At 530am the front doors promptly opened to the lobby and met with the bubbly registrar Diane who made check in simple and quick. Security walked me up to the waiting room where I sat for a bit then prep for surgery. They knocked me out with some great stuff and the surgery was a success. Cudos to Dr Johnathan Levy. Went home and began my brutal 12 week recovery.

They even went to the waiting room to get my Uber order and did not seem bothered. Eden who is always pleasant brought me back to a room right away. I don't remember the other staff names but they were great as well. Dr. Zurkowsky admitted me and is a wonderful Doctor. The floor staff were super, especially the charge nurse, Andrea. I am someone that HATES hospitals, doctors offices, anything and was very unhappy to have an emergency causing me to go to the ER. Upon walking in, I thought wow! This looks more like a designer shopping store than a ER lobby. Saturday 1130 AM and not a single person waiting in front of me. Took about 10 minutes to have Chris come get me and take me to my private room. I asked if there was a bigger gown due to my size, and he went and checked. With a great attitude I must add. Upon changing in my gown, nurse Brittany was in the room within 5 minutes. No joke! She asked me some questions, checked my injury out (which was a nasty one) with all professionalism and great attitude also, and before she good even finish typing it in the computer, Dr Fletcher came in. You figure after all these greats so far, gotta be due for a letdown. INCORRECT! Doc was wonderful. Calmed me down. Gave me a quick answer! Now I understand doing routine screening for new patients.. but gonorrhea! I can understand HIV because it can be contracted through blood but I am over 40 years old and I have never had gonorrhea.. "But most importantly" I have never once been given a lab to get checked for gonorrhea and I "AM" sexually active, my daughter specified she's had these symptoms for years, so who could go for years living with gonorrhea without dying?? I guess she is trying to prove my daughter is not a virgin with all of the std labs. I think it's a disgrace and very disrespectful to send a young female with all those std labs to be tested, it had to be embarrassing for my daughter, my daughter is in fact NOT sexually active, and never has been. and I don't appreciate her being made mockery of. maybe once T see all the sexual transmitted disease labs come back negative maybe she can test my daughter for what really could be wrong with her like mold exposure or some other infection like Sibo that is making her feel unhealthy.

The first day I kept calling my mom but she wasn't answering which worried me ( she was on a lot of pain meds) so I called the nurse ( Mo) and he answered. Went to check on my mom and asked why I wasn't answering. He assured me my mom was ok which made me feel better. All the day nurses that took care of my mom were great ( Erin, Jackie, Mo, Dana, Angie, Melissa) I slept there for the week and a half she was there. The night nurses were ok, only came in to take vitals, give medication and clean her ( I got the feeling that they weren't too thrilled when they had to clean her) which is understandable but my mom had a fractured tail bone so she was limited to what she could do but I'm still thankful for them. Only thing was that I wish the food was better. Every week was the same thing I kind of wish they would change it up a bit & also the case manager I wish she would communicate a little bit more and guide us but nope one can only hope

Nurses, Patient Advocate, Physical Therapist are too busy to stop by. He is a Heart and Cancer patient, and this is the type of care he gets, I ask you would you really want that for any of your loved ones. Now, as of yesterday 31AUG26 the people mentioned above showed up and asked questions. Yet the kitchen still messed up with the food and the patient is now right back at the beginning of having a liquid diet because he has not eaten now in 24 hours. He cannot have any kind of citrus flavored items nothing overly spiced and/or seasoned, in other words a very bland diet. He also cannot drink iced tea because like red wine they both have tannins. He must be careful with so called "diet" foods because of the aspartame and other sweeteners that fall under that category.

This past Friday (Feb 24th) they called me to inform me that Dr Fields doesn't normally see new patients at that date / time but they'd honor it since I had already waited for months. They also told me that the person who made the appointment didn't take all my info. Ok, no prob. She then asked what the reason for my appointment was and I told her yearly checkup and she said that Dr Fields is a cardiologist and does not see new patients for IM. I explained that my insurance said she was an internist, and that I also told the person I made the appointment with that. She said, "Yeah she made a lot of mistakes". ??? So I asked if they could at least suggest a new Dr and she just started reading off a list in a monotone voice. You could tell she couldn't vouch for them. I said forget it I'll just go through my insurance like I did months ago and hung up. To say I was angry was an understatement. I could've seen another Dr months ago. No, and it will take 30 days to refund. I have called them 4 times in the past 2 months to see if the check has been mailed as I have not received anything. She said thet cannot check it is pending approval. I asked what apptoval, your company has been paid 100 percent 2 months ago. She said she cannot check to confirm if and when that refund will go through. I called my insurance company and I am waiting on a respnse from them at this time.
