I'm not by any means a gun afficiando, I usually go to a shop to get more ammo or hit a range once every 2 months or so. An there's alot of stigma surrounding gun shops an the employees. I can honestly say this isn't one of those places. I felt welcome , safe, an more than anything I left with more knowledge than when I went in with. Omar I think was the name of the clerk. I went in looking for a Walther CCP m2 for my wife. Came out with an even better gun. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to meet a friendly gun encyclopedia and a professional vibe that left me in sheer disbelief. read more

Extremely overpriced! You decide how badly. I priced 2 items there in person and this was the quote: Cheapest price for basic 50 rounds 9mm Ball ammo was $49.99. Sig Sauer P365 was quoted at $900. When I informed clerk that the Sig Sauer list price was closer to $525, the salesman flat out stated this was incorrect. (I understand things are harder to get these days but NOT $900 harder to get.) Overpriced by every metric. Just saw 9mm Federal listed at $59.99. Covid pricing. Just bought same in TN for $18.99. There is 9mm Brazer for $14.99 out there. Worth looking elsewhere. This has been my second time visiting this shop and for the second time I have been let down. I honestly dislike coming to this place but seeing as my boyfriend is into guns and has been trying to find some good advice from people who know their stuff, I gave it one last try. They have a decent gun collection and it's in a good area. The people who work there do know what they are talking about but that's were the good ends. We have had the "pleasure" of speaking to two people who work there and both experiences have been beyond shitty. We asked for advice on an AR that my boyfriend was interested in getting from Spikes Tactical and the only thing the guy had to say was that "It's cheap 'cause its shitty" and followed with maybe you should look into "Bushmaster " and "Colt". Which are the ones that they carry. We are obviously on a budget why would you even advise us to look into such expensive companies? Are you restarted? I wouldn't doubt it. I understand you are trying to run a business and all but if you have a customer asking about a gun from a company that you don't carry don't talking shit as if you knew what you were talking about. Mind you, We did our research on Spikes and have read nothing but good things. It also didn't help that he had the shittiest face and attitude I've ever seen while talking to us to whole time. I have nothing against them but it would help if you would spice up your attitude, no one likes dealing with A-holes. And if you don't believe me about the prices I pay for my rounds call TOP GUN yourself and ask about their prices which don't even compare to yours "moron". You don't have an ounce of professionalism and you totally and absolutely lied regarding our experience at your store. We never intended to buy a shotgun and you never gave us any free ammo box. As a matter of fact when we asked for a box of target practice 9mm ammo you in fact sneaked in a $65.00 police grade (50 round) ammo box to again nail your clients. You lied about the supposed $185 night sights and we didn't spend a lot of time looking for a gun either. You lied here just the way you lied to us regarding the night sights. Do yourself a favor and next time a customer goes to you and tries to work with you when you dropped the ball, try to understand the customers experience a little more instead of attacking the customer when they expose you. Wow! The only retailer I've seen to price gouge more than these guys is CTD. Over $1100 for a Glock 19X? SBA3 brace on sale for $229 when the street price is $129? Don't waste your time coming here unless you like to drastically overpay for your purchase. Went to several other gun shops and found exactly what I wanted for normal rental prices. This place was really nice and the people were great but they need to lower the gun transfer and background check fee. I shipped a gun not knowing their prices and just paid 72 dollars (60 transfer fee) (8 background check) where everywhere else I just called to make sure is 20 for transfer and 5 background. If you're shipping a gun from an online provider just send it somewhere else. read more

They were very helpful when we went in to buy ammo. The store is very neat and easy to find the things we needed. We asked several questions to find the best ammo and they gave us a military discount. We also asked for advice for best shooting range and we were given multiple ranges to go to. Going inside the shop, I must say it's one of the best shops I've visited in Miami. Just like television, the cases are nicely finished, the shop is clean, the inventory is full, and Maria is nice to look at! Yes, I said it. ---Went in on the advice of a friend, so I didn't shop around too much, and I wanted to buy a gun and get it over with. Ended up buying a Judge(I'm a revolver man). Very nice gun, and I can't wait to get it on the range. I must say, after doing my homework, I paid weigh more than any other price I had seen. I was bent over with no Vaseline! But no blame to the shop! It's a life lesson to never buy anything in a hurry. If they are selling something at a much higher price, and you buy it, how can you blame the shop? This place is rip-off central. I'm a relatively new shooter who was looking to purchase some hollow-point ammunition. They sold me 20 rounds for $40 ($2 per round). Before the purchase, I told them it seemed expensive, but they told me that's the standard price for hollow-point ammunition and then showed me an internet site on their phone that actually sold it for more. Reluctantly, and also because I felt silly walking around with an empty pistol, I purchased the ammunition. A week later, while researching the price of hollow-points, I saw that they run about $.40 a round, MUCH cheaper than what they sold it for. Avoid this overpriced place like the plague. I should have known by the prices of their guns that they were in the business of price gouging. They were selling a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard with an MSRP of $419 (most shops sell it for around $375), for about $650. Unfortunately I didn't put two and two together, but hopefully after reading this review you'll be able to make a better decision. read more

Was a nice shop with great selection. The team here was pretty helpful. Both days I went (to buy and pickup the gun) they weren't very busy. I think the issue is the price. They are exceptionally higher than most other stores in Miami. However they were close to my house and had what I was looking for....supply and demand. I do think there is validity to many of the other comments here stating that they are gouging uneducated customers. I've bought a few other products recently but decided to go elsewhere just due to the cost difference. Would like to shop here again but will have to wait until their prices come back down after the panic buying wave is over. read more

I had the same experience as many commenting below. It is a great store with great service. The attendants are very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I did not do any research when I went to buy my first gun. I went to this shop on the recommendation of friends and they were right, everything was great about it. Except that the price was exorbitantly high. Every time I think of the price I paid, I am embarrassed for myself and my failure to get information before completing the purchase. It was an impulse buy and I blame myself. Still, I feel like the store really suckered me. I will never set foot in there again. They made a good amount of money on me the day I bought my gun. As I increase my gun ownership, which I will, I will definitely shop elsewhere. I hope to average the price of my first gun with the price of other guns at fair market prices. read more

Go somewhere else. Anything in this store can be found for 50% less elsewhere. Unfortunately I was ignorant and impulsive enough to trust these guys and bought a few things. If I had just done a quick google search while I was in there, I could have saved 600 dollars on a 1500 dollar sale. The mags were marked up over 50%. The Ammo was a rip off. I caught both of the guys there in some pretty ridiculous lies. Hopefully they will figure out that fair prices and honesty are much better business tactics for the long run. I've never written a review before but I wasted so much money here and do not want anyone else to make the same mistake. Read the other reviews too. DON'T GO! RIP OFF CENTRlAL: I just tried this place out for the first time because they had .22lr ammunition in stock, which is pretty rare for stores because that caliber usually flies out of stock. As I was buying the sales clerk sparked conversation with me, I soon found out that this person didn't really know what they were talking about (in terms of this specific caliber of ammunition). The conversation continued through the transaction, and I made my purchase. Later on, looking through my receipt, I saw that I paid more than double what I usually pay for this ammunition. So, thinking that there was a mistake I called and told the same sales clerk that I think I may have been over charged, she responded and told me that prices have been going up "little by little." I understand little by little, but more than double? I understand I shouldn't have made the purchase in the first place (because of the price), but I wasn't quite paying attention, due to the conversation; I don't think marking something over double the typical retail price can be justified at all. I realize that there's nothing that can be done because all ammo and firearm sales are final (usually), so all I could do is write this so that no one will make the mistake of purchasing from this store and never personally going to this store again. read more

Unfortunately, I came to this shop on a Tuesday and there was only one employee in the whole store. When he finally decided to help; I asked to purchase a box of 50 rounds for a 45ACP and I also wanted to purchase a few more things but he was un-attentive.. so I only got the box of rounds for $45. When I went to the shooting range & opened the bag where he gave me the box, I realized he gave me hollow point box of 20 rounds for 9mm. So, these employees are scammers or have no knowledge of what they are doing... I purchased at the shooting range a Federal ammo box of 50 rounds for a 45 ACP and I only paid $22. I went back to this shop to explain that I was given what I did not purchase. I had the ammo and the receipt. The manager of Florida Armory Gun Shop said that this was not his problem. He refused to make any exchanges or refunds. I told him that I couldn't even use the ammo(for 9mm) because I have a 45 ACP. The only thing he could do to "help" me was to exchange the box of 20 rounds for another box of 20 rounds for my 45 ACP FOR THE PRICE OF $51!!??????? I ENDED UP PAYING DOUBLE OF WHAT THIS IS EVEN WORTH. THIS PLACE IS A RIPOFF These are the type of places where they clone your credit info and steal your identity because evidently, they only care about stealing your money & clearly have no type of customer service! read more

The case looked like it was missing an extra grip. Guy said he'd take care of me, and contact the factory and get back to me. 6 weeks and I'm still waiting. This place has a great selection of hard to find items such as ammunition and firearms, however they are WAY to pricey. They sold me a plain and standard AK build, for close to 2000$. I went to a new gun store and traded it in and bought the same exact thing for around 950$. The prices are much to high, but they do have some rare items that you don't always come across. read more
