2 Classic Combo of Ribs w/jalapeño cornbread & Chili Bowl
    A R.

Listen..Listen...for real...This BBQ wanted me to smack the cooks and the staff for being so damn good. My goodness...I've had my fare share of BBQ spots but damn...when I say good it's an understatement. The vibe chill, laid back, nice, the service was great, and the food to qoute Guy Fieri "FLAVOR-TOWN"...of course I had to venture into The BC Plate (had to try it all lol) wifey weathered the Pull Pork sandwhich, young ones went the rib plate route..wow....we came back to Atlanta 2 more times just to eat here lol..highly recommended of your a BBQ fan, or love good flavorfull food in general.

4 Meat Plate - Brisket, Pulled Pork, Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage, and Chicken Fried Ribs with collards and Mac n cheese
    Jaime-Lee B.

The location was easy to get to and the interior was bright and festive. Our server was knowledgeable and kind. Unfortunately the food is where the stars had to fall off. The Texas fries were yummy and the wings were good. Unfortunately, the meats on the plate were dry and funny enough, the one meat that was moist was a substitute. They ran out of spare ribs so we ended up trying the chicken fried ribs and they were the most moist. They had started running out of food by the time we got there so what was left maybe had been sitting for a while? As far as the sides, the Mac n cheese was cheesy and thick but that's about it. The collards were flavorful but not very spicy.

Checked out this location for a family dinner. The OG location has been my favorite for years. The first two hours of parking are free in The Works parking deck which is a plus. This location is easy to access across from the food hall. We dined late on a Monday night so unfortunately they were out of ribs but were able to still order a variety of meats. The interior was very spacious and our server was really fun and personable. We started with the fried pickles for the group as an appetizer. The pickles batter was not that appealing but the taste was good. I had the pulled pork sandwich plate with baked beans. The pulled pork had some charred bites so was not a fan which was disappointing as that is usually my go to. My husband had the combo plate with pulled chicken and sausage that he really liked. Other family members had the mushroom sandwich and smoked wings which they loved. Would give this location another shot but would probably go earlier in the day when there are ribs available and meats are fresh.

This place never disappoints. The food was delicious and flavorful. The service was very efficient and parking it is right across the street. The restaurant has plenty of light and spacious. If you are in this area and wondering what to eat. Lay them a visit. Plenty of sides and plenty of meats.

Placed a to-go order yesterday and decided to grab a mocktail at the bar while I waited. The space gives a typical bbq spot so you can wear casual attire. The service at the to-go station was excellent. He was friendly, thorough, and patient with my questions. The bartender, on the other hand, seemed like she didn't want to be bothered, but honestly...the food completely redeemed the experience. The food. The food. The food. 10/10. The brisket? Falls apart the moment you pick it up and is packed with flavor. The ribs have this perfect touch of sweetness that takes them over the top. And the wings? smoky, juicy, and well-seasoned. Honestly ate everything without the sauce. It was THAT good! My husband eats BBQ a lot and we've been to plenty of places, but this is by far the best BBQ I've had in Georgia. Already planning our next visit!

Fox Bros is one of my family's go to spots for when they have guests in town in Atlanta. There's a wide variety of meats and a little of something for everyone when it comes to sides. Highlights for me were the pulled chicken and the blue cheese wedge. There are also lots of options for the bbq experts who want different cuts and ways of cooking. We always order double of the mac and cheese. The servers are attentive and the overall atmosphere is very casual.

I've always enjoyed FB but never actually ate IN a restaurant. I enjoyed the vibes of this space. Not too crowded. The staff was very helpful and had a great vibe. The bar has an outdoor walk up which I thought was cool! We got a rib plate and a jalapeno cheddar sausage. I had a frozen sangria and he had the frozen limeade with a shot of tequila. I enjoyed this location & plan to visit others.

Came here for dinner on a Tuesday night. We were able to easily find parking (free your first two hours) and then were seated right away. We started our meal off with delicious margaritas and the jalapeño cheddar sausage & pimento cheese both were favorites of the the meal. Overall a solid casual spot for yummy BBQ at a decent price with good service.

Smelled so good we had to try. I was in Atlanta for work and I always try and grab some bbq when I'm in the south. Everyone staff person was really warm and friendly. We went on a Monday so there was 0 crowd but I heard it gets busy on the weekends. Brisket was tasty and I was told you judge a bbq place on their Brunswick stew. Theirs was great! Mac and cheese always a go to fav. Would come back again!

I was so wanting to love this place, boy was I disappointed!! The service, location and outdoor sitting is totally my vibe! But the food is where everything went wrong! I ordered ribs, brisket, greens and Frito pie ... The sides were decent, but the ribs and brisket were the worst I've ever had! The ribs were dry and hard! They weee almost the texture of jerky! The brisket was dry and it appeared to be old!!! I may give the original location a try!! Maybe!! But I'll never come back to this location!

Came in for a random date night. I usually do to the Dekalb location. The customer service was good. The restaurant wasn't to packed but we did go in on a workday as well and sat at the bar. We started off with a Frose which was sweet and refreshing. My boyfriend had a drink tequila based cocktail. They ran out of bbq ribs so we got a order of fried ribs and a dinner plate with fried ribs. The collard greens were good! But the mac n cheese wasn't what I was use to. It was super dry and lacked flavor.

This place is always a treat. This time I had the chicken salad and it did not disappoint. If you're not a chicken salad person get the smoked turkey or brisket fries. You really can't beat the service and location.

Is there usually enough bbq by 7pm to bring a big group of around 10? Or does the bbq start selling out much earlier?

I went around 8pm on Saturday. They were low on smoked turkey. They had everything else. There was loads of people coming after us. I think you'll be fine

We had to make a decision quickly when we were pivoting, and when we came across the great reviews and photos of the food. we didn't think twice about checking to see if we could make it happen. When we arrived, the staff was already preparing our table, so we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The space is pretty tight, and you're going to be close to the tables near you, but we were able to sit comfortably. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders, and afterward she came back to answer any questions. Most of the food was ready at the same time. We appreciated that it came out as it was ready and wasn't left sitting. And everyone enjoyed the food! The only "complaint" one of my friends had was that she thought there was a little too much sauce in her shrimp and grits dish. She felt that the sauce, while it tasted great, overpowered the dish and she would've liked to taste more of the grits flavor. All in all, I'd say we'll likely be back to try something else on the menu.

One thing I really loved was the photo booth outside in the parking garage--it was such a fun touch and made the visit even more memorable. The only downside was the parking. Unless you're lucky enough to find street parking, you'll have to park in the garage, which wasn't my favorite. Other than that, everything was great. The bartender was incredibly kind and patient, especially since I'm very picky about drinks. She helped me choose one that I ended up loving. The atmosphere inside was also really nice, with a fun and welcoming vibe. I'd definitely come back!

SUPER unimpressed with my visit here…read more Based on the decor, especially the photo area in the parking deck and the fake flower arch outside, my first impression was that this was going to be a "TikTok trap": a restaurant focused more on aesthetics than food or service. Unfortunately, that impression ended up being accurate. It took forever for our food to come out. The parties around us were clearly frustrated as well. I watched one table become visibly irritated, while another guest stopped a server to ask if the food being carried out was theirs because they had apparently been waiting over an hour. As the wait dragged on, I started paying closer attention to the decor, which I personally found tacky and gimmicky, especially the fake greenery hanging across the ceiling. The fried green tomatoes and sweet heat wings were really good, and I started to rethink my initial assessment of the restaurant. Everything went downhill from there. My "Rich Boy" sandwich itself was good, but it came with completely unseasoned fries. When I mentioned that I was supposed to have the "Rolex" fries, the server told me the plain fries were what I got. After clarifying with another server, they brought out the actual "Rolex" fries, which appeared to just be fries with a little parmesan and parsley on top. Supposedly they were truffle fries, but there wasn't even a hint of truffle flavor. My partner ordered the veggie sausage, which was overcooked and dry. Their eggs came out over easy instead of over medium, and the "signature grits" were more like cream cheese with a little bit of grits mixed in. We were told more grits would be brought out, but they never came. Another person in my party ordered the Southern seafood pasta, which had literally one piece of spinach in it. When she asked about it, the server responded that there was "more spinach coming." At that point, it became clear that Barney's is selling the illusion of luxury in order to justify premium prices for subpar food and service. It really was a TikTok trap after all. To make matters worse, when the check came, we were charged an additional $1.50 for eggs that already came with the meal. The explanation was that the eggs "came from the shell." Others in my party were also charged extra for liquor on top of the listed menu price for their drinks. Overall, I absolutely did not enjoy my experience here, and I will not be returning. Oh, and that other party that was visibly irritated with the wait had to wait even longer because there was a hair in their food.

I only found out when I got the bill. When I questioned it, she basically said she couldn't control the system. My issue isn't even the $3. If you're out of the side that comes with the meal, customers shouldn't have to pay extra for a replacement. And I definitely don't appreciate surprise charges on my bill. I had my child with me, so I wasn't about to go back and forth over $3. I paid it and kept it moving. Another surprise was that they don't offer free water. If you want water, you have to buy a bottle. Between paying for parking, paying for bottled water, and no drink refills, the little charges started adding up. I felt "nickled and dimed." The music couldn't decide what vibe it wanted. One minute we could talk normally, and the next minute we were basically at a concert. There was also a leak in the ceiling, and near the restrooms there was a smell that reminded me of old wet towels. On the positive side, the host was amazing. He was super personable and welcoming. They also turn those tables over FAST. By the time we paid, our dishes were gone and the table was already cleaned and ready for the next group. The food is what saved this review.
