is not allowed to enter my truck. I pointed that he can put them on the flat bed without really being on the truck. He slams few tile boxes and smiling he tells me that the store will replace any broken tiles. While service in the store I experienced was very good, I ordered some tile online and the pickup process is ridiculous. I ordered some tile I knew I needed on Friday and paid for it online. On Sunday I went to store to get some additional tile needed as well as pick up what I ordered. Selecting my new tile, paying for it, and getting g it to my car took less than 30 minutes. They told me to go to a warehouse pickup place to pick up the tile I ordered. I pulled up, only car there in whole area in front of the sliding glass doors where I was told to. I walked in, and 'Mark' at the desk who I gave my order number to, first told me to move my car to a parking space and then show him proof of Identification. No problem, I moved my car, came back and showed him my drivers license. He evaluated it like I was someone trying to pass off as someone else, took a picture of it, looked at front and back of it (wtf?) and finally gave it back to me, then asked me for make of my car (my car was only one sitting out there). I told him and he said my order would be out 'shortly'. Btw, I had 6 boxes of tile which I could have bought in the store as there were tons of boxes there! But I had pre-ordered thinking it would be quicker - wrong. Since I had arrived, another large van had pulled in. I waited for about 10 minutes, then I saw a load of about 100 boxes being brought out for this van. The two people working the load didn't seem to know what they were doing, and the whole load ended up spilling out all over the parking lot. Total cluster, by now I have been waiting for 25 minutes for my 6 boxes, they look they will be involved at least another 30 minutes fixing this mess, so I walk back in and ask if I am going to have to wait for that to be resolved before I got my SIX BOXES. He with a straight face, no offer of apology, said, 'he was in front of you'. Huh? I arrived at least 5 minutes before him. I had a lunch scheduled I was already late for, so I had to come back later in the day. Never again will I order online from Floor & Decor read more

The worst experience ever. I am not one to usually complain but I felt I had to say something. I was getting new flooring installed and it required a special order for my stair treads. I paid for and placed the order 6 weeks prior to my job. After 3 weeks I called to check and could not get anyone to answer the phones. After 6 tries I went to the store and was told it had not come in yet and there was no way to check on it. This went on until the week on my job and then the 1 helpful person there Bruce in flooring said oh we have those in stock on the floor. My other special order never came in, managers could care less that items I needed for my job never arrived and no one thought they should maybe call me and let me know? You he saga kept going on with lots of other mistakes that again no one really gave a crap about. I will NEVER give that store any more of my business! They need some customer service training ASAP!!!!! read more

I called and spoke with Cassandra about my situation, she was able to talk to the manager, research the situation and look back at the cameras to verify what I said was correct. Glen Thompson is "The Man"! We got water damage in our kitchen and we had to rip up part of the floor. Everyone that I spoke to stated that "you will not be able to find a perfect match" and that we will most likely have to replace the entire down stairs. In addition, the flooring company that our builder used stated that the hardwood was no longer available. My wife and I decided to go with Floor & Decor, because we've used them before. We brought wood samples with us to see if we can match the wood. Glen literally "glanced" at the samples and he immediately stated the manufacture, the type, and the name of the wood, while walling us to the location. There is always plenty of knowledgeable assistance. Every time I go in, associates are very helpful, but not at all pushy. Recently, we had a return after the 90-day period & it was not a problem. In fact, an associate took our receipt (which can be looked up via phone number, so no worries if you lose it) and found us a store manager to approve the late return. I've been remodeling my bathroom and I'm at the point of tiling the shower. My wife and I dropped by Roswell F&D to purchase the tile. A couple of weeks ago when we were in this store there was plenty of the tile in stock. I couldn't find it on this trip and ask Aderya if she would assist us. She found the location where the tile was suppose to be but informed us that they were out of stock. She volunteered to call other F&D and found it at the Buford location. I was overwhelmed by the size of the warehouse and the number of tile selections, color selections and different tile materials. I had a sample of floor tile I was trying to complement. Bright, energetic Teresa appeared. She was a true godsend. She admitted being new with Floor and Decor, but knew how to do her job, which was helping me find what I needed. I left with a sample of the backsplash which my contractor eventually bought to complete my kitchen job. At checkout, I asked Teresa how I could let her supervisor know how much I valued her help. I spent, at least, a couple of hours at this location looking for tile combinations for a bathroom remodeling project with my chief interior designer (my 9 year old son) without coming close to exactly what we wanted. We were asked a couple of times by helpful staff if we needed assistance. We refused assuming that we knew what we wanted but just had not found it yet. Finally, after confidently identifying the bathroom floor tile we accepted the assistance offered by James Pierre to see if he could help us in finding suitable shower wall and shower floor combinations. Within a matter of minutes (literally), James walked us to a few options, explained the pros and cons and helped us finalize our choices. He also helped in getting the samples available for us. If it was not for James, we might still have been there. This location has almost infinite options, reasonable prices, and helpful staff. A very good experience. read more
