This is a 3.5 star review. Overall, the bbq was good but not the best that I've had. A few things that I loved: - the service was great. Every employee there was very nice, checked up on our table multiple times and truly took care of you - the watermelon slushee margarita packs a punch and you will not be disappointed - the location is perfect because there are so many things to do in the area - the restaurant itself is very spacious and perfect for dining with kids or large groups. They also have indoor and outdoor seating Where it was lacking for me was the food. The smoked chicken was good but a bit dry in some areas. The location was easy to get to and the interior was bright and festive. Our server was knowledgeable and kind. Unfortunately the food is where the stars had to fall off. The Texas fries were yummy and the wings were good. Unfortunately, the meats on the plate were dry and funny enough, the one meat that was moist was a substitute. They ran out of spare ribs so we ended up trying the chicken fried ribs and they were the most moist. They had started running out of food by the time we got there so what was left maybe had been sitting for a while? As far as the sides, the Mac n cheese was cheesy and thick but that's about it. Checked out this location for a family dinner. The OG location has been my favorite for years. The first two hours of parking are free in The Works parking deck which is a plus. This location is easy to access across from the food hall. We dined late on a Monday night so unfortunately they were out of ribs but were able to still order a variety of meats. The interior was very spacious and our server was really fun and personable. We started with the fried pickles for the group as an appetizer. The pickles batter was not that appealing but the taste was good. I had the pulled pork sandwich plate with baked beans. The pulled pork had some charred bites so was not a fan which was disappointing as that is usually my go to. My husband had the combo plate with pulled chicken and sausage that he really liked. Placed a to-go order yesterday and decided to grab a mocktail at the bar while I waited. The space gives a typical bbq spot so you can wear casual attire. The service at the to-go station was excellent. He was friendly, thorough, and patient with my questions. Came in for a random date night. I usually do to the Dekalb location. The customer service was good. The restaurant wasn't to packed but we did go in on a workday as well and sat at the bar. I have been to Fox Bros venues multiple times but this is my first time at this location. They have a parking garage and parking lot where you do pay for parking if you stay longer than 2 hours. The two cocktails I ordered are called Ace in the Hole and Cobbler Smash. The Ace in the Hole is a pretty strong drink and is their version of an Old Fashioned. The Cobbler Smash also has bourbon with fruit and syrup to make it sweeter. I like both a lot but I will take the Ace for the alcohol content. For food, I ordered the 2 meat combo with sides. The meat was Brisket with some fat and smoked turkey. Both portions were large and tasted great. The turkey even came with a white sauce. The sides were frito pie which is my favorite and collard greens which tasted amazing and had meat in it. This place got packed quickly for a Thursday. Ended up here with a very large group and they were accommodating with zero issues. I started off with the fried ribs and this is such an easy recommendation. It's salty, juicy, and meaty. I wish more bbq restaurants would try their hand at this. The chicken was smoked perfectly and was still juicy. I've never heard of or seen a frito pie so I knew I had for try it--it was fine but nothing to write home about, which was how I felt about the Brussel sprouts. We stopped in for lunch yesterday and were seated within 5 minutes of arrival and then promptly greeted by our server. I went for the brisket burger (phenomenal) and my boyfriend ordered the wings and ribs combo which he thoroughly enjoyed. Our food was brought out quite quickly and man oh man was it tasty. Whatever sauce they put on the brisket burger is *chef's kiss*. The only item I didn't care for was the cornbread which had jalapeños in it and I'm not a fan. After hearing so much about Fox Bros I was super excited to try this place! According to our very own Yelp, Fox Bros has the #1 burger in the US! To clarify, this technically isn't a burger in the classic sense - it's a brisket sandwich presented in burger fashion. At this location, the famous burger is actually not listed on the menu - there's another menu item called the "World Famous Big Tex" which is also a brisket sandwich, but it's not the same! I clarified this with our waiter before ordering. So is the burger worth the hype?? Kinda - it's good, though pricey ($17), but if you're looking for a true burger this is not it. I disagree that this is THE BEST "burger" in the US but it's not bad by any means. I did get many ooo's and aaaa's from the other people in my party that weren't aware of it. The burger comes with a bag of chips or you can upgrade to a side for an extra $1. Service was great - our waiter was super attentive, often bringing out refills before they were even requested. The inside is spacious and clean. I would highly recommend that this place invest in felt circles for their chairs. When people drag the chair in and out to sit, it scrapes against the floor making a loud and annoying noise. Parking is free for 2 hours in either of the parking decks - just make sure you have the park mobile app to register your car! read more

I have been such a huge fan of Fox Bros for years, so I was excited to finally check out their new location at the Works! Parking at the Works can be tricky, but I think the hype has finally died down and we were able to find parking in the deck pretty easily. They also validate free parking for 2 hours so that was super nice! I love that this new location is so BIG! The original Dekalb Ave location is always so crowded and you can always expect a wait, so I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly we were seated in their new, fresh space. We ordered a half & half platter of fried pickles and jalapeno chips which were delicious and we loved the buttermilk ranch it came with (so zesty!!). For our meal, my friends and I got the Big Tex and smoked chicken. With my Big Tex, I also got an order of mac n cheese. I normally get ribs, so this was my first time trying the Big Tex but this did not disappoint!! I loved how juicy the brisket was, and pickles and mustard cut through in such a great way.
