We were impressed with Flavia's knowledge and professionalism when she came to review the project for the estimate. She asked questions to understand our needs and wants. She patiently listened and answers our questions. During the installation, Flavia came out a few times to ensure everything was going well. She also helped find just the right transition pieces to work with the existing flooring outside the baths. The installation was a two day process. It went very smoothly and was handled in a way that caused the least amount of disruption for us. Our installer was skilled and did a great job not only with the tile, but with new baseboard and a new toilet installation in one of the baths. He was great to work with. Flavia came out one last time after the installation to ensure everything was good and that we were happy with the result. Pro Floors' cost estimate was in the middle of the three estimates we received. But, our choice was based more on our experience during the initial visit than anything else. We were not disappointed. My father is elderly and needed carpeting installed very quickly, it was a matter of safety. Where he lives, the old carpeting was being replaced with hardwood floors, and we needed to have carpet installed shortly after the hardwood floors were installed (on top of the hardwood flooring) -- it was a matter of safety for my father who tends to fall. The fear was that he would injure himself if he didn't have carpeting. With my dad's safety and peace of mind being the utmost concern, I knew I wanted to hire a professional to install the carpet to have it done right. Heather, Florin and their crew got the carpeting installed in the time frame we needed, in the way that we needed it. They were efficient, knowledgeable and professional. They are also very senior-friendly -- patient, willing to go over details as long as necessary, and kind. I initially spoke with Florin, who patiently and thoroughly described the process and told me what was possible in terms of timing and meeting our specs for the carpeting. I was so grateful to learn from him that their crew could also move furniture in and out before and after the carpet installation for an extra fee. It was a relief because it meant that I didn't need to travel to be present for the install. My dad and I then met with Heather who walked us through our options and patiently helped us find a good match in terms of material type, color, and shipping speed -- it took a while because we had to have two particular specs match up, but Heather was super patient. She was also very kind and empathetic to our situation ... Their policy is that the carpet must be picked out in person-- and I strongly agree -- it's best to see the color and feel the texture of the carpet samples. After we put in our order, Heather then kept me in the loop in terms of timing, shipment of the carpet, and scheduling of the install up until the day before the install. For me and my dad, the carpet issue was a stressful one, but thanks to Heather and Florin, it all worked out so wonderfully. Peace of mind is priceless and that is what they gave us. The two installers were both very efficient and did a great install. Cleaned up thoroughly after as well! Rick's wife, Donna, is also super friendly.
