When looking for hotels in the area the Fulton Steamboat Inn came up. We were very intrigued from the moment we saw it online. Wow, we were not disappointed. We arrived at night and as soon as we rounded the corner and pulled in all three of us said "wow". It was that beautiful! A steamboat designed hotel inside and out! There's a small lake with ducks, a playground, a fire pit area, and a nice seating area. They have a restaurant on sight, but we did not eat there. They also have a small gift shop. They did a great job at keeping things looking clean. The free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cookies were a nice touch. They had the place beautifully decorated for Christmas. We plan to stay there the next we are in town. We have already recommended the place to several people!

There's no omelette or anything no sausage no bacon just premade sandwiches. Somebody that has gluten allergies cannot have anything offered at breakfast. Fire pit was actually lit up at night - cable tv including showtime - no problem with shower. Shampoo/ conditioner and body wash available in pump bottles attached to wall. - microwave and mini fridge and coffee maker on each room. No freezer section. Con: - no complimentary breakfast or coffee at lobby - pool is small. - both beds were very soft, you sink in when you lie down. I suspect empty because the tissue box in the bathroom was also empty. The mirror in the bathroom was also streaked and dirty. See photo. The shower lever that toggles between it being a shower and a bath faucet is stuck in the opposition, so that only a shower can be taken. I reported some of these issues to the front desk so they could address them. My sense is that whoever is cleaning the rooms isn't using a checklist. That's the norm at hotels I've stayed at before. The front desk staff is very helpful and professional, and very nice.

The ceilings hd water damage and the start of mold, both in the room and the lobby. There's a feral cat home in the back of the hotel, nearest the parking lot, so the whole lot smells like ammonia and cat urine. The hotel is understaffed and it shows. The continental breakfast is a joke and the front desk staff showed me how to turn the juice dispenser on and off so that I could get water and said "Sorry to put yo to work." For $267 a night, I don't want to work or breathe in mold and I'd like to watch TV, and I'd like to be able to connect to WiFi.

I mean the knob on the sink would not go down to drain the water. So, the sink was unusable. We asked for a different room after discovering that. The breakfast food was not good. They were out of coffee! The eggs were watery and cold. We ate there the first morning then ate at a coffee shop called Coffee and Company the next few mornings. Hopefully this location will improve in the near future because it's in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful.
