I frequented other floor and decor locations before and always felt like I could never find anyone to help me. This location had no less than six people ask me if I needed help. When I was finally ready to be helped, Ashley, who was one of the six who originally asked us graciously helped me price out multiple different options for my home. She was patient, knowledgeable, and kind. After parting ways I decided I wanted to go ahead and order some of the flooring we had talked about. I happen to run into Ashley in the walkway and told her I was going to take the jump and buy and she was quick to help us get everything we needed! Don't do it, customer service does NOT exist in this store? Stick with the specialty stores or Home Depot. I have made three purchases and all my inactions(which I sought out) have been with very poor, and it appears to be unhappy employees. No leadership in that store. Just my two cents! read more

Love this location! Went to this Floor & Decor and spoke to Angel. He had me setup ready to go in no time. Angel helped me find everything I needed to update my 2 bathrooms and they came out GREAT. I mean I had everything I needed to the job and Angel knew his stuff to make it happen. Well I'll be recommending this location and Angel to anyone who wants to do a remodeling project. After purchasing 180 sq. ft. of tile for our master bath remodel from Floor & Decor, we found that the tile was half matte, half shiny finish. We now have to demo the entire floor and retile with tile that isn't defective as the product we purchased was. F&D "customercareteam" is a joke. When I asked why they wouldn't pay a penny of the labor costs we are incurring for their error, I was told that it's our responsibility to look for defects in the tile, even though the finish wasn't noticeable until the tile had been thoroughly cleaned after install. DO NOT purchase from F&D unless you are willing to deal with customer care that shouts at customers and hangs up on them. read more

What a disappointing experience at their new location. Take a about bate and switch. An item was marked a certain price and went to the register and it came up a different price and they refused to sell it to me at the marked price. This is an update from my earlier post. We shopped this store yesterday and found many of our previous problems had been resolved. Check out areas were clearly marked as was the return area. Plexiglass was installed at check out areas along with social distancing circles which made for a much safer shopping experience. The highlight of our trip was when Jennifer waited on us. She was able to locate the subway tiles we wanted from boxes in the warehouse as stock on shelves was empty. In addition, she assisted us with finding the right pencil border and grout selection. She then walked us to check out, opened up a new lane as the others were busy and then turned over the process to a clerk nearby. We thanked her as she hurried off to assist another customer. All in all, a completely different experience than our first visit. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 star rating is that the chip reader was defective. So customer is required to insert credit card 3 times with defective reads and then payment can go forward by swiping. When this occurred our credit card company declined payment. We ended up having to use a different card and go through the same process again, but we were at least able to purchase our merchandise. As we were loading items into our car, we received a phone call from Chase bank to confirm security items before they shut down the use of our card. They indicated that any time one of their issued cards is inserted 3 times in a row in a chip reader and then swiped, it issues an alert and shuts down payment. So I highly recommend having that chip reader replaced so others do not run into the same problem and inconvenience. read more

We came into the store looking to set a new tile in our home. When we finally decided on a tile we wanted we were told that they only had two pallets available at the moment but GUARANTEED we would have our last two pallets within two weeks. We needed to get the job started so we asked them a few times to make sure tile would be in on time and we were told multiple times it would arrive on time. Two weeks later tile has not arrived and store keeps making excuses putting blame on shipping company. The customer service from this store has been terrible and they are acting like it's no big deal. We understand delays happen but no one is taking ownership or trying to help with the situation. We have spoke with multiple managers and everyone says that they are not the manager that deals with these issues and should be dealt with someone higher than them. To our surprise they are never available to speak with. We have tried calling customer care line on website and chatting with agents but have not been able to reach anyone due to "high volumes" even if we wait almost an hour to speak with someone. All around terrible experience. read more

My husband and I just left this Floor and Decor and had a very good experience. We were on a research trip for a planned future project so I cannot speak to any installation but the store was immaculate and there was a huge selection of flooring. We were checked in several times by store employees but we were never hounded or pressured. We purchased many samples and the check out line was short and the staff was kind. No complaints what so ever. read more

My wife and I went to the store in Tolleson. It is a big store with a good selection and great customer service. We purchased 15 boxes of NuCORE Vinyl Flooring after Ashley saw us walking down the aisle and gave us immediate, non-pressure help. Ashley quickly calculated how many boxes we needed, and then said she would get help taking it out to our car. I said I will be right back after a quick restroom break. I returned a few minutes later to see my wife and Ashley already walking with a full cart of the flooring towards the exit. We were joined by Toby, another sales person. After the quick purchase, they walked the cart outside while we pulled the car around. After they quickly loaded the flooring, I offered them both tips. They said the the tips were not necessary, but a review would be nice. So that is why I am writing this today. The flooring seems to be the new rage, and we are looking forward to seeing it in our house. read more
