My wife and I tried to do business with floors depo for over two months. The sales person Ronny was at my house at least two times. He was very aware that we were walking on concrete and in need of floors. Ronny was extremely genuine and we loved dealing with him until there was an issue. We were under the impression that we pulled the trigger and had material on the way. Down the road we learned that nothing had been done and we continued to get what we felt was run around. To be fair, we were all over the place with our demands at first and Ronny was accommodating other than the fact the quote was not broke down and we did not know what we were paying for. After a week of trying to get the owner Richard on the phone he called me and we had a very nice conversation and he invited us to come meet him in person to resolve things. I called him when we were available that same day and left a voice mail. Today he called me and was very worked up. He had clearly lost his temper for a reason I do not know still. He flexed that he was a Marine (I told Richard I was a veteran as well and he wanted to first verify what branch I was in to make sure it was worth anything to him), that his dad installed floors for over 40 years and heavily defended the contractor who came to my house. Richard had a very one sided story and never stopped talking and yelling long enough to hear what I had to say he hung up after he got done saying whatever he had to say. His contractor had his entire ass out the whole time at my house in front of my young children, he cussed in front of my children non stop, tried to collect payment and quit before finishing the job, then tried to sell his side services to us including giving us his personal business card. We were disgusted by him and laughed at the fact that he gave us his card because based on his time at our house we would never hire him to do anything. Ronny had to call him and tell him how to finish. We had a quote for $20,000+ and were not going to pay the money until we had a chance to address our concerns with the owner. I appreciate the owner's passion, but that is no way to treat someone who wants to do business and has made multiple efforts to clear the water. There was absolutely no reason for any of this to be heated. I can appreciate someone wanting to defend their employees, but he wasn't willing to hear anything other than exactly what he already made his mind up on. Ronny asked me to not leave a bad review because we did not do business. Richard says the contractor that came to my house is a great craftsman and has worked with him for 17 years. I would say we definitely did business because we paid him to do work for us. Combine that with the time spent and the way Richard represented his business I do not feel my review is out of line or inaccurate whatsoever. read more

I just finished getting my floors done the whole house With the vinyl . Took 5 days to finish because they said the 25 year warranty wouldn't be effective if I didn't level this house isn't even 4 years old yet. So I didn't believe it needed leveling. That made it take a lot longer because it has to dry before installing floors. It was finished in March they got furniture back in place and left about 3 PM. I started with Tammy she never followed through once she got contract sign and half money she was gone no information about leveling extra money or anything. After I sent her a text message . My house was schedule in February to be done on March 19. She still hasn't told me she moved Sam finally said she had on the 25 of March when we was texting back and forth he a nasty little rude man. Let. me be very very clear if you live in Houston and value your money stay away from Tammy she works at that one now and if you are in Ft. Worth stay way far far away from this place. Bottom line my floors are not level and sink in when you walk have big humps in them and a pretty big size scratch I wouldnt have noticed if I was dusting coffee table. After refusing to pay other half till Sam came out made notes of damage at least and give me my warranty and contract he refused I finally had to call owner Sam finally came with his nasty little attitude Friday at about 7 pm and basically said it was my fault or the dog for scratch moving furniture I pointed out the installer moved furniture on Thursday then he turn around and said it was my dog . My daughter ask were in warranty papers it said it had to be leveled for warranty to be good GUESS what folks SAM finally admitted he never read the warranty so he just a bloody con artist I guess. Save you sanity and stay away from these people No Customer service at all . He said what you want me to do about it Not being Level we said at least refund the $450 dollars since it's Not level . Which is my fault because he said I wouldn't have been willing to spend thousands of dollars to level A four year old house. Which I pointed out if anyone had told me this before I sign contract and the installers where here I wouldn't have done this type of material I would have got carpet or pergo which has padding under it. This is not who you want to hire for any kind of tile job. I worked with Floors Depot TX for 6 months picking out tile for a kitchen backsplash and two fireplaces and Floors Depot TX not only never delivered me all the tile I paid for, but backed out of doing the job completely. They left me high and dry. They do not work with any tile contractors that can do a professional job. Their contractors do poor work and in my case, their best contractor walked out on the job and has never returned after starting three of the projects. Now I am stuck with way over paying for 2 of the three tiles I ordered, never receiving the third tile I ordered, and a mess of a house with 3 unfinished projects. I asked for either the tile I ordered, or a refund of $800, and the owner, Rich, said he is keeping the money. If you want tile installed, do not hire this company. read more

Head my Warning Stay away from this company. They are crooks Overall, the experience was horrible. I was talked into getting their laminate flooring for a price point, but it was literally the worst laminate flooring I've ever come across. The flooring will swell up even with the smallest amount of water; I've purchased this type of flooring from other companies that costs less, but has been ten times better. This flooring swells even around the doors, not in a bathroom, and does not go down. The flooring is ruined, and they even installed some of the pieces incorrectly. They talked me into this product just to get a sale, They said it was durable and and excellent product. They are LIARS ... I've had this flooring for barely three months and it is now falling apart little by little every day. One of the peices totally came off. Looks like it is purely Particle board. They let me know they'd send a crew out, but I haven't received any response since. They have the worst Costumer service. After you paid them getting any kind of reply is impossible. They always promise they will send someone to "look" at the floor but no one ever does. Had to take them to court. read more

I was a little nervous since I did not know anything about Floor Depot but I found their salesman Allen to be very helpful and honest. He listened to exactly what we wanted and that's what they provided. The installers did a great job and arrived on time. Their quote was the best we received. Worst experience. I had major flooding in my house at the end of may in 2016. I had demo the same day and I was living with studs only on the first floor. I decided I wanted to replace with a wood looking tile. When I called the store, some guy tried to sell me on their wood, which he guaranteed me would be covered if my dogs scratched it up. I read the warranty and sure enough, it did NOT cover scratches made by my dogs. I should have walked away at that point, as it was clear they didn't know about the product they were selling, and/or were trying to upsale me. Regardless, I showed up to the store and I liked one of their wood looking tiles and I loved the price. I sat down with one of their reps who told me the total cost of the floors. I told him my predicament of also having no walls, and he told me he could get the whole thing fixed for me and would come out and make a quote. Work started almost immediately. The floors went down quickly and I was happy with how things were turning out. Next came the plaster and painting of the walls and placing the baseboards which I was told would take 2-3 days tops. We were stood up about 7-8 times, each time my husband or I would have to take off work and they just wouldn't show up. When they finally did show, they took one look at the job and said it would take WEEKS to finish the job. In the process, they missed several spots, painted my blinds, and cracked a baseboard. I had been patient up until this point, but when I saw the cracked the baseboard, which is a complete eyesore, I demanded it be fixed. They sent someone to fix it, who really just sanded and painted over it, ignoring the fact that it was still completely obvious and hideous. I still threw a fit, and was told that in the end, it would all be fixed. However, it never was. We then had a cleaning lady come out who had been hired by the store. I had initially stated it was something I had wanted because we had dust in cabinets from the demo. She showed up and stated she was just there to clean the floors. I told her to go home because I was paying for someone to clean every inch the house, not just the floors. She finally agreed to stay and this was the only time the floors were cleaned with any products. Otherwise, we only would sweep/vacuum the floors. Meanwhile, Floors Depot showed up to my house, demanding payment even though the job was not completely finished. I did not feel good about paying up, but like an idiot, I paid in full because I don't like confrontation. In the mean time, the epoxy grout they used turned from a taup to a stark WHITE over the next 3-6 months. I had pictures of where it was previously the color it was supposed to be, and how it had turned. They attempted to dye the grout, but the only thing that kept the dye color was my white baseboards, which they promised to come back and paint white again, and they never did. The grout had to be completely removed and in the process they scrapped every single piece of tile, and even left a few huge chunks missing. I kept wondering when they would come back and fix the large chunks and fill in the scrapes. They kept giving me the run around, would not answer calls, phone messages, or kept giving excuses. They would tell me they would be out the next day and then never show. My husband and I would stay home, use vacation/sick time to meet the workmen, who would just not show up. Finally in the end, we found out the guy who had been helping us was fired, and we were just down sh*t creek. I then receive an email several months later, asking me if I had paid in full because they had no record of my job being on file regardless of all my paychecks directly to their store, regardless of all the email exchanges, and regardless of the calls I had made to their store leaving phone messages to the owner asking that he call me because of the disaster that had been occurring. This whole process took over 1 year. I expressed my discontent, said I was contemplating hiring a lawyer at this point, and never heard back from them. My floors look like they are over 10 years old, my white baseboards stained brown. Stay away from this company. They don't care about customer service, they don't care about quality work. read more

Our first purchase was hardwood flooring for our den and tile for the kitchen, and both bathrooms. Installation went as we were told and expected. We have since had matching hardwood floors put in our front living area and had that room painted. We had larger baseboards installed with the floors and are happy with the way they look. We also had crown molding installed in the painted room, which changed the entire look of the room. Glad we went with their recommendation. Installers and painters paid attention to detail. During the process of both jobs, Floors Depot checked on the progress and kept us informed. We have referred them to others and will definitely use them again. read more

We had checked around at other places, and got the best price and better flooring at Floors Depot. We purchased excellent vinyl planks for our kitchen and laundry room first. Our floor was put down perfectly and the crew was very professional, kind, and a joy to have in our home. We love our floor. We came back and purchased all new carpeting for our house. JT was there to help us make the right decision and listened to our needs. This crew was also professional and worked 11 hours putting our carpet down to finish it in one day. They were detailed oriented and a joy to have in our home as well. We would like to give JT and the crew more than 5 stars. I do not know about the other salespeople there, but if you go out be sure to ask for JT. You will be glad you did! read more

Beware!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! If I could rate no stars I would! We had 5 rooms and a closet of carpet installed by Floors Depot TX purchased when they had a relationship with Costco. You would think that a company that sold through Costco would be reputable and stand by their work. The sales job was smooth and believable as their sales people were always friendly. We were told our carpet installation was guaranteed. If the carpet buckled, they would take care of it. Let's say that there was an absence of truth in their statement. So, yes, our carpet buckled. We purchased the better carpet (or was told it was the better carpet) to avoid any problems. Although Floors Depot TX did the work, got fully paid for the materials/work and I have a Floors Depot TX invoice signed by their representative, Floors Depot TX claims that Costco is responsible? I believe that is what the Floors Depot TX comptroller (apparently she said she was in charge and there was no other boss when I asked to speak to someone else) told me as she was yelling at me just right before she hung up the phone. Wow! Customer service at its best. No options. We were old business; they obviously don't care. We spent almost $5600 with Floors Depot TX and the products seem good but if you don't stand behind your work and what you say you will do, what is the point of the good product? read more
