Our whole family had a wonderful experience here at Alpha Omega Winery. We were a large group of 9 ranging from a 7 month old baby to 73 year old seniors celebrating my mom's 70th birthday. The best thing about Alpha Omega is that is that it's very family friendly. Not many wineries welcome children and this location was very accommodating. Our children were well behaved, I kept them occupied with lots of arts and craft activities, but my child still end up knocking over a glass of wine. Our server Jokayla was so gracious with us and helped us clean up. She was also very accommodating with everyone's taste preferences and offered customized recommendations for us. This is one of the wineries that did not require an upfront charge to enter which I appreciate so much. Not everyone in our party drank. Up to 2 adults can share a $75 flight of wine. If you purchase 2 or more bottles of wine, the tasting fee is waived. The pours are also plenty so this is a great deal. I just loved their flexibility. Valet parking was free! The winery is upscale, with beautiful views of the vineyard and the water fountain if you get terrace seating. We had reservations for 10:30am and had front row at the terrace. We had a relaxing time and this is one winery I will highly recommend to families. 100% we will come back and enjoy this beautiful location and great service! read more

My husband and I had an incredible experience at Alpha Omega. The setting is absolutely beautiful, and the views alone make it worth a visit, but what really made the experience special was our host, Mike. We each chose different tasting flights so we could try a wider variety of wines, and Mike did a fantastic job walking us through everything. Since one in my party only drinks white wine, they were able to accommodate her as the rest of us rolled through the reds. Family-friendly winery! :) Made reservations here since we had plans to take our kids to Napa for the weekend. We had the outdoor seating and it was very relaxing! We had a nice view of the waterfall and vineyards behind. Husband and I both enjoyed a tasting each while our kids played around on the grass area. We had a wonderful experience at Alpha Omega. We did a wine tasting in the afternoon and sat on the outdoor patio, which was lovely, with a view of the fountain and the vineyards. I visited Alpha Omega Winery with my parents and my one-year-old daughter during a family vacation. We chose this winery because of its excellent reputation and because we had heard it was family-friendly. The wines were outstanding and are the reason I'm giving two stars instead of one. Unfortunately, the hospitality did not match the quality of the wine. When we requested outdoor seating because the indoor area only had high chairs that felt unsafe and uncomfortable while holding a baby, the hostess seemed impatient and responded, "I doubt that" when we mentioned the rain appeared to be stopping. After we were seated outside, our server was distant, rarely engaged with us beyond introducing each wine, and appeared uninterested in conversation. What disappointed me most was seeing the same server interact much more warmly and proactively with another group nearby. I cannot know the reason, but as an Asian family with a young child, we left feeling unwelcome and treated differently. Despite the experience, I still purchased six bottles because I genuinely enjoyed the wines. I had a great experience at Alpha Omega Winery Tasting Room. I sat at the bar and was attended by Christina, who made the visit truly memorable. She was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, taking the time to answer all of our questions about the wines, grape varieties, soil, and the entire winemaking process. We've driven by this winery many times and always admired the beautiful fountains, so on a recent trip we planned a tasting here. The place is even more grand and beautiful when you get to it from the main road. My wife and I decided to do a mini-moon day trip to Napa and when looking up dog-friendly wineries, Alpha Omega was a must see, so we made the reservation! As soon as you get onto the property, you can feel the pristine and elegance. It is definitely one of the most aesthetic wineries I've ever been to, even down to the outdoor tasting area which featured a fountain! We were seated right away and got a glass of complimentary rose to start off. There are 3 tastings to pick from and we went with the Single Vineyard Tasting ($125) and the Signature Selections ($75). Let me start by saying, the pours are fat here and given how delicious each wine was, we thoroughly enjoyed it! Our server did a great job explaining all the wine origins to us, and even gave us a complimentary glass to compare one of the wines we happened to rank last. In the end, it was an amazing experience and the only thing missing was some food to pair! We ended up getting 2 bottles to go and they were kind enough to comp our tasting for the day so that was super nice. 8/19/23 Napa Valley Alpha Omega Winery, just a quick stop, no reservations. We rolled in at about noon & we were greeted & directed to the area to park for guests without reservations. It's a small vineyard and I read that you may visit w/o reservations if you're not intending to the wine tasting or tour. We just wanted to see the grounds & get a feel for it. There were several unoccupied tables in the outdoor patio where we could've been accommodated if we wanted. We walked along the grapevines & noticed it is definitely a small winery. We love Alpha Omega! We've been members here for several years now and always love the wine, the space itself and the staffing. Pre Covid there did come a time when it was really challenging to make an appointment here even with weeks advanced notice, which as a member was always really frustrating. Similar to other places in the valley that seems to have shifted and we've been able to consistently get a reservation. A lot of their staff have worked there for years, which we always see as a positive sign of how the employees are treated. My fiancé and I stopped here for our Napa winery visit. We did a reservation in advance. The reservation did not require paying ahead-- and we selected the type of tasting upon arrival/seating. This winery will waive one tasting for the purchase of two wine bottles. The wines were fantastic. I will say definitely on the pricier side 100%. We felt like it was a little sales-y. We still left with bottles with the intention of holding them for the holidays. Our wine helper was great-- he explained everything and let us try wines we were interested in purchasing of course. He also let me try different wines when I wasn't interested in the tasting menu as much. From a southern Californian perspective, the whole reservation process and intimate experience was a bit weird for me. I'm used to a different atmosphere where you can simply walk in and it not be awkward during your tasting. The entire wine valley up here was on that reservation side. This one was less awkward for sure but I think it depends on who gets assigned to your tasting experience. Ours was great he gave us tips and tricks to approach the valley and his personal opinions. Will we return? Absolutely. The wines are so so good. If you're looking for a good introduction to Napa wine country this is a GREAT place to start. Nestled in Rutherford, Alpha Omega offers one of the finest enological experiences in Napa, from the picturesque view of the mountains to the serene reflecting pool and its four jets...oh, and some of the smoothest wine on this planet. Their Era is simply divine, as well as their proprietary blends. Staff are always knowledgeable and courteous and will often let us revisit old favorites. It's sparkling and flat water are offered to cleanse the palate between tastings. No wine offered ever disappoints. Enjoyed this place! The wine was pretty decent but very expensive. We did the middle tier $100 tasting (4 single AVAs - a Chardonnay and 3 cabs with a bonus Pinot pour bc I said I loved Pinots and a bonus pour of the sleeping lady cab future). Each bottle was about $140-$170, including the Chardonnay ($160). The Chardonnay wasn't bad. I tried both the cheaper first tier ($86) and the second tier ($160). The second was better but couldn't justify the cost. I really enjoyed the Oak Knoll 2020 cab ($170). I bought one bottle of the cheaper Chardonnay ($86) and two of the Oak Knoll cabs - shipping to NY was $30. The $100 tasting fee was waived with a 2-bottle purchase. They also offer a 10% Napa Neighbor discount for locals. Our server Mo was friendly, funny and entertaining. Full of energy and lots of fun. The tasting experience is just outdoor tables overlooking the fountain. Nothing too crazy but it was pretty. Overall, we had a great time! read more
