Hungry for a trip to Italy -- no passport required? Swing by Flora D'Italia at Chattahoochee Food Works, where Michelin-starred Chef Steven Ferdinand is serving serious flavour and fun. We're talking 72-hour fermented pizza dough, house-made pasta, ingredients straight from Italy, and names that make you smile. Try the spicy Beltline Blaze or sopressata pie with Calabrian chilli kick, or go wild and build your own masterpiece. My top pick? The potato gnocchi with spinach and mushrooms -- it's fluffy, earthy magic in a bowl. And whatever you do, don't miss the lemon-cream bambolinis -- pillowy, zingy, and just sweet enough. Authentic, playful, and packed with personality -- Flora D'Italia hits all the right spots.

I came into Chattahoocherf food works on a Thursday afternoon and decided to stop by the Flora D'italis inside the food hall. The staff was friendly. I ordered the hot honey pizza. It was available very quickly. The pizza itself was heavy cheese but lots of good flavor. My only negative comment is the the dough is too doughy for this Chicago girl. A crisp crust with theses toppings would be amazing. But if doughy and soft crush is your vibe this is your place. But when here and wanting a quick pizza I would return.

I'm surprised this place doesn't have more reviews. I've had their pizza several times and every time has been so good. Thin crust a plus. Ingredients flavorful. We usually get the Margherita Pizza and add pepperoni and sausage. We definitely be back.

Solid pizza. I order a weekend special, it was ready to go in less than 10 min. Plan on going back and trying some pasta next.

This has become a favorite spot at the food works. The food is very flavorful, and it does not take long for them to prepare it. I recently had their pasta, and it was very good!

I got this to go and ate it at home, but I should've just ate it immediately because it was SO GOOD! Absolutely delicious. This is one of the best pasta spots I've had in Atlanta and would certainly recommend anyone wanting some carbs to grab some grub from here!

this place was average. the pasta didn't really taste fresh even though it was advertised as such. the chicken separated from the breading it was a bit odd. the pizza was better than the pasta but just ok. the vibe of the food court was nice and there are a lot of other places to try!

The 2 people in the store when we went were extremely friendly and very helpful with all the options from the menu. It was so good that we came back a 2nd time to grab some before we got on the plane, and again, it hit the spot. Shame on me as I usually take photos but didn't this time, as we all went straight to eating once back in the car. Which, by the way, paid street parking is required, and the parking meter team is on the grind here, so heed my warning!!

We drove downtown specifically to try out this spot - paid $8 for parking in the lot next to the building. Front space Clean fun inviting feel with handwritten notes on wall. Service: The young lady helping was nice, but we waited at least 10 minutes before she came to the front to greet and assist myself and another customer before me. No pudding available Cobbler: had barely any crust (iyktyk) and the filling could use improvement. I think we were also supposed to get ice cream ? If so we didn't get it. I got the cinnamon roll with apple butter. I thought it would be throughout but it was on top, and the roll itself was a little dry. Purchase 2 peanut butter cookies that were huge for my son. Not sure how they were but he didnt complain so I assume they were good.

We saw some of the really cute things in the window, so we walked in and it did not disappoint. The place was filled with chocolates macaroons and a whole bunch of pastries. You could also order a whole variety of espresso drinks and lattes, etc. It even had a really cute seating area directly outside, but if you could fit yourself inside, there was some bar seating as well. The place is not large however, the cases are definitely filled with a lot of goodies. On this particular day, it did take us a little while to make a decision as there are quite a few choices. However, the two staff members who were here that day were very patient with us. We did walk away with macaroons a lemon meringue tart as well as a Canele. You know what it's in the pictures. I do not have a picture of that because it was eaten before I got a chance to take a picture of it. But everything was so tasty absolute perfection. I don't know who's making this stuff but they are truly talented. I have to come back here again when I'm in Buckhead Village.

Their ube is also excellent - richly flavored, and again not too sweet. I highly recommend getting them swirled. Their drinks are also very good - we have had matcha, oolong, and others. I guess I must've written it off due to the parking situation, and I honestly would've never visited, but a friend suggested coming here, so here I am. It's very, very limited parking. I'm not sure if we're *allowed* to park in the nearby parking lots, and I didn't have to, but if there's only like 6 spaces with barely enough space for cars to pass through entering and exiting... idk, it's not for me, esp when Doraville can get v traffick-y and the turn lanes are just waiting. Interior wise, it's cute. It tries to invoke a sense of Japanese aesthetic with the shoji panels, all the wood and light, the fake flowers, and I don't hate it. It's a fine place to sit and chat, though I feel bad for others who want to visit because again, the parking here sucks. I got their black sesame latte float with a matcha and sakura (seasonal flavor) swirl. The sakura was sweeter than anticipated and not floral, which was a bit disappointing since I didn't like it alone or mixing with the matcha flavor. The black sesame portion was fine. I like the nuttiness of black sesame in general, and I would've loved if they used more for a stronger flavor. The flavor was subtle, and with the ice and soft serve on top, got easily diluted.

Very tight. It was probably cute when they opened but it felt a little muted/old to me.
