This place has so much potential to be a five-star experience! I was really looking forward to trying their vegan options during my recent visit. However, I found that the prices for the vegetarian dishes were surprisingly high compared to the meat options. For example, the beet bowl was $22, which felt steep for just a bowl of beets and a small a few pieces of arugula. I believe a price around $15 would be more reasonable for that dish. Especially since I buy beats a lot in the store and they're very inexpensive. It's not the best spot for a quick, affordable lunch or dinner as it takes a while to get your food and it is one of the more expensive pizza joints in the area. On a positive note, the food was truly excellent, and tested great the service was friendly, and the atmosphere is fun. It would be fantastic if they could adjust their pricing a bit to match what you're buying. read more

Well, first, we wanted this to be a great experience. Despite making reservations, we were seated in what seems like a hallway. Apparently the main room is mostly community seating, so the hallway it was, customers and staff walking by you all the time... OK, we are retirees, but the music blaring was hard rock from the 60's. It was so loud we could hardly hear each other, mentioned to the waitress, who was very polite and very terrific, but her response was that she would put in our request. The beverage selection is very limited, all four beers were not cold enough. The salads were top notch, both the cucumber and ceasar! One pizza was OK, the other was medicore. I'd like to give this a 4 star and come back..., but the seating, music, and quality of the pizza overwhelmed the great waitress and salads. read more

I was so excited to try this place out . The vibe was amazing walking in everyone greeted us and every one was very welcoming. The food did take a very long time to get to us and on top of that they ran out of some ingredients. The menu was very frustrating it was all over the place. They have 3 kinds of pizzas to choose from wood fire, stone, and thick. They didn't really have a basic menu like pepperoni each pizza had its own unique menu, but if you switched say you want a thick pizza that is ham and cheese, you cannot get that same style pizza in your wood fire that means you would have to create your own and every topping is three dollars if you create your own. I feel like the menu is trying to be different and that's great but we should be able to get that same topping for a wood fire or stone. It shouldn't be just limited to a certain kind of pizza to make the menu more easy .Creating your own with three dollars a topping is pretty pricey as well. I know they just opened but It was really chaotic and loud in there. I know that it's a Rock theme restaurant and they're playing pretty loud rock in the background sounded like screaming. So on top of how chaotic it was, you could hear a lot of loud music in the background. I know there are new so they might get it together soon. Sadly, when we did receive our pizza, it was not cooked all the way . The dough needed to be cooked more and the pizza it self needed more improvement overall. I wish all small business well, but having Old Town Pizza around the corner, which I'm sorry but they are my favorite pizza in town. It will be hard for some folks to pass that up . The prices were very expensive for the quality of food you're receiving. I do wish this establishment the best and I heard that the rock school they have is also amazing for the youth. read more

Was super excited to try the newest pizza place in Lincoln! How we were sadly disappointed with our carry out order. The G.O.A.T pizza was really good however the hot honey wings and garlic fries were underwhelming. The wings are crispy but dry & have no salt/ flavor. We added our own salt to try and help increase the flavor but still did not enjoy the wings. The fries have a lot of garlic but also no salt and were not crispy. Overall for the price the only good thing was the pizza itself, not sure if we will give it another try in the future. But I'd be cautious about adding extra sides to your order. The staff seemed friendly but also overwhelmed. The decor is super cool and it seems like a fun restaurant inside. read more

Rocked out tonight at Rockstar Pizza and it was amazing from start to finish! The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all on point. We started with the buffalo wings and washed it down with a classic Old Fashioned . For pizza we went with "The G.O.A.T. Track" goat cheese, caramelized onions, prosciutto, figs, arugula, and a balsamic drizzle... absolutely incredible. The place lives up to its name too rock and roll playing the whole time and records covering the walls. Such a cool vibe. Excellent went to the soft opening. The menu has no many great items including Vegan. The menu has so many uniques names for their items. We had the Blue Hawaiian pizza. It was amazing!!! The crust is perfection. I was so surprised of the Blue Hawaiian pizza. I don't eat pork but ooops it was delicious - toppings what a great combination We also had the Vinyl Revival Cheeseboard. It's served on a guitar cheese board, very unique. Staff is hustling and sure they are some kinks to smooth out as it's a new establishment - everything is new and evolving. Be kind to the staff. Hmm. Where to start. First, I totally understand that they JUST opened. They have a LOT of kinks to work out. First want to acknowledge that they comped our bill for 4 (on their own) which was very generous and a big reason why I want to write a review, as this was the biggest fiasco meal I've EVER experienced. My wife finally got her drink order 50 mins after we arrived (all of our drinks arrived individually and spaced over about 40 mins, after being forgotten several times). She ( having Celiac) received her 'vegan' pizza vs her gluten free pizza, about 45 mins after sitting down. Then, having no other options. ordered a Caesar w chicken and they forget the chicken. I finally got my tri-tip sandwich about 1:15 after ordering , as it had never been sent in.. So, there was an hour and half before everyone finally got their food and drinks. The server was obviously having a rough time, and was very apologetic. But this just was a comically bad first dining experience. But really not the reason for the 3stars. The food just isn't great. Wings were good, came out quickly. But tasted VERY smoky (a theme through the night). Ordered one of the 'flat stone' (or something) pizzas, which apparently isn't cooked in the wood fire oven. Not sure why they have two different cooking methods, but this way lacked a lot of flavor. Crust was 'fine' but... just generic pizza. They do apparently have a gluten free option, but they were out and substituted for a vegan pizza instead. The Caesar salad is frustrating.. as it's just huge pieces of uncut romaine lettuce hearts with sprinkled parm cheese. Very difficult to eat that way, as the other reviewer noted And the chicken that comes with it was just minutely diced cubes of very SMOKY chicken. (Apparently every meat there is unnecessarily put into a smoker for several hours) The tri-tip sandwich was uninspired. A few small layers of meat (again I almost couldn't taste anything but 'smoke' , wasn't actually sure it was tri-tip) on dry focaccia bread, w basically nothing else. Again. I appreciate smoked bbq.... But literally every piece of meat we had tonight tasted overwhelmingly like smoke. Also, they're still trying to figure out their desserts. Waitress guided us away from the S'mores. Said they're still trying to work them out. Got a single cookie instead. Don't bother with those... Anyway, long story to say, keep trying RockStar. Amazingly beautiful property. The bar and rooms are great. Understand you're just opening. Think about the stifling smoke flavor on all the meats. And rethink the Caesar and desserts. read more

Great atmosphere. We really loved the vibe and all of the people who worked there were awesome. My husband loved his pizza by the slice. The homemade foccacia used for the sandwiches was thin and over cooked (a little bit hard). My sandwich still had good flavor. The ceasar salad was good, but nothing special. I was searching on a Saturday night for a new pizza place to try. I came across this place and decided to make the 30 to 40 minute drive to try it. They have three different kinds of pizza. There is a wood fire pizza, stone deck pizza and thick crust pizza. I went with the stone deck pizza. We got half sweet child o mine and half tour bus (combo) the pizza was really good, and they also have a really good homemade ranch. Half of my pizza was supposed to have hot honey on it, but they forgot to put it on there. Luckily, I noticed after a couple of bites and the waitress brought me a side of it. I wish this place wasn't so far away from my house, because I would love to come here regularly, especially to try some of their other pizzas and sandwiches. They also have s'mores for dessert that looked really good. The waitress said that everything to make the s'more is homemade, including the marshmallow. I will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. read more

We were looking for a quick bit in downtown Lincoln. We decided to give Rockstar Pizza a try. We could hardly read the menu where we were sitting the lighting was so dim. We ordered a plane cheese pizza and added sausage, olives and red peppers at $3 each. When the pizza came it was skimpy. Very disappointing. You could hardly tell we added extra ingredients to a plane cheese pizza. It tasted good and service very good. read more

Went there Saturday night, 2nd night open, and found the food pretty good, maybe a 7 out of 10, but the service was really lacking. A pizza dinner for four people took 2 1/2 hours, way too long. Drinks took a long time to get and the two pizzas we ordered came out 15 minutes apart. Not good. When the bill came they weren't even sure how to split it equally by 2. 4 of us went recently and there were some goods and not so goods. First, the good: Cool vibe and friendly/welcoming staff. They sell pizza by the slice and I got a Magic Mushroom slice... it was one of the best tasting slices I've had in a long time. Great flavor and great crisp on the crust. I also ordered a fondue to share with the table and everyone loved it. My daughter and her friend shared a s'mores and they really liked it. My daughter ordered a cotton candy drink and was told that they didn't have cotton candy to garnish it. No big deal, she liked the drink. Not so goods: The Tri-tip sandwich was no bueno. Thick slices of bread with barely any Tri-tip on it. Little to no flavor. Disappointing. The sandwich came with fries, but the fries didn't come out until we were boxing up the leftovers... about 20 minutes after the sandwich was served. The wings... super overwhelming smoke flavor. My daughter loves wings, but could barely eat one wing because the smoke flavor was way overboard. Disappointing. Tip: If you go, stick to pizza, the fondue, and the s'mores. read more

First of all I have to start by saying to those that think going to a grand opening restaurant event will always be perfect, they should just not attend anymore grand openings because they always have kinks to work out! That being said... we thought the food was great! The brick oven pizza was Smokey and very flavorful. They did mess up on some added ingredients with our friends, but comp the bill for them on their own. Service was good, however they had some issues with the point of sell machine, which is not unheard of and they were very apologetic. Hospitality was great and the music was an added plus. There was a wait, but again ... Grand Opening and we gave ourselves extra time knowing this would most likely happen. We were met with a smile when we came through the door. Went to Rockstar pizza for their opening on Friday night! What a fantastic place! The food was served a little different but in a good way. Example: The salad wedge salad was an amazing plate full of strips of lettuce and was out of this world. There was so much of it a friend and I split it. Also had the fried mushrooms. Biggest mushrooms I ever saw, and I could have made a meal out of just those. Then we had a pizza very good and very tasty the crust was so good everyone at our table was raving about it. The waitress kept saying she was sorry for this or that but it was her first night and she did a fabulous job as we had a full table. She got all of the orders correct and I know she left with a good tip from me. I have seen a couple of not so good reviews on this already. Give me a break they just opened, I don't usually review something until I have been there at least three times especially with a new business just starting out. To those of you that said bad things give me a break and maybe next time you should wait a while to go to a new place if you're going to be that critical. I think from as busy as they were and they were packed and for being the first night they did great. I would highly recommend this place especially when they start where you can go in and order a slice or two at a time that will be great for a lot of people who can't eat a whole pizza. So, I am giving them a 5-star rating, good job Pagano's I'm sure you will end up being the Best of the Best with this like all of your other ventures.
