Came here this past Saturday for a 1pm tasting with some friends who are members here. We sat upstairs (then downstairs lol) outside and were served by Christian. November is the perfect time to wine taste in Napa in my opinion, it's not crowded but the weather is still so nice. Pros: - TRULY delicious wine. We did all reds and they started us off with a welcome Rose, which surprisingly was extremely good (it was more red than the typical rose) - Christian was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable asking questions even if the questions were super simple, I like that the place is boujee but doesn't give off an uppity vibe and the vibe of the staff really made me want to get more into wine knowledge! - extremely cute and aesthetic but simple vibes, the view upstairs speaks for itself so it doesn't require a ton of cheesy decor. Very relaxing environment - The top wines that stood out to me are the Rutherford Hillside 2015 and the legacy 2018. Ended up going home with a bottle of the legacy ($195 ish). - This was definitely the most "expensive" winery I've ever visited (based on bottle price) but I feel like I learned a ton about the winery, Napa in general, and everything tasted SO. GOOD. I have no regrets. - The breadsticks are so buttery and delicious. I 100% understand why my friends are members here. - Flora Springs was kind enough to let our friends' 20% discount apply to the bottles we took home! Which really makes a difference when the wines are 100-200 bucks each. But they do have some more "affordable" options to take home too in the 50-70 range. - Many spots to take cute photos - Kept our waters filled the whole time, let us take home free pens - Plenty of easy parking Cons: - none. 10/10 would love to come back and join the club when I make more money LOL read more

One of my favorite tasting rooms. The wine is fantastic, I don't think I've had one bad wine from flora springs. Everyone is extremely nice and attentive. Downside- in a valley full of fantastic properties, this is only a tasting room and some rooms have a conference room kind of a vibe. We came here right after going to v sattui since it was right across the street. Staff here were super friendly, you could tell they were really passionate about their wine! Their wines were fantastic! We bought a bottle of one of their white wines, soliloquy was the name of it. A lot of the wineries will not let you in without a reservation. We did not have one at Flora Springs and they greeted us warmly when we walked in. I recommend checking them out on your trip out to Napa! read more

Oh my! I just realized that after being a club member for many years I have not written a review. With that said, Flora Springs wines and tasting room are a "hidden gem". Excellent, small batch wines enjoyed in a very relaxed environment. I highly recommend making a reservation and spending a couple hours learning about and enjoying their wines. Who knows, maybe you'll become a cub member too, and receive their always fun wines in etched and painted bottles for the holidays! A must go! Yes, definitely this is a must go on your trip to Napa Valley. When I went I decided to get the wine tasting and it was amazing because it was upstairs, I enjoyed the view, I enjoyed all the wines that I was able to try, and it was beautiful. The service was outstanding and like I said before that view is to die for. You can park there and then just walk around you can sit downstairs also and have a wonderful view and the service was phenomenal as they told you the story of this family owned company which makes it more special. read more

Our experience here was excellent, thanks to Ignacio. Great conversation and ambiance. I was so disappointed with our experience at the winery across that I told my husband we won't be coming back to Napa. This place made up for our bad experience elsewhere. We were seated in their private alcove, not out in picnic tables with insects, given proper wine glass, not a small plastic cup, and treated very well. They even allow kids, bonus points there especially that majority of wineries and tasting rooms in Napa are not kid friendly anymore. Ignacio was so attentive to my kids who devoured the bread sticks and asked for several refills. My favorite is the Pinot Noir, ended up with 3 bottles to take home. After eating at Flora Springs Winery and liking their 2013 "Wild Boar" Cabernet wine, we ordered and had shipping a mixed case. After storing the wine properly at 55 degrees horizontally, I recently opened a bottle of the Wild Boar only to find it completely EMPTY. The original seal and cork were in place, but the bottle was EMPTY. I contacted Flora Springs and was told it "never happens"....well, i know a Manager at Total Wine who confirmed that they receive empty bottles from time to time, including Flora Springs. They always receive credits or adjustments for empty bottles. I'm not Total Wine...just one customer. The results of my call to Flora Springs expecting them to cordially replace the bottle, they explained that due to a recent sale of the business, they could not find my 12 bottle purchase and they will not honor the EMPTY bottle with a replacement bottle. They abdicated any responsibility, nor did they make any gesture to keep me as a Flora Springs customer. They just blew me off, and with it their reputation which they must have paid a lot of money for in the purchase from the prior owner. Of course, I have advised the several wine clubs I belong to and they as well have removed Flora Springs from their libraries of red wines. I bet the new ownership of Flora Springs will never know of my compliant, unless someone sends this Yelp review. Its very true, " relationships and brand promises built over decades can be destroyed in minutes"...it happened here. Buy Flora Springs products at your own risk, and be prepared for them to not honor any complaint! read more

I love this brand. Did not book a tasting, was not on our agenda but we had an hour to kill and went in around 10 AM. Sat outside for a tasting of exceptional cabs, asked if they offered petit Verdot and it was my lucky day because holy cow do they ever do Petit Verdot. Bought a case and more cabs. I've been drinking their wine for over 20 years. I've never tasted a bad red wine from them. I was recently in St. Helena and stopped into their tasting room with a last minute appointment. Tom helped us. He was amazing! We loved all of the wines and he was very friendly and informative. I highly recommend Flora Springs Wines and their tasting room. I also love that if you make a significant purchase, they will waive your tasting fee. That's what all of the wineries used to do back in the day but most of them are greedy now and will not. read more

Jessie was great! We came in today with no reservation just to taste quickly and buy some wine. Jessie was very accommodating and decent to us despite not having a reservation. So often these days people would turn you away not realizing you're potentially going to buy cases of wine. Jessie was so gracious and we really appreciated that. We haven't been to the Napa Valley since before the pandemic. I was shocked at how much things have changed. I'm not used to the reservation system, so that was a bit of a learning curve (FWIW, I like it). We tend to go to 1-2 tasting rooms to see what's new, and to buy wine. Reservations screen out a lot of people, and that is not a bad thing. I wish I could remember the name of our host. She was just wonderful as was her partner-in-crime. We were not rushed at all. We got to taste some things that were not on the list. They were so gracious that we not only bought wine, we re-joined their club. I'll update this review with names when we go back - which we will. Came to flora springs after being across the street at V. Sattui. We were about 30 minutes late to our reservation and they were extremely accommodating and understanding. We sat outside upstairs on the patio and felt it was private and fun. The only downside is there wasn't any music in the area we were sitting at. We were able to go across the parking lot and enjoy our food while doing our tasting. The tasting was generous and was able to be tailored to your taste. Our favorite was one of the Chardonnays. I definitely recommend trying out this place for the architecture, wines, and friendliness of employees. read more

Actually, the entire Napa Valley is quite pretentious these days; however, the hospitality here is warm and enjoyable like kicking it at home, except my patio needs some TLC...ain't nobody got time for that. We have been drinking FS Trilogy for couple of years but this was the first time we visited their tasting room. The decor is not that tasteful, however, the wine certainly is. What a great surprise to find more Sangiovese grape wines in Napa, our host (young lady with blonde hair and I am embarrassed to say I forgot her name) was very nice and knowledgeable and we will definitely go back. Party of 14 for a friend's birthday. It was a hot day. We were the lone party seated outside. We thought awesome, better service! Wrong. We rarely saw our host pourer. It was as if he wanted to stay cool inside while we were sitting under the scorching sun. Our tasting took forever. There were ~10-15 minute gaps between each pour. Maybe he thought we needed time to savor the wine? Sure! Except the pours were unbelievably stingy! Signature tasting: $20 Reserved tasting: $35. My friend got the reserved and it was not very good. Visited this place for the first time on a girls day trip to wine country. I really liked the vibe of this place. Classy and laid back. Our wine guy was really informative...even gave us some good recs on where to go for lunch (mental note: must try the duck fat fries at Goose and Gander). It may be the only winery with a replica of Aragorn's sword from "Lord of the Rings." The hosts are a friendly group, and tastings are leisurely. Tasting experiences range in price from $35-80. They have their own signature blends, Soliloquy and Trilogy. The former is a light dessert wine. They're known for their cabs, but their Sauvignon Blanc is underrated. Sweet, light, delicious. My wife and I like the big bold cabs and blends which there are many great ones to choose from. The 2018 Three Keys cabernet is so good and for the money you won't find a better cab in Napa, honestly.. Our group of 40-50 had lunch here outside on the patio with the wonderful view of the vineyards. The outside of the winery didn't look like much, but there were a lot of barrels of wine inside and we had our wine tasting there. I really liked the aspect of tasting from the Hungarian and French oak barrels - it was a first for me. You can really taste the "woodiness" and I liked the experience, even though I didn't like the wine much (I'm a sparkling wine person). After lunch, we walked around the vineyards and ate some grapes off the vines. I don't know if we are allowed to do that, but that was a first as well and I liked it. read more

Located on the west/left side as you drive north. Once you park, you can walk north to a deli to soak up the delicious tastings of wine. I've been stopping off here off and on for more than a decade. Always good pours!! This time I sampled the Trilogy, Merlot and the Bodacious. ALL really really good. I still have a 2004, 2005 and 2006 Trilogy in my cooler plus a Holy Smoke 2010 and Wild Boar 09. love love loved this place! we had sooo much fun.. first of all we ended up at the wrong location...our fault entirely...but it ended up being good. we went to the winery (they were expecting us at the tasting room)...the folks at the winery squeezed us in and gave us what they called a "mini tour & tasting"...i thought it was amazing! they also called down to the tasting room and let them know that we were still showing up. we were helped by two wonderful guys here...james was primarily helping and we met his coworker/bandmate/tom hanks jr. James gave us a sampling of multiple wines here...each one better than the last. i absolutely need to spend another hour or 2 at Flora springs! thank you Flora, James and Tom Hanks jr (that's so not his name...but i thought he looks like a young tom hanks) we had a lovely experience! read more

Our favorite winery. It has outstanding views and I really enjoy the style of the buildings. The inside decor is very nice. I really like the photo of the owner when she was very young. The guide was very friendly, helpful and informative. They have another building where they store hundreds of barrels of aging wine. We had a fantastic experience and every single wine that we tasted was phenomenal. We ended up buying a lot of wine bottles of our favorites, which waives the tasting fee. We didn't do the membership because we didn't want a commitment. We want to buy as we need - which will be soon! Came here for the Estate Tour & Tasting. Also stopped by their tasting room on St. Helena Highway. The tour was great, I enjoyed walking through the caves and learning about the barrels used for aging. Beautiful Estate grounds. Bob in the tasting room was very knowledgeable and friendly. I went pretty aggressive with the tastings. I tasted their Family Select and Dashaway Chardonnay. While the Dashaway is slightly more expensive, I thought it was worth paying up for and bought a couple bottles. Their Merlot is a great deal at $35. The Trilogy is probably their most popular and I thought it would go great with some grilled meats so I bought a few bottles of that. My favorite wines were their Out of Sight and Holy Smoke Cabernet Sauvignon. Two of the best Cabs I've ever had! read more
