Completely satisfied ordering flowers from Scheffler's. Twice in the last month I ordered flowers to be sent to our daughter-in-law while she was in Central DuPage Hospital. The first florist did a disappointing job, considering what I paid for the flowers. So the second time I tried Scheffler's. What a difference! Same day delivery of a wonderful arrangement. We were told how great they are and that all the nurse were complimenting them. No such comments about the first arrangement, beyond the standard thank you. And rightly so. I'm now a Scheffler's fan. Also, I can't believe I'm writing the first review for this great florist. Now I understand why Yelp has sent Jelena to conquer Chicago's western suburbs. read more

This birthday, I received flowers from a number of local florist and Scheffer's won top prize. The longevity of the flowers is way above the other arrangements as are the beauty of the flowers. Friendly staff helped me pick something out for a friend having surgery in the hospital across the street. Price was decent. Wrapped it up nicely. Only problem is I don't know anything about plants/flowers, and asked for a fern. What I received looked like a fern to me, but actually turned out to be a form of palm, which apparently has completely different watering/light requirements so she almost killed it in the first two weeks of having it. :( read more

I needed some last minute flowers, and had in mind what I wanted for one of them. I called around based on yelp reviews and had trouble finding anyone that would or could do what I was looking for. I then called Scheffler's and she seemed to be confident that she could do what I was asking for and within the tight timeframe I had. When I got there (and they now work out of their garage), the flowers were beyond everything I had envisioned. The first time in my life I have ordered flowers and felt I had gotten a great value. I only wish I had taken a picture of them, because they were the most beautiful arrangements I've ever seen. Just amazing. Everyone raved about them and I could not have been more pleased. My Son got married on 9/23/11, we ordered our flowers from Scheffler's. We used Orange & Purple, the bride's bouquet, the 5 Bridesmaids, & the throw away were some of the prettiest I have ever seen. They did a fabulous job!!!! We never had to have an appoinment to go in & talk to them about what we were looking for. Well this flower shop needs a current rating so here goes. I know flowers. but have been very disappointed with the ones that I have received from various florist in the past. Knowing that someone thinks I'm special enough to spend a lot of money on them, I want them to be beautiful and to last more then a few days. My significant other took the time and found Scheffler's Flower Shop where they assured him that the quality and beauty would be there. And this is why I'm writing because I am so happy to say that they were right. I received a spectacular cut flower arrangement for my birthday. It has been over a week and the flowers are still pristine. Not only that but who ever was the artistic arranger took lots of time to see that every detail was there. Matching colored rock which lined the bottom of the glass vase, snipping the anthers (they hold the pollen which is messy, besides when they do that the lily last longer) and just using beautiful fresh flowers. Well you get the picture. I have no idea what their delivery parameters are but I would find out if you want to be wowed with flowers. This will be my florist from now on. read more
