Unfortunately, my experience today was so unprofessional and disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others. I went in for a routine cleaning and brought a bill I had recently received to ask for clarification on unexpected charges. The front desk informed me that the office manager was not available but might be able to speak with me before I left. While I was in the chair, she briefly handed me a piece of paper attempting to explain the charges, but I still had questions. After my cleaning, I went to the front desk for further clarification and was sent to the office manager's office. When I asked why I wasn't informed upfront about these charges, she couldn't provide a clear answer. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, she accused me of being aggressive and abruptly left to get the doctor. After waiting about five minutes, the doctor entered the room aggressively and told me that while he would waive the charges, my family and I were no longer welcome at the practice. This response was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. This isn't the first billing issue I've had with this office. At my last visit, they charged me for services that were fully covered by my insurance, and I had to go back and forth with them for days to get it corrected. Their administrative side has gone completely downhill, and unfortunately, the practice is suffering because of it. I used to highly recommend this place, but I can no longer do so in good conscience. If you are considering this office, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after years of supporting this practice, I feel it is my duty to warn others about how poorly they now treat their long-time patients. The level of incompetence and unprofessionalism here is unacceptable. Stay away.

Made an appointment online, completed all the paperwork prior to the appointment. Dr. Gray, Yolanda and Kate, the care team for my chipped tooth, were wonderful. They were all very patient, kind and professional. Dr. Gray and Yolanda were exceptional in the care they provided to fix my tooth. From check-in to check-out, the experience was friendly and thorough. I go back in three weeks for my permanent tooth replacement, and am currently considering switching my regular dental care here visits even though it's a bit further away.

Dr. Bawany took over the practice around 5 years ago and changed the name from All Dental Tampa to Tampa Smile Co. I like Dr. Bawany and always received quality treatment from him. The practice has since expanded greatly and recently, I've also seen Dr. Bentivegna and Dr. Gray, both of whom were great. My last few visits I've had Naomi as my hygienist. She is sweet, personable, and always does a fantastic job with my teeth. As others have said, the only reason this is not a 5 star practice is because they are very pushy with Invisalign and the related Invisalign technology. They must be getting quite the kickback from that company as they really pride themselves on how many Invisalign treatments the've been able to push. The assistant did all of the work, unlike a regular dentist who usually does all of that. First you have to sign something because they do not warranty any of their work, and God forbid something happens to the work, then you have to pay for the service again. They are definitely protecting themselves with this form. The temporary they made was very thin, terrible material and fell off the very next day. It split in two because I ended up biting down on it. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. Do not go here if you can help it.
