Average quality, high prices. Their old location was bomb and this one is a dud…read more In my humble opinion, the pompano store rocked. 80% of their items were fair priced and 20% were great bargains! They always encouraged me to come back, and I did. Quality is OK day-of. Most of it needs to be eaten quickly. For instance their watermelon or mangoes wont be good after a week. That's fine but $5.99/small melon or $1/mango are almost as bad as publix. Not quite but almost. Where's the deals? If its expensive, Where's the high quality? I respect their game and wish them luck but sadly its a closed chapter for me. Its not that im not going to return out of spite, but I wont be returning simply because there's no point to. Theres no deals or anything amazing anymore. Best of luck

More like a 2.5 today. It's sad because I really liked shopping here…read more I don't know what happened to the store. They used to have beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables, a nice freezer section. I even bought a tomato tree here once. I don't come often since it's not close, but every once in a while when I'm going to Costco, I'll just drive down a little bit further and stop in and pick up some things. I was so disappointed today. They've gotten rid of 99% of freezer section and they have the old cases for sale, so that's the end of that. Today they had long tables of garbage thrown on top and I'm not quite sure what it was, but people were digging through like it was some flea market garage sale. The entire store has changed and in my opinion not for the better. I was able to pick up a couple of avocados at 3 for a $1, a bag of potatoes so I can make mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving, some tomatoes, and that's about it. I did notice that they had a table full of hot pickle tomatoes that expired 9/20/2025 so that did it for me. I don't understand why you would put out food no matter what price it is, after the expiration date. The other thing that bothered me was the 4% fee for credit card. I know as a fact, if you have the right credit card processing you pay 1.9%. They also had a tip jar at the check out...for what... so the salaried employee can slide your purchases across a scanner and you can put the items in the bags you bring. No one packs your bags here and they don't even have plastic or paper bags. With all the fees, the prices aren't any less than TJs or Aldi. I know now, I don't ever have to drive down here again.

The parking lot is kinda small, and some spaces are awkward to get out of if you have a bigger car, I found out. The market was easy to spot. It is very clean inside and the prices are great. It is a fruit and vegetable market with a few other things like eggs, some pasta, cheese and other things but it is mostly fruits and vegetables here. I did see one long aisle with bargains. It had products of many kinds of things I didn't expect to find here. You have to bring your own bags. They don't have bags but they have some boxes you can use. If you use your charge card. A convenience charge fee is charge. I think it was 4%. They take cash.

Inside, the counters with fruits and veggies are neatly arranged. Each item has signs nearby with their prices. They have a cold case with some veggies, herbs, juices, and prepared foods. Against the back wall are some boxes and canned/jarred items from Flora (pastas, etc) and Goya and other brands. The counter to pay is up front. You still need to bring your own bags. We took a stroll around. Some prices were outrageous and some were on the mark. You have to know what Publix or Walmart, etc are charging to see if the items are worth their prices. Honey and olive oil etc. etc. that we bought in the old location for 99 cents or $1.99 is now almost $5 or more here. I'm glad we came to check them out. Now we know.

The Cove Farmer's Market is a new, local market held in the Cove Shopping Center off of Hillsboro…read moreBoulevard in Deerfield Beach every Saturday through May from 9 AM to 1 PM. This market was created to offer small businesses a chance to sell local products. There were two aisles of tents selling a variety of items including juice shots, sugar cane, fish dip, ceviche, conch salad, guacamole, cheese, coffee, bread, pastries, bagels, microgreens, produce, orchids, healthy desserts, jerky, Balkan Breakfast, World Famous Cakes, raw honey, jewelry, acai, and more. I was really intrigued by the microgreens as I was recently thinking of ways I could incorporate more into my diet. I was also especially happy to see a favorite vendor, Doctor Pickles. With the variety of vendors, this market is well worth checking out if you are in the area. It is also surrounded by great dining and shopping options in the Cove. If there is a drawback, it is that parking in the Cove can be a difficult experience. The tight lanes are often blocked by people waiting for a car to pull out. Also while the parking is free, you still have to register your vehicle at a parking kiosk for a two hour maximum in order to prevent people from using the Cove to leave their cars while they attend other area events.

Nevertheless, when I saw a documentary on food processing, I knew it was time to tweak my diet. I had never heard of a CSA before, but this one came highly recommended. And for a beginner like myself, it did not disappoint. The idea of driving out to a farm to pick up fruits and vegetables was a little iffy for me. Well the price per share includes delivery straight to your door! Worried about timing of delivery? They actually text you to alert you about when they drop the package of. Would you like organic eggs, raw chocolate, meat, and other products added to your order? Just text them to add it. Worried about CSAs that make you pay for 6 months of service up front? This is non contractual! Just pay for the weeks you want and forget the rest. Last but not least, worried about paying for an amalgam of fruits and veggies you've never heard of? I was too. Until I saw that they post a list of what will be added in this weeks shipment! Genius. It takes the guessing work and long driving out of the Csa equation! Just pay, and enjoy :) the customer service was great and I received an ample amount of organic florida produce to cook and juice. I will definitely be ordering again. (Only thing I'm upset about is that I missed the yelp deal. I'll try to use it for my next order)
