I needed a couple of arrangements for my dad's funeral and this place did a beautiful job. But let me back up a little bit. I almost got the flowers through the mortuary but thought their prices were a bit steep so I decided to look around before deciding. Take away lesson: Don't buy flowers from the mortuary if you are trying to save money. I paid half for my flowers through the Floral Gallery than if I had gotten them through the mortuary. And their service and customization was so much better. So Mia helped me and she was wonderful. She gave great advice about the design of our arrangements and they turned out beautiful. I will include a photo below but know that the photo was taken 5 days after the funeral so it's not looking as fresh as it did on day 1 but it's to show the arrangement. Also, they called to confirm the day before and verified my order. On the day of the funeral they were on early. So I am very satisfied with the service I received here and thankful for the time they took with me to make the arrangements wonderful.
I don't normally write reviews, but this time I absolutely feel the need to warn people about this place, especially anyone looking for wedding flowers. I contacted this florist a week before my civil courthouse ceremony and was originally quoted $100 for a bouquet. When I explained that I wanted something simple and small, they said it could be around $80 since it was for a civil wedding. Fast-forward to the day I showed up to place the order,suddenly the price became $100-$120. I even showed a photo from Instagram for inspiration. Instead of helping or offering alternatives anywhere close to what I showed, the florist told me I couldn't have any of those flowers because they were "too expensive." Honestly--what kind of flowers can't be covered under a $100 for a small bouquet these days? So I kept it simple. I asked for roses, tulips, and calla lilies (if possible). The florist immediately said calla lilies were "too expensive," so I told her fine--just do the best bouquet possible within the $100 budget. Then came the actual wedding day... My husband went to pick up the bouquet, and the florist handed it to him completely unboxed, expecting him to carry it loose while driving. He had to walk back in and ask for any kind of packaging. The "packaging" we received was a beat-up box that looked like it had been reused ten times. But let's put the packaging aside for a moment... The bouquet itself was SHOCKINGLY bad. Please look at the photos because words don't do it justice: * The small purple filler flowers were missing petals. * Several roses were already turning yellow and brown--wilted and cabbage-like. * And the best part? The calla lily she REFUSED to include because it was "too expensive" suddenly appeared--but it was the worst, lowest-quality one she could have chosen. Why bother putting it in at all? The entire bouquet looked like something pulled from the discount bin the day after Mother's Day, not something created for a wedding. For something as special and meaningful as a wedding--civil or not--DO NOT COME HERE. Save yourself the stress and disappointment. I genuinely wish I had gone literally anywhere else.
Flowers are often given for the most meaningful, impactful, and important moments in our lives. I'm so lucky that I found a local florist to make arrangements for all of the special moments in my life. I've had arrangements made for graduations, birthdays, simple gifts, and for my best friend's wedding bouquet. The team here is responsive, quick, and reliable when it comes to processing orders. I simply tell them a general idea of the colors I want and for what occasion I'm buying the flowers for and they hand-craft a beautiful arrangement for me every time. I trust their vision, craft, and creativity. The value is worth it! They're always reasonable and affordable with their prices. They've also made a couple of same-day arrangements for me on those days where I need something done quickly. I always share this business with a friend who needs some flowers. Don't go to big guys (Von's or Trader Joe's in Mira Mesa). Go support this small business ran by the sweetest couple of owners I've ever met. 5/5, A+ - I cannot wait for all of the future moments that will be made even more memorable with flowers from this place.
$60... i think I've been ripped off. I think it's nice and the owner even added the ribbons for me which is really sweet, but not worth $60. If you look at other bouquets they have put together, they def give more flowers for smaller budget. I wanted something big, so I told her $60, and this is what I got... I'm kinda disappointed now. :(
We ordered flowers from The Flower Gallery for the first time this morning for a friend whose sister passed away. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL and looked like the photo on the website. The prices offered were good as well. And the delivery was quick. I highly recommend this florist. Last year we ordered flowers for a friend from a different florist and spent over $100 on the arrangement, but what they sent was so dinky and pathetic and looked nothing like the photo on the website. When we saw what was sent, we were so embarrassed. So, needless to say, today's bouquet ordered from The Flower Gallery not only exceeded our expectations, but they will be our go-to florist from now on.
I walked in prepared to be told they closed as I arrived a few minutes after time was posted. But I was immediately greeted from the back with the warmest welcome and asked how can they help. I want to thank the sweetest lady who wrapped a simple but beautiful bright bouquet for me on a whim and a tell of my mom's favorite flower for her birthday in heaven.
Beautiful floral shop with a great selection! I stopped by to pick up flowers for my mom's birthday and I was so impressed with the already made selection. There was a lot to choose from, ranging from $25 to $60. These all come with vases, looked beautiful, and smelled so fresh. They have a nice selection of celebratory cards that would go on top of the flowers for free too! It's a mom and pop shop that delivers quality service. I was in and out in 5 minutes with the most gorgeous bouquet that didn't break the bank. Honestly, the whole experience was great. I recommend coming here to support a small business rather than Von's/Costco for your flower needs.
My florist backed out of our wedding a bit less than two weeks before the event. I walked in to the Floral Gallery with about 10 days to go, and they very kindly took me on as long as I was ok with picking up the arrangements; they couldn't deliver as they were already committed to another wedding on the same day. This was more than fair, and they managed to make me my bouquet, about 60 ft of garland, 4 corsages and 5 boutonnieres. Everything was lovely and the garlands smelled amazing. I am very thankful and would gladly be a customer again. I wasn't carrying my phone day of (no pockets) and we haven't got our pictures back from the photographer yet, so unfortunately I'll have to remember to come back with shots of the bouquet and wearables. Luckily several people have shared pictures of the garlands with us because they were so pretty, so here's one of those.

i ordered a floral spray a 5 days before a funeral, & Mia's work was way beautiful! The flowers looked so bright & fresh, & it was exactly what i was hoping for. Thank you so much Mia! They delivered it to the nearby cemetery El Camino Memorial for only $10! It was a perfect arrangement & experience. Ordering online was so easy too.

I can't recommend this place enough! My mom brought me a flower arrangement for my birthday, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The flowers were so fresh, and lasted much longer compared to other places I've gotten flowers from. My mom doesn't speak English very well, but it turns out that the owner of the shop is Korean too! She gave my mom many different ideas and price point options for the arrangement. I really appreciate how thoroughly she helped my mom through the process. I've never seen her more excited to share about her experience at a store before. Thank you so so much for the beautiful flowers, and for being so kind to my mom. This was the first time I ordered flowers from the Floral Gallery and so glad I did! The florist was so kind and willing to work within my budget. She made my mom's birthday bouquet amazing. The presentation on the bouquets if you don't get a vase is impressive. I will definitely order from here again! read more

I was in need of flowers for a very sad occasion and was looking for the best florist in the San Diego area, and I saw their Yelp page. Not only did the flowers look very fresh, but the arrangements looked very well balanced - texture and colorwise. I had a feeling they were going to be able to deliver what I was looking for. Not only that, but their website was so clear about the pricing and I love when a flower shop isn't afraid to say what their prices are, because honestly their work speaks for themselves. Both arrangements I ordered were beyond gorgeous and so beautifully executed. I have only known 1 other florist whose work has been sublime, and I can say with full confidence, this is THE BEST flower shop I have ever ordered flowers from (even better than the ones in NYC, where I'm from). We found Mia and Vivian 2 weeks before our wedding. We had very tight budget at the time and we are very high maintenance persons. I'm the bride and I was very much worried that they can meets our needs within such tight budget. Since we actually sourced different florists and some of them give very expensive quote saying they only provide expensive flowers. We finally went to The floral gallery and kind of bet on them. Our wedding was at Del Mar beach Seagrove Park. At the day it was super windy and the arch can't even stands. Mia refused to put the flowers on even our coordinator insisted to ask to do so. Then the coordinator had to find things to stabilized the arch first which evidently proved that Mia is totally right!!! The arch would otherwise fail in the wind... can you imagine that? Me and my husband we both very appreciated her responsive to our wedding. The flowers are very fresh and designed stunningly. We take the center piece back to home and it still lasts more than a week. Everyone likes our flowers and can't believe the cost too... I don't have a cake photo yet but the cake flower design was fabulous too!!! read more

It is just not what I expected, and the flowers are of inferior quality. I ordered what's in the first picture, with dark pink asiatic lilies. What I got is in the second picture. The lilies are of totally different color, and it does not look fresh at all. read more

A huge thank you goes to the Floral Gallery. It was my mom's birthday & I wanted to send her a bouquet of carnations, her favorite. I tried going online to your typical floral sites but nothing caught my eye plus every bouquet that had carnations also had some additional flowers that I did not want in the bouquet. I decided to try my luck just calling one of the local shops in her area. I am so happy that I did. Lady on the phone, whose name I unfortunately don't recall, went above & beyond to help me. She promised to make a nice carnation arrangement that would be delivered the same day. She was even kind enough to text me a picture when it was ready to make sure it was to my liking. I got the bejeweled beauty bouquet. They were out of the purple vase but they still came out beautifully. You never know how the flowers will look when ordering online but The Floral Gallery exceeded my expectations and brought happiness to my sister during a time of sadness. Thank you! read more

I called at 9:30am and a woman named Sherry came on the phone. She was sooooooo helpful. I told her I was looking online and I like two very distinct and very different bouquets. She walked me through what I liked about each arraignment and voila she combined both in a fabulous way. Her customer service was superb and my sister loved the flowers! She received it before 1pm. I bookmarked this florist for future business! This is a wonderful shop. read more

They have a large selection of flowers to choose from. This flower shop is kinda hidden but it is definitely a gem. The shop lady is always so kind and easy to talk too. She was quick with her work and creates always a beautiful set of flowers. read more
