I needed to make an appointment to have my girls' nails done on short notice, and this was the only shop that was available to do four people at the same time. While their nails were getting done, I enjoyed a fantastic pedicure. All five of us walked out very happy with the services that they provided. Service is awful. Canceling appointments or pushing back appointments or flat out just telling you they forgot to put you down when you called. After that they will also tell you they are fully booked for the day and you need to reschedule. WASTE OF TIME! My friend has same experience a couple days prior. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. The first time I came in, I gave 3 stars because the service itself was okay despite the shape of my nails not being good, but the end of the appointment was rushed and awful. I decided to give them a second chance, despite reading all the reviews about how they are continually understaffed, run hours behind, and many of them have bad attitudes, but I went back and my service was much better, although the shape of my nails was not what I asked for and many of them were crooked. I still posted about them on IG and they DM'd me and thanked me so much. The receptionist was very kind, and were the ladies who did my nails, but I still didn't plan on going back because I was disappointed in the shape of my nails and crookedness, especially for the price I paid. However, I did appreciate how nice the receptionist and nail techs were, so I called last Monday to make an appt. No one answered the phone, so I made an appointment on line, which went "unapproved," so I called again Tuesday, same thing. And again Wednesday, same thing. Again Thursday, same thing. on Sunday I needed my nails done for a project and it was last minute, so I called them and when I was on the phone, my dad was rushed to the ER, so I hung up abruptly, and the receptionist was very kind, which I appreciated, so I called them later to reschedule, to which they said they were booked. I called again Monday, no answer, and they declined my online appointment. I called again yesterday, no answer and they declined my online appointment. When I tried again last night to make an appointment, they accepted it this morning. I realized that the time I requested, I actually had a work meeting scheduled so I called this afternoon to reschedule the appointment and no one answered so I tried to do it online and they declined my reschedule request. I called back multiple times and finally someone answered. When they finally answered, I was obviously frustrated and had explained what had been going on for over a week now, and expressed that the fact that they continue to tell me and obviously other people that they are understaffed, combined with never answering and being incredibly odd with appointment acceptances and declines made me feel like they were essentially telling me to screw off and I'd likely go find somewhere new, the receptionist was super apologetic and booked me Mani pedi appt with my requested technicians for tomorrow. An hour later, I got a text from them that my conversation was "inappropriate" and they wouldn't take my appointments, and cancelled both of them. I have never been treated so poorly, so weirdly, and experienced such disrespect and disorganization. The way they jerked me around and wasted so much of my time is unreal. I'm disgusted that I ever spent money here. *editing after the owner comments back -- I never demanded anything, and I asked for the same techs because they were literally the only ones who work there, as the receptionist told me they are continually understaffed. So odd that so many people have my same complaints. Even odder that I had the same nail salon in OC for years and only needed a new one since moving here... truly shocked that the owner would comment back and be not only dishonest, but not own all of the issues and mistakes her staff continually makes.* I attached a photo of the just the wild amount of email they've sent me in the last couple of hours either rescheduling, cancelling, or "reviewing" my appointment requests. The disorganization and disrespect from them is bewildering. I should have followed my gut and never gone back after my first experience, but I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I have truly never experienced such disrespectful behavior towards a client before. read more

Horrible service!!!! My friend and I made appointments for 3:30pm, they told us it would be 5 minutes... 30 minutes later we said we couldn't wait anymore and they said it would only be 5 more minutes. They finally started my friend at 4:30pm. No one came to start on me until 4:45pm and at this point I told them don't bother. They didn't even offer to give us a discount or coupon or anything when it was all said and done. Don't bother making appointments they don't honor them. I understand if places get busy but clearly they need to work on their communication of scheduling/timing. read more

I have mixed feelings about Flora Blanc Studio. The staff was very nice. They offer drinks/snacks and even gave me a discount for the long wait. But, while the salon looks nice, the quality of the manicure I received was quite subpar. I got a gel-x manicure with gel polish and no design. The nail technician who did my nails was quite aggressive when it came to filing the gel-x nails down, causing me to have cuts on multiple of my fingers and cuticles. I had to ask 3 times for her to make my nails even in length, and each time she would ask me if they were even in length instead of checking herself. I would also like to note that some of the gel-x nails ended up being crooked on my finger (never happened before at any other salon so no it is not my fingers that are crooked). read more
