I love Flo's but I do not recommend the lobster roll. It's disgusting. The summer salsa is absolutelt delicious!!

The location of this place is perfect after a day at the beach. Only a 1-2 block walk from Corey beach. When the open in May, there is plenty of street parking and a few spots in their lot. However, when summer comes, good luck finding a spot. The lines can be very long and their prices have gone up and up in the last few years. We have tried several items such as burgers, hot dogs, wraps, and they were all a disappointment. I got the lobster roll and it was flavorless. Not worth the $. Burgers were very dry and same went for the chicken wrap. The only reason we keep coming back here, is for their fried clams. AMAZING! I just can't give this place more stars because of the quality of the rest of the food. They have a great outdoor area to sit with tables and umbrellas, just don't expect to be blown away. read more

I've been here about 7 times since they opened, eating there every time. I guess my mistake the two last times was getting food to go. The tuna was over cooked- had extra blackening spice and although I asked for no cucumbers I guess they thought that meant leave off the avacado as well, which it didn't, and the dry tuna really needed it! The sandwhich seemed smaller than I remembered, I guess because it was just over cooked tuna on a soggy roll. After not receiving any side sauces last time I took out I was smart enough to check the bag this time, again no sides. I chalked the first experience up to a one off, but after tonight I guess if I decide to give them another try i have to eat there. Sad, because I was in love the first few times. read more

Great place right by Cedar Beach in Bayport. Only open in the summer, but watch out, this place gets packed. Outside dining only, great on those warm summer nights! Comfort food is served here. Burgers, wraps, some seafood. Enjoy! read more

Flo's is so good we went twice in one week. Delicious fried clams and love the sitting outside. I had a wrap with chicken and bacon and it was delicious. Try to go in the off hours as the place can be packed . read more

Uh uh, better than...well, you fillin the blanks. Haven't been here in over 30 years. was in the neighborhood and stopped by. It was great! Clams on the half shell, great burgers, Scallops fried were frozen was the only negative. I'm updating my review based on my last visit, and most likely, my last. I ordered the lobster roll a few weeks back, and it was awful. It was soggy. Soggy like the lobster roll mixture was sitting in a bucket of water. I was pressing it with my fork, and liquid (and no, it wasn't mayo that was thinning) was everywhere in the little paper plate thingy. It was also loaded with old bay or something.....it was just gross. We ordered a side of onion rings and instead, they substituted one fry with onion rings instead of in addition to. Hubby got some sort of shrimp wrap that he said was good-so that was the saving grace. Staff wasn't the regular friendly nice group. Our server/order taker was a little abrupt with us, all the while I was being eye balled by several of the beer drinkers sitting at the "counter". It felt a little seedy......and for that alone, I can overlook because you can't control who patrons your establishment, but the dripping wet lobster rolls resonates in my mind and actually makes me a little gaggy. read more

What has happened to this landmark eatery? Overpriced, rude staff. The food? The clam sandwich I had was so fresh it was still full of sand. My daughter's chicken fingers tasted like bacon, not chicken. I have been coming here since I was a small child (45+ years); this is not the Flo's from even last year. read more

Best little luncheonette in town. I've been to their other location and glad I tried this one too! Right down the street from a cute little beach and a Poke Stop haha. The food was delicious! I ordered the Flo Dogs and they were super delicious with some sweet potato fries I shared with a friend! I want to come back here asap. The food takes a while to cook but if you call ahead before you get there you'll be good if you're in a hurry. Can't wait to come back again! read more

This is the second time i ate here and both times i was not impressed. The hot dogs are ok . Not worth 4 bucks. The baked clams are delicious. Onion rings very tasty but greasy . Fries are good . I should have gone with my first instinct from other reviews and not ordered the lobster roll. It has a lot of meat but its on a frankfurter roll and they mix it with a cucumber mixture which killed it for me. And at 20 bucks i wasnt very happy. The food takes way too long just for the simplest foods . Like franks or burgers . Will try the burger the next time . I have had enough of their fried foods and it is too greasy for me . read more

Decent wraps, good sweet potato and waffle fries; all decently priced. The staff is friendly, and our large group was even given a sample of a beer we had inquired about. The clams on a half shell definitely stuck out the most - very fresh, tasty, and meaty! read more

The food is ok.... I guess the reviews built it up in our minds...like they are supposed to. And. It's not a terrible place to grab a bite. But the bread used for the burgers was very greasy. I'd prefer the grease to be on the burger, not the outside of the toast it comes on. The shakes were too thick and the fries were bland. For the price we won't out of our way to go back. Maybe we'll try again next summer read more

If you are coming here to eat a good salad, that would be like going to White Castle to eat healthy food, its not going to happen. Flo's is a charming outdoor "shack" eatery that serves fried seafood, burgers, sandwiches, shakes and ice cream. One of my favorite items on the menu was the baked clams. The clams were not only stuffed with stuffing but also numerous chunks of clam. Yes the wait can be long at times and can be crowded as well but lets be honest, you know exactly what you are getting into when you pull up to this joint. So that should not be a complaint. One word of advice is to check your order and make sure it is correct because on a crowded day im sure it can be chaotic behind that counter. read more

Seasonal take out fish shack in Blue Point near Corey Beach. Steeped in history, it's a nice concession if you're at the beach. Like most concession stands, it's run by kids with a basic menu and below average fair. Grab a seat and eat at one of their outdoor tables (If you can find one). read more

Still waiting... I think they forgot to put in our order but they are telling us it takes longer to cook our food than EVERYONE else who ordered after us and is now done and leaving. Been waiting 30 min for shrimp & calamari. Wish they would just have leveled with us 10 min ago and told us they forgot to cook our food. read more

Love this place! Food-anything you get is very good. The burgers are perfect, the wraps are amazing, and the seafood is great. Fries are a must have. Even the grilled cheese is good! Some prices have increased from last year but not many. Drinks- Bar on the side, decent prices. Try the summer blend! It consists of sweetened iced tea and pink lemonade. Ice cream- They seemed to be running out of flavors the last time I was there. Overall it's good. Not much of a difference between sizes though. The shakes are amazing but a little overpriced at 5$ each. Maybe 3.50 or 4$ would be better. Staff/service- great. You have to wait a while for your food because it is cooked to order. BE PATIENT! The service has got slower this year and the ice cream girl took a while and gave skimpy servings.. Atmosphere is amazing down by the water. Please think about including more seating in blue point please! It's so hard to find a table! I think there's only 11 tables!!! read more

Very convenient to Corey Beach & area...so serve your typical hot dogs, HB/CB, grilled cheese, some fried seafood likes shrimp & clams. Have baked clams, lobster rolls...Then french fries, sweet potato fries, corn on cob... stuff along those lines. Quick fast food if you're at the playground or the beach with your friends or family plus also just if you live locally. They have ice cream as well. Depending on when you go it can be very busy other times not so busy. Prices are reasonable..seafood obviously more $$ then other items. $14,95 it's ridiculous for a lobster roll considering I've relocated to Connecticut the last few years & we get them cheaper & so much better than Flo's. we can get them hot or cold here and where I live is right on the water. All the while I'm on Long Island every month for 7-10 days. And we do go to both locations Flo's but prefer the Patchogue location for food quality, service & seating. Food quality depends on basically whoever is working that day and I guess the time of day / evening you go and who's working. Not one of my favorite places to go but when I would watch my friends kids they would love to go there so I would take them plus if you want to grab something quick to eat like I said when we were at the beach without having to get in your car and go somewhere it's just convenient. Although I haven't been to the Middle Road location in about 2 years due to several reasons but you know I know they do serve some healthy options now like salads and wraps which is good. read more

I'm going to be very honest. The food would be a 4.. they have decent food... the service is a 1. My friend and I came here May 31st. We got lunch and a drink. I was expecting to see two charges on my cc, one from the food and one from the bar. Somehow I got charged a third time from the bar. I called to let them know..afraid that it could happen again. The manager said there's no way it could happen because they need my card physically to be swipped...but he believed me. He apologized and he said there would be a gift card waiting for me for the third charge. When I went there to use the gift card promised to me.. the manager on said because they had no proof they could not give me the gift card promised. He said I would have to go through my bank and dispute it. This is the worse customer service.. I work in retail so I deal with the public all the time. I get that not everyone is telling the truth but my bank statement is proof and you don't promise a customer something and then take it back. If this is not protocol to give gift cards then that should have been known by all management and not an option given. I won't be coming back. Plus my friend also got charged twice at the bar. This is an Inconvince to have to go to my bank and dispute it and it was your mistake. What's worse the manager i spoke to on the phone admitted someone else called about the same thing... but you don't believe me. You're stealing people's money!!! read more
