Our first time here at this location for breakfast. Our waitress was Melinda. She was very attentive to our needs. I got a western omelet with home fries and Biscuit and husband got the 3 meat omelet with hashbrowns. Omelets were delicious very flavorful. The hashbrowns was crispy but the home fries were over seasoned with what we thought was paprika possibly. Would so get the hashbrowns the next time. The biscuit was delicious. I don't usually get biscuits but they were homemade and flaky buttery. Yum yum. Would have given 5 but there was no sign saying wait to be seated and the lady taking a phone order didn't acknowledge us. I said I wasn't sure since we have never been here before as well as the potatoes. We will try again when we are in Inverness. Especially for the biscuits. read more

Ok every one should be stoping for the smell of fresh brewed coffee. I had a white chocolate raspberry French toast with two scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese and bacon and my partner in crime head Papa's big breakfast. He had scrambled eggs and cheddar grill, topped home fries, pancakes and bacon and biscuit biscuit homemade everything homemade. I can't say enough these folks got it. Rocking whoever owns or operates the kitchen knows exactly what to do to get you in here for a good breakfast. Get you on the road. The biscuits are the bomb probably weighed 3/4 of a pound. I'm lying though but everything was delicious. Can't beat the service. It was spot on. We didn't wait for anything and we rode into town to attend the bike event so they're right on the main drag. Some people just kill me with their poor reviews of places... Not to call anyone out, but imma call out the person who gave them 1 star for driving 8 minutes to find out they were closed (coulda called them? Or just try again?) Jeeeez people! Now that my rant's over, I'd like to say that my family and I had a delightful breakfast here and definitely plan to come back. I had a veggie omelette which was a great portion (I couldn't even eat it all since it came with a side of grits and a delicious, homemade biscuit). Now I don't know if it's my pregnancy body cravings or what, but that cinnamon roll we got to share was out of control. It's not really a traditional cinnamon roll, it had the consistency of something between a coffee cake and one of their biscuits. Not that it really matters much, it was just plain delicious with their icing, which I'd like to top on just about everything right now. It's Friday and there's a small group of people here. Owner is at the register and these waitresses are working and making sure everyone has their food in a timely manner. Our breakfast was good. The atmosphere was stable and everything went perfectly. I'll be coming back again. I recommend this restaurant for lunch or breakfast. Both are ok. One thing is I would have liked an extra container of hot water to put my teabag in for a second cup. Most places do that now. Not here. Maybe because it was semi busy. read more

Another visit to Mama's Kuntry Kafe - this time for lunch. We were lucky enough to see that they offered soup yesterday. This is rare but I must tell you IF you're there and soup is on the menu as a special- it's a must try. Yesterday's soup of the day was Creamy Chicken and Rice soup. It was excellent. You could tell that it was homemade. A delicious creamy broth with a generous portion of chicken cubed in nice sized chunks and rice to make it a rib sticking cup of comfort food. I followed my soup with their house club sandwich. All I can say it that it was one of the best club sandwiches I've ever had. You have your choice of bread. I chose Texan toast for my sandwich. It was loaded with turkey, ham, bacon, two kinds of cheese, lettuce and tomato. It came with fries and it was a very nice presentation. This is my spot. Mama's is the place to go. Great food, the service awesome, I'm a sweet tea guy. Never have to ask for refill always on top of it. Breakfast is always a must for me in the morning. The kitchen sink is one of my favs, always great conversation I usually sit at the back bar and enjoy the entire meal and company. Feels like home, real home cooked meal never fails. Lunch is off the charts too. All the burgers I've had are great. Very filling and great portions. Couldn't ask for a better service. The servers are always greeting. Definitely recommend a stop in if ever in town. You'll enjoy the time spent eating and the experience of great service. We absolutely love this restaurant: the people are great and the food is awesome! We go all the time, and it's a great favorite of ours. My husband loves the fish on Friday nights, the only night they are open until 7 pm. We love breakfast and other meals as well. I think I have tried almost everything. The sandwiches are great, portions are very good and pricing is the best we've seen since moving from MA to FL last August. We can't say enough about the people.
