This a beautiful, clean, peaceful salon. Everyone was so kind and friendly. I was having a bit of a problem with one of my toenails and I explained it right up front, and the team figured out a solution and the tech who helped me, Sunny, fixed me right up. My pedicure turned out beautifully and it honestly felt like such a blessing that I almost cried. Sunny was patient, gentle, and practical and I highly recommend her and the salon. Bonus: the massage chair was great, I'm a shorty and usually don't get the full benefit from those but the ones at Floris are great. My daughter and I went for pedicures. First, I made an appt, yet they were still rushing us like crazy to choose our polis colors. Second, pedicure was so fast, I felt like I had just sat down and before I knew it, they were already polishing. Went for a manicure prices are not explained properly was told $15 for manicure and $5 extra for gel polish but when went to pay it was $35 wonder what I understood wrong. Going to get your nails done should be a relaxing experience. however that was not the case for me, after seeing the woman who walked in before me with kindness and care, (walked to her seat, removed coat) I was pointed to an empty seat without a care. I communicated what I wanted (pink with a heart) and was discouraged from getting that because it would be "too expensive" which was condescending in tone. at the end of the service I was charged for a design and shape even though the coffin shape I asked for was non existent, thick chunky acrylic and an extra charge for a French tip which was not communicated at the beginning of the service. Ashely's tone when I kindly let her know my lack of satisfaction was rude, condescending and belittling, after some convincing I was scheduled to come back again for correction, which will be another review. read more

This is my go-to for pedicures. It is clean and friendly, and they always do an excellent job! There are many spa packages ranging in prices too, which is nice. My most recent experience persuaded me to write this review. Today, I saw first hand how much they truly appreciate their customers. Long story short.. they were offering a $10 off gel-manicure in the future with the treatment I was receiving that day, but I have acrylic nails so couldn't use it, the owner gave me a gift card instead. My girl friend and I wanted to get a pedicure together to have some alone time, and she recommended this place. I saw the reviews, and instantly, I was wary. She's come here many times before using a Groupon for $19 a pedicure, so that's what we did. I called to make an appointment, but the owner said come 15-20 minutes later than what we wanted. We agreed anyway, and came back to pick our colors. There was hesitation to take us both at the same time, which was of course what we wanted. One guy took us to the back, and set us both up. He started on my friend, while I sat and waited for someone to notice me (notice me Senpai!!!) which was about almost half way into my friend's pedicure. The guy who did me was Won, or so his name tag read. I didn't like that they didn't cut my cuticles and just pushed them back gingerly. Weirdly enough, just before my clear coat, Won got up and left me! The owner came over to finish me up, which I didn't mind at this point because my friend was already done. She did the most careless, sloppy job putting on the clear coat, that she didn't even bother to cover my whole nail completely. Ughhhh! Beautiful salon but they nickel and dime everything. Got my nails done on a Thursday and they were a bit thin, my pointer broke on Sunday and I went in to get a pedicure and my nail fixed on Tuesday. I was charged $15 to fix one nail because it was acrylic and had gel polish! By Friday the nail that I got fixed was chipped because she didn't use a base coat before the polish. Really sad because I liked the salon but not worth the price and the up selling they talk you into for basic needs that are included with any other salons services. read more

This use to be my go to nail salon buy something g has changed. After spending over $300 at this nail salon this past Monday, I will not be back. My one daughter got a full acrylic set with white nail polish and pink glitter at base. The cost was $99. After 3 days, one of her nails totally popped off. We went back and they blamed her nails. I have been going to the North Wales salon for several years and have been pleased. It is clean and they take precautions to protect their clients which I love. As with all salons there are different nail technicians with different styles and skill sets. I only ever had one issue where I was not satisfied and they made it right. Wasn't happy with the service here. I had to repeatedly ask my nail technician to clean under my nails and she said to not worry because i wouldn't see the dirt once she added the nail color. Uhh what?? I continued to ask her to clean under my nails, to a point where i asked her to give me the tools so i could do it myself ...and then she finally attempted to clean under them. I think this salon is way over priced for the service they provide. My wife was a repeat customer and EVERY time they made a big deal about the tip. My wife would always tip the tech directly and EVERY time at the register, the manager/owner would ask her if she wanted to tip MORE! Then, she had a service done and the lady told her they charge a 20% tip on top of the normal price. This was never the case prior. Once my wife mentioned that was news to her, the lady was visibly upset and practically threw her card back at her. This is a very beautiful salon. I stopped in to get a polish change on my toes before I left for vacation and was seen right away. The tech that I had did a good job with removing the previous polish and making sure my nails were clean for the new coat. Floris was recommended to me by a friend who has very high standards. I should not have doubted her for a second, but given Floris' proximity to a Chucky Cheese (and one that has, in recent memory, featured a stabbing along with their Elios) ... I was dubious. I absolutely could not believe how, large, well appointed, and CLEAN this salon is. The pricing structure is similar to every other nail salon in the area, but the amenities blow everywhere else away. I was a big fan of how the sanitizing equipment was right out in the middle of the floor for everyone to see. My nail tech was kind of odd. So I'm taking off a star, she didn't seem to care that I was there, didn't speak to me at all and I got the impression that unless she was looking at my feet, she couldn't have picked me out of a lineup. She didn't give me a massage at the drying station, and disappeared as soon as she finished my pedi. Gone to the wind. I was there on a Living Social cert, so maybe she didn't think i was going to tip her. (Don't look at me like that, of course I tip on the full value of the service.) But I had to go search her out of a backroom to do so, as none of the other techs seemed to know her by the moniker on her name tag. I went to Floris last Saturday morning for a gel manicure. I usually go to Sassy Nails in North Wales (and love them), but figured I'd give this new place a try. The salon itself is beautiful. I was very impressed. Unfortunately the manicure left a lot to be desired. They have a very limited number of gel colors to choose from. I was hoping for a light purple color (for spring), but they didn't have anything even similar to that, so I had to go with a buff/nude. The technician also was very, very sloppy and rushed in her work. She didn't let the polish cure long enough under the UV lights, so I have tiny bubbles on almost every nail. She also missed quite a few spots and polished my nails very unevenly. The "manicure" cost $35 - ten dollars more than Sassy. I'll never go there again. Back to my stand-by. read more

Honestly... just don't go here.... there are so many better spots in the area. The ambience is amazing... everything else is awful. The wax room is disgusting and the lady was in a rush... after she waxed me she put her hand behind my head and threw my head up. She cut my finger open while taking dip powder off and she spent most of her time during my service running around the salon and even being rude to another customer. Went for a manicure today, first one since the lockdown and it felt so good to be back! I loved this salon before lock down and love it even more now. The salon was very clean and followed great social distancing/ public health guidelines. Of note, masks required, hand sanitizer readily available and encouraged before you sit down for your service. My nail tech was awesome. I watched her wash her hands and put on fresh gloves before my service. She was wearing a mask and face shield and there was a plexi-glass divider between us during my service. They are limiting number of clients in the salon at one time which makes for a very quiet and peaceful environment. I didn't feel crowded and had plenty of space to myself. Love this salon and would highly reccomend! Looking forward to going back in a week or so for a gel mani and pedi! :) read more

I'm not a normal review writer but this place really has me upset enough that it made me want to tell people how I feel. The first time I went there the next day my gel nail started to peel off. I chalked it up as a fluke and decided to try it again because my stepmom lives in the area and that's where we meet.. I went on Sunday afternoon and Monday morning I woke up with two nails completely pealed off. Now it's only Wednesday and 4 nails are completely pealed off and two are half pealed off. This place is wicked expensive and the gel nail polish sucks. I have never had this kind of experience with gel nails before. I think they don't know how to apply it correctly. Another last thing is the entire time we felt rushed to get out of there and they kept asking us to pay before they even started. I am really particular about nail salons. This place is CLEAN and GOOD! I looove the spa pedicure. It's a little more but totally worth it. My daughter and I recently went to get a gel mani and pedi for a destination wedding. They took great care of us as we picked out the colors even when we changed our mind about the colors. I will NEVER return. I've been getting gel manicures for quite some time and I never experienced a gel manicure quite like the one at Floris. Cuticles on 2 of my fingers were bleeding because the polish service was so poor she tried to file it off my skin and caused me to bleed. Top coat was not shiny at all. I did not pay for the service and went to another place to get it removed. I do not recommend--will never return. Anyone can do a better job in the comfort of their own home. read more
